If I was going with my favorite, I would probably choose Metagross.  If I chose one for a pet, I would go with Jolteon as I think it would be a good Pokemon that could protect me and be quick to alert me to trouble with its spines.

Oh. My. Gawd. I should have posted in here sooner. I guess I would have to take a Pikachu, that way whenever some body pissed me off, I could just tell Pikachu to use thunder bolt and make them blast off. And when they came back, I would do it again, and force them to quote Team Rocket: "We Are Blasting Off Again". If I had to pick a second choice, I would say a Grottle or Torterra, but they are kind of big, so I would have to go Pachirusa... that could get me a lot of brownie points with the ladies. And for a third choice, Charmander or Squirtle. I saw Squirtle because Squirtle is just plain old epic; and nobody better dare argue with that. And I say Charmander because Charmander is plain old epic as well, and he will eventually grow in to a Charzard, and then I would not have to pay for airplane tickets anymore.

I would get Skitty, because it's close to being an average cat (and has a <(^-^)> kind of face.) I would also get Typhlosion as well because he's cool. I'm not so sure about the other Pokemon yet, but those two are my favorite (as a pet.) But mostly Skitty because Typhlosion might burn my house down or explode my motorcycle's gas tank by huffing at it.
