Me... well I can't do much... I light candles and say a few chants, but until I move out I can't really do rituals. Sucks really.

I feel ya, I can't do anything too special either... and I was really looking forward to Beltane.. I light candles, incense then meditate.. I usually get a power rush on Sabbat days and usually have strong premonitions and dreams.

What were you planning for Beltane?

Yeah... Yule, Beltane and Samhain are my favorites and I usually go out of my way to try to do something to celebrate it. Usually the Beltane one ends up with a trip to Renfair and the candles at night thing. Beltane is rather important to me, since that is the night that I was initiated.

I really don't remember when I was initiated.

I was planning on performing some very... deep magick (so to speak), that requires a really deep trance. I really don't want to say what it is. My secret, no one elses.. But I'm more than sure I'd get interrupted or caught. The 'feel' or aura of such deep magicks get spread around quite a far radius.. and it'd make even the unsuperticious (sp)people feel it.. so.. yeah. bad idea. unless I spend that night with a Wiccan friend and we could do something together...

Ah I see, well thank kinda sucks I guess... we will keep you in our thoughts if we do do something... other than that we can try to do something for Beltane, since that is a much bigger sabbat anyway. Imbolc passed with me doing nothing for it because I was so stressed with school, I won't let that happen with Beltane!

From what I have read/seen, Druids and Wiccans follow the same calender as far as sabbats are concerned, with the season changes being the lesser 4 of the 8 on the Wheel. Beltane (along with Imbolc, Lughnasdah, and Samhain) are the major 4. Double check with your info to make sure, but I'm pretty sure about this.

The college I attend (same as Elara and Pockets) has a pagan club. They are holding a mayday fair on the fourth. Elara, my boyfriend and I will be readers there and there will also be dancing and music and all sorts of stuff on campus. Seems like it's going to be a lot of fun. Does anyone know of other places that hold tings like this open to the public?
