I find Shedinja rather interesting, but is not a BIG fan of him. First, A Bug/Ghost type is really diferent to meh! This combination of awesomeness is almost as awesome as a Pokemon with a Fourth Evolution! Or a different type combo like...a Grass/Fire type! Yeah, just wait for THAT one!
Second,the fact that when you evolve a Nincada into a Ninjask and IF you have an extra space is when it just appears out of nowhere staggers me!!

Here is what I think what happens: You evolve the Nincada and it evolves into Ninjask. Suddenly, the Ninjask feels heavier in its gut. It goes all, "I gotta take a crap ovah there..." Then it goes, and when you walk over there, you see a giant skin, molted from your Ninjask. About a second later, the skin starts to levitate, and then covers itself up. Then it grows those eyes that look like jingle balls and a halo, wings, and Voila! A Shedinja!

I find Shedinja to be possibly the most rare Pokemon out there, next to Wobbuffet, the Unown, Togetic, all those kind. But still, not a BIG fan of this one.

I say yes because it is really powerful at certain type gyms because they tend to only have certain types of moves and pokemon so he's pretty hard to kill there. I think that versus a real trainer he doesn't do that good because the types used to beat him are kinda common (flying and fire that is).

I think Shedinja is friggin awesome as long as its trainer isn't an idiot. Yeah if you're stupid and throw Shedinja out against something it's weak against then yeah it's gonna suck, but if you use it right then it's bada**.

Shedinja is just awesome. It may only have one HP, but its ability awesome. Plus, the way to get Shedinja is awesome too. Not just is it diffrent, it's also makes it so you don't have to get two Nincada to get both evolotions.

i say that shedinja is a unique pokemon too, but not anything i would add to a team.

Firstly Shedinja isnt hard at all to obtain. Its quite simple to train a Nincada to level 20 and make sure you have a free slot in your team when it hits that level. I also agree that its a huge gamble, what with 5 types that can damage it, and Flying and Fire and pretty common in tournaments and competitive battling. Plus things like Spikes, Poison Spikes and Leech Seed are all common too. So while he is nice for in-game, anything competitive will need an awesome amount of luck and a team that can set up everything perfectly. Also to the thread creator, Shadow Ball isn't Dark its Ghost. And as stated earlier its stats are nothing special. No outstanding speed or attack or SpAtk. So to me, Ninjask is better between the duo for a team. Not only does Speed Boost rock, but it can be Baton Passed to another Pokemon, preferably a slow one with awesome Attack, like Snorlax

I like Shedinja because of the Wonderguard ability. Having the Wonderguard ability means you can onle get attacked by the moves that are super effective against your type (in this case bug). The good thing about Shedinja is it is only weak to five types. Pokemon players vastly underestimate the power of Shedinja.

Yeah, Shedinja MAY be great, but in my opinion, it SUCKS! Wanna know why?

Sure, it has the famous and awesome Wonder Guard ability, but it has ONE HP. So when a super effective attack hits it, THAT'S IT. NO MORE SHEDINJA. Even if you get confused and hit yourself, NO MORE SHEDINJA. Poison or Burn? NO MORE SHEDINJA.

Shedinja is hard to work with, very unreliable, and SUPER fragile. (It's a hollow shell, so yeah.)

Don't use Shedinja. Shedinjas suck, and one hit can take em out.

Shedinja is cool, but he has only one flaw: If the opponent knows how it can be defeated, then it really poses no challenge whatsoever, unless its Sp. Attack and Speed are really high. If the opponent has no idea how to defeat it instantly, it can pose quite a threat. Besides, he can learn a pretty wide variety of attacks, so he is pretty cool. If only he had more HP instead of 1... Oh well.

Anyway, I picked Shedinja. If you stare into the hole in its back, your soul will be lost forever!!! MUHAHAHA!!!!

Shedinja sucks. 1 toxic and he is dead. It's not worth it. Use parasect, shuckle, or ninjask if you need to use bug types.

I don't like Shedinja it's stats suck exept for attack which is only good especially compettitivly. If you carry a Fire, Dark, Ghost, Flying, or Rock move chanses are unless Shedinja carries a Focus Sash it'll go down before even using a move (unless it's protect).

I'm sorry ninjas and shedinja are cool but only in certain situations. It's a big gamble and it doesn't pay off very often. All in all, there are just more cons than pros.

Shedinja is a pretty cool poke, I just wish he had more than one HP. You can't be a Pokemon Master if your Level 100 Shedinja dies with one Ember.

Shedinja is very good. See if opponent doesn't have any super effective moves, then the battle is over for them.

I think that Shedinja can be a help or a hindrance in highly competitive battles. Shedinja is awesome, but you can't always be certain that your opponent's Pokemon doesn't know a move that's super effective. If you're going to take it into battle, save it for last, when you know your opponent's Pokemon. That's my suggestion.

Shedinja is very tricky.........still its like a surprise pokemon but there is a holy trinity of things that can harm the poor thing
