Hmmm, this question can become really fuzzy from person to person depending on religious/spiritual beliefs. If a person believes in a Heaven or eternal afterlife, then I see no reason why their answer would be living forever. I'll still stick to dying now over living forever, no matter how much I love my life right now!

I would much rather die now. Living forever on this earth would be torture compared to what's in store for me after physical death. No matter what you say, sept, I believe that when we die, we go to heaven or hell. So, with that in mind, living forever as a Christian, knowing the state of things and knowing there'd be better life in Heaven, I choose death over life in this situation.

I would rather die right this moment than live forever. Why torture yourself with knowing that you will grow bored with being alive? You could spend a lifetime in every possible, conceivable spot on this Earth and run out of things to do and experience. Honestly, there is enough to do that one should not possibly ever become bored.
I mean think about it. Read every book ever written, that should take at least a few thousand years.
And that's ignoring that more books will be written every year, so it's potentially endless.
Add to that all the video games and movies that exist, well a large enough amount of games take at least a week to complete 100% and all the things you can watch is a huge amount of time, that will take another couple of 100 years to do.
Then you can learn to paint, play many instruments, and even explore space.
If y'all going to get "bored" so easily then I can't help you

I first heard this question on the beginning of a Bone thugs and harmony song. It goes "are you ready to die, or do you wanna live forever?". At first I was like "I wanna live forever duh". But then i thought about it, and i dont think it would be all that great to live forever. Because all the people that you know, you would see all of them die eventually. And soon enough you would have to make all new friends, then eventually they would die and I think eventually you would just be wishing to die.

I think the toughest thing about living forever would be watching the people around you get old and die.

Although I don't see why that should prevent you from meeting more people and creating more friendships and such.
