I think it is really interesting how different this was than the Tour de Vizzed I won in July 2017, yet the end of the month for this was pretty hard just like that TdV was. The competition was pretty chill this month… until the end. I realized I needed to do a lot to try to get my 1st place a little more secure. And still, it wasn’t secure until yesterday because I couldn’t get double points anymore. I really love how that made the competition more interesting! I’m thankful for the opportunity I had to be a part of this competition. It’s pretty mind-blowing because I was off of Vizzed for a year and a half and then came back in April.

Well, since I won, I got to choose a custom username color for myself. I chose teal in honor of a family member who passed away in 2018. Teal was one of her favorite colors. And I think it looks great! For the last few days of the competition, I thought of changing my username to this color, and that gave me a big drive to keep working really hard to defend my first place. I also always had the motivation to reflect God in the words I was typing in my posts and the topics I was discussing. I’m satisfied with my win because it was more purposeful than just passing the time for me. And this competition allowed for my participation in some neat and very meaningful discussions. It was fun to keep finding different places to post and discuss things with people in the threads I made.

cid789 : Congratulations on getting 2nd place! You really made me work for this win Especially when you made 14 posts in one day. That was the hardest day of this VCS for me. You put up a good fight in the thread competition too. I had to make sure I posted more threads and hope that they’d get enough replies! I hope to see you compete in another VCS someday. I’m done with my VCS career so you won’t have me to worry about next time! I can’t guarantee I don’t get in the top 5 some days on accident though…

Pacman+Mariofan : it is 2nd time in a row i got 2nd place april i finished 2nd behind legacyme3. for most posts i have done was near 30 posted in april.

cid789 : Nice! In my days when I was newer to posting, I hit my record of 88 posts in one day. That was too exhausting.

Honestly speaking the reason i lost all motivation to even try to compete was due to the bonus points. Now don't get me wrong i have no issue with double point days, however when the first one was done 10 days into the competition and i'm told that to make it fair for others that didn't compete it kinda sucked hard. Especially when there was then 8 in 20 days.

Now i'm not saying that i'd have won or anything it just left a sour taste in my mouth that's all. I know it's only an issue to myself for sure. I'm a competitive person and it just didn't sit right with me. It's for fun anyways so *shrug*
