The name "Final Fantasy" has a similar story... Squaresoft had made a few different games that had all flopped. They hired a little nobody composer named Nobuo Uematsu, and banked all of their hopes on "one last fantasy game" before they planned to drop out of the industry. Ironically, the "last" game they thought they would make as a company was the one that launched their careers.

I think that is pretty much why the made what everybody sees as Mario 2, because Lost Levels was so similar. Super Mario 2 is prbably my least favorite in the series. It isn't bad, just thought 1 and 3 were so much better.

My best friend and I were chilling out, playing Zelda II one day (on Zelda Collector's Edition for GameCube), and he went into a screen where a fairy was there to refill his health. The fairy's fanfare played, and my friend looked confused. He exited the screen, and came back in. The fanfare played again. He started laughing...

"What is it?" I asked.

He entered the screen yet again, and after the fairy's fanfare played, he screamed "I'm Lovin' It!"

I realized what he was trying to say and busted up laughing too...
