I'm not denying that they aren't a super power.... but they aren't as powerful as they were.... the power of the US has peaked... and they are no longer this dominating force that they were.

Now, there isn't any one country right now that can stand up to them like the Soviets could... but that doesn't mean the US is as strong as you make it sound


oh, by the way.... the world wars started and were fought without the US involved for more time than they were involved.... just thought you might want to consider that. The U.S showed up late and took all the credit . The world can go to war without the U.S being there at the start.

There is a TON the world has to deal with... Saying that the U.S. power has peaked is ridiculous.. it weaves and bobs, depending on who is president and who currently holds congress... All nations rely on the U.S... Especially the nations with higher populations... Where would they be if the US didn't buy the majority of their products?

well, I'm sure China could consume 3 or 4 or 5 times as much as the U.S. could if more countries would trade with them.... really.... you take the U.S. out of the equation and the world just trades with itself and not with the U.S.

will that really hurt them that much? not really.... sure it may slow things down for a few months until things get figured out.... but the world would survive without the U.S.

N. Korea wouldnt nuke us because 1 of our nukes can take out their whole country... Plus we have an extremely better chance of shooting theirs down.

I know its been a LONG time since I posted but from what I read you guys dont see whats really going on here....

1. North Korea has missles that explode. They can reach us and they can reach adjacent countries.
2. Will China get involved? No because they consider themselves friends with North Korea. Will they help them? no, because they need us to stay stronger in economics. Although they are the powerhouse right now Economically. We are the backbone of all economics. We are the ones who provide the resources. We are the ones who invent. They just innovate. They are good at duplicating...
3. Will Russia get involved? No they will not because they feel as though they have enough problems and they dont need more.
4. Well then who will get involved? Well there is a thing called the UN and the countries that were not mentioned above and that are not near N. Korea. I think they are possibilities..
5. Who will help N. Korea. Hmm although they probally dont like arabs... they may make alliances with them.

1. They might not reach US, but they reach Australia. N Korea also has nuclear weapons dont they? Thats a fairly big explosion. A few of them missles they launched are capable of carrying neuclear warheads.

2. China cant get in any armed combat anymore, Aussie troops had to protect them in Iraq.

3. Russia was once a super power, now look at them. I dont think they could afford to get involved.

4. Isnt russia and china in the UN? S Korea would wana help fight against N Korea if they can help in anyways. UN AKA America, will move in, n take them all out, eventually.

And as for the world surviving without the US. Not likely. You see without the US China still wouldn't trade with any other country. Without the US germany would own most of europe. Without the US germany would of been the ones with nuclear missles which would of made Hitler in charge of them.

In my last statment, i said China cant go to war. I think its acutally Japan. Its got somethen to do with some treaty they signed after they were nuked by America. Or atleast thats what I've heard.

Yes Russia is in the UN but not possitive about China... I know back in the day they were not... not sure about now... They were not because they took over the republic of China which moved to Taiwan and started Taiwan and Taiwan is in the UN....

And who is to say that you have to like your allies. Why not make temporary treaties??? I think thats what N K is going to do. They dont have that much power. They know if they shoot they will get shot at as well.

And yes Japan does not have the man power. But they do have the weapons.

And yes japan may not have nukes but if you think that they would nuke japan then you would have to not know what problems can occur then... There are two reasons why they wont do that both having America involved. 1. Radiation travels slowly to the east depending on the amount of radiation. 2. They are a big trading country to the world. and america would attack NK right away.

If any side used nukes then there will be more nukes and thats the end of the war and maybe the world. But if they were to use other weapons like that go boom and just blow up and no radiation is involved. That would be the ideal thing... Its been said already. The leader of North Korea does not like how the arabs fight which is suicidal attacks. He wants to keep as many soldiers alive as possible.
