Instead of making a thread about any noteworthy games i played in the last 3ish years, i thought i'd just make two single threads for the years 2021 and 2022. It's less clutter and it might make people take a gander.. probably not but it's worth a shot

Yakzua: Like a dragon
It was a pretty fun game with the usual Yakuza somewhat sombre story telling combined with its usual silliness and goofiness. I enjoyed it a lot to be honest. I finished the story part of the game and got all of the trophies besides a couple... I just really couldn't be bothered to grind for so long to be able to complete the after game tower.

Firewatch
Honestly speaking it's an alright game.. i just find walking simulators kinda tedious. i did 100% the trophies. For me personally it's one of those game where you have to be in the right frame of mind to truly connect to the story. Some people enjoyed it, i just found it tiresome tbh

Dirt 5
Platinum'd this game as well. I do enjoy racing games quite a bit honestly speaking. It's probably one of the few genres of games that i've played fairly consistently through my life. I got the plat in 2 days and enjoyed it a lot. DLC and stuff has come out since then but never got round to it. I honestly think i've enjoyed every main dirt game... not the rally ones though

Persona 5 Strikers
I'll be honest here i barely touched the game, I might go back to it at somepoint to give it a fiar shot. but at the time and still now, the persona 5 world is kinda meh.

Hitman GO/ Lara Croft go
Fun little puzzle games. nothing more, nothing less. Platted it but lets be honest here, puzzle games and VN's are probably the easiest games to plat if there is a guide for them.. if not welp have fun sometimes

Poison Control
Was a game i randomly bought and enjoyed a lot of, Never saw anyone ever mention it either. It also sits in the gray space of memory. I know i enjoyed the game, but besides you go around cleansing souls of their "poison" and your aiming for heaven i cant remember much else lol. Still a good game though

Overwatch 2
It was honestly the game i played a lot with family.. by this point a lot of the people that i played Overwatch 1 with had tired of the game.. and let's be honest while i hope that it does get better... they really REALLY dropped the ball so hard on this franchise that i doubt it'll be repaired so easily.

Honestly this is just a small glimpse of the games i did play in 2021.. it was also probably the last year i actually tried to get trophies.. i played 83 games on ps4 that year.. some barely at all.. some a lot and just didnt know what to say about it... stuff like Gran turismo 7 and sport etc.. I played a lot of racing and sport type games and let's be honest i cant think of a harder genre of games to actually try to talk about.
