unclepie924 :
tj4bigred :

Both wrong. Castform has relatively weak attacks, and Shedinja has better Attack than Special Attack.

Here's your hint: The battlefield condition is not weather; it is a move called Stealth Rock, which is similar to Spikes, except that it does more damage per switch in than Spikes and is a Rock Type move, not a Ground Type move. The moves' type is more important than it would seem.

WarpStarFerret : im going to guess camerupt because its move eruption's damage is dependant on the amount of HP the user has... Stealth Rock would weaken camerupt down by 25% so if eruption was used, it would not have been as effecting with ful HP

unclepie924 : You're almost getting the right idea. It's not Camerupt though, as Camerupt's Ground type half resists Stealth Rock, returning the damage to the normal 1/8th. Weaknesses are involved though... But as I said before, you are supposed to be looking at abilities, not moves.

unclepie924 : I know nothing of 5th gen. None of my riddles will be of 5th gen Pokemon, they will all be 4th gen and prior. Besides, I mentioned that the Pokemon in question fell out of a professional tier; Black and White haven't even been released in the U.S.A. yet as well as several other countries, so there are lots of countries that still don't have access to Competitive Battling with 5th gen Pokemon.

WarpStarFerret : i am guessing that one of the pokemons type is flying...... but, the ability? if i was close with camerupt and eruption... its gotta be a pokemon with an ability where when there is more HP, there is more damage.. lets not forget its a special sweeper
...thats tough

im gonna guess togekiss... its ability is serene grace right? the stealth rock would beat it down before togekiss could use a status and damage inflicting attack or whatever its called... May i ask what its typing is? if its a dual type, i guess 1 of them would be ok

unclepie924 : You're getting really close now, but still wrong. Serene Grace is somewhat along the lines of what I'm looking for ability wise.

It's a Bug/Flying type, meaning it takes a whopping 50% damage from Stealth Rock; I think you see why it's almost never used now.

This is your last hint by the way; well, for 5 guesses at least, but you really should get it on your next guess.

unclepie924 : It's Yanmega. The ability in question is called Tinted Lens; it makes it so that "Not Very Effective..." moves are doubled in power before they are even launched, and Yanmega has a good enough move pool that it can learn moves that are at most resisted once by an opponent. In other words, Yanmega can, with Tinted Lens, hit EVERY SINGLE POKEMON with at LEAST neutral damage, and Yanmega hits hard. It's base Special Attack Stat is 116, and it even has a base speed stat of 95. If Stealth Rock isn't active when Yanmega hits the field, the opponent is in for a world of hurt. Pretty much the only Pokemon Yanmega can't knock out in 2 turns at level 100 is a Blissey. For the record though, Porygon-Z's Special Attack is better, it just doesn't have that speed or ability going for it.

Sparky is a Pikachu that belongs to Ritchie (Ash's human rival/friend in the anime).

Sparky has sort of a hair style or something like that. Its hair distinguishes it from other Pikachus.

As stated above, Ritchie's Pikachu is nicknamed Sparky.

Ritchie also bas a Butterfree named "Happy" and a Charmander named "Zippo."

Would you like more fun facts about Ritchie? He's my favorite character, so I kinda remember him .

unclepie924 : Well I do remember that he put star stickers on all of his Pokéballs so he could tell them apart. He's a lot like Ash except that he's smarter. That's why I like him.

Puzzle time.

Okay. The female counterpart of this Pokémon is unable to breed, but the male version can. That's all you get.

Nidoking. Nidoqueen is unable to breed nut Nidoking can.
At first I thought it was a trick question, and the answer was Gallade (a male-only Pokemon).

LOL, I just knew that one. My ability makes a move, a move that is not my type, very useful and powerful. I am one of two Pokémon that shares no types with other main series version mascots.

tj4bigred : could you rephrase that one because having only two pokemon that shares no types with other main series version mascots sounds pretty confusing. Are you saying this pokemon is a version mascot? and the ability makes a move!?

im really not quite sure but i am going to guess Groudon, its a ground type yet its ability makes sunny day, a fire type move! and there are no other version mascots with the ground type, too

Groudon is correct. It is the only Ground-version mascots, and it's ability Drought, makes a move it learns through level-up, Solarbeam, a grass type move, a one-turn move.
