This is basically a place where people can ask questions and learn a little more about the religion.

I'm trying to find a classification to put myself into, there are like a thousand. So far I practice my own interpretation. The beauty of the budhist religion is you haev the freedom to do that. It is also good for me because very little faith is required. There is hard evidence that buddha existed. He isn't a god though, and didn't want to be, which I also find interesting.

I've always been intrigued by Buddhism. Probably because in many respects it's much like Druidry. However, I was not aware of the classifications. I'm not quite sure what you mean by that. Can you explain that a little better and give some examples? Please?

Well between Japan, China, Vietnam, and India, and all other asian countries there are about a thousand different denominations (In the same respect as the amount the Christianity has.) Zen buddha is an example. They all have their differences. I haven't found one I like enough to be part of it. So far, I am just really drawn to the way of life, and meditation and the freedom of interpretation.
