I was probably around 6 when I got my first computer. It was some OLD fat computer, haha.

I was 7 years old my first computer was a laptop

I first used a computer when I was about six or seven.

10 or so. I also fairly quickly figured out how to emulate SNES, NES, and Sega Genesis on that old computer. First game I ever emulated: Megaman X. I still emulate that game today. Emulation of old systems is one of the reasons why the PC has become my primary game machine.

I was 5 years old in kindergarten when I remember first using a real computer. That was back around 1993ish. It was those old Apple IBM computers with the blue screen and the keys made that weird hollow sound when you pushed them.

Can't really remember... maybe three or four or younger...

I made my way over to a computer when i was 2 and my mom bought me some educational games, started going on the internet at 3

I believe I was 7 or 8 I cannot remember and  I was 10 when I first use the Internet.

I think I was 6 or 7 when my dad dug up our first working computer out of the trash, a Windows 98. Before that (I think a year prior), my dad got an old Apple computer. It didn't work though, so that' doesn't count.

I was 4 when I used my first computer some old Windows machine. I got the internet when I was like 10 dial up lol.

I first use the computer when I was 3, you know, playing PC games until I become 8, when I first go on internet.

I was probably around 6 or 7. It was an old Windows 95 computer. The earliest memory I have is the Printmaster Gold title screen. I loved the music that it played.

I was about 2 or 3 when I first used a computer and went online. I (barely) remember how much I wanted the game "Blood" and how much of a fight I'd put up because my parents wouldn't buy it for me.

Haha this thread is crazy. I first used a computer in school. We had like ten Apple II's for the whole school. Back then people just didn't have PCs in their homes unless they had a lot of money, and we didn't. I guess the first one we ever owned we got when I was eight or so. Windows 95 wasn't out yet, it just had DOS and Windows 3.1 on it. The first time I ever used the internet was in like 1998, it was on a friends' dad's AOL account. Porn soon followed.

The first computer I ever saw and touched was a work of art in the form of an IBM Aptiva. 486 processor clocked at 66mhz, 4mb of RAM, 500mb HD, Sound Blaster 16 sound card..... Ahhh, that beautiful old beast saw me through so many hard times.

My parents got it in 1994. That would have made me..... About 6 years old.

I couldn't even begin to list all the DOS games I played on it. Sure, it had Windows 3.1, so there was SkiFree, but all my time was spent in DOS.

Even when my parents finally sprang for a Windows XP computer much, much later, I still went back to the old Aptiva. I would download a DOS game that I found online, put it on a floppy disk or CD, take it to the Aptiva, play the daylights out of it..... Oh, those days were happy.

When that old computer finally at last died, I was very sad. I opened the case, looked within its dust-encrusted innards, found the RAM stick, took it out... And sent the rest of it to recycling.

I still have that RAM stick. Sometimes I give it a touch, and remember the joy it brought me.



I miss that computer...
