I was curious if anyone had spent the time to see both versions of Dragon Ball Super and if there's any differences you prefer in one over the other, for people unaware the manga is actually completely different from the anime this time.

Like for example Goku doesn't do Kaioken X10 Super Saiyan Blue vs Hit, first he goes Super Saiyan God then afterwards Super Saiyan Blue which I can say I easily prefer the anime because the episode he did that restored my faith in the series. Another example of how different the two series can be is how in the manga they have a Mastered Super Saiyan Blue form where they absorb the Ki around them into their body or at least that's how I understood it, I could go on and on about how different the Goku Black saga was but I'll just say I prefer the anime for 99% of it but I will admit that Goku trying the Hakai made no sense to me but was pretty cool. I can't say I remember all the differences in the manga for the Tournament of Power but one of the things that has stuck out in my mind since I first saw it was in the manga Master Roshi basically shows Goku how to do Ultra Instinct... by dodging Jiren for a while... what? I'm sorry but I can't look at that like it's serious that's just ridiculous at least in my eyes feel free to say why you think it was cool. I also remember Gohan wearing Piccolo's clothes which I think was actually pretty cool he had already worn Goku's clothes quite a few times as an adult, speaking of Gohan correct me if I'm wrong I seem to remember him some how taking Kefla out of the Tournament Of Power which I'm not sure how I'm suppose to believe that an adult Gohan that trains once in a blue moon is supposed to do that.

Right now I’ve only watched the anime but I saw bits of the manga and noticed the differences between the two (especially the tournament of power arc) and got me interested in reading it if I ever do find some copies (or even online don’t know,) especially since it’s already ahead of the show with the new villain moro (?)

I've only watched the anime myself, but I'm vaguely aware of what's happening in the Manga thanks to Facebook.

Seems the manga has expanded on things in an interesting way. Can't wait to see the anime adaptation if it ever comes.

I've only ever really gotten into the anime. I've tried the manga but I couldn't bring myself to stay interested when the anime was an option. The very nature of Dragon Ball and the action really made it something that you have to see to really enjoy in my case, and I never really got the full experience when I was reading the manga.

Yes, despite the anime and the manga both telling the same story, the way it goes is quite different. When it comes to power levels, I prefer manga because I find it to be more accurate and clearer. As for the fights, I am more familiar with the anime, and plus I enjoy it more when a fight is displayed on the screen. I hope we see the Moro fights soon!
