G.I Joe Arcade Game Cujo Review
Hello my fellow Vizzed Retro Game Junkies! Its your Cobra supporting comrade in arms brother Cujo ( " The Cobra " ) Cricket. Here to bring you a review of a game that caused un-countable kids at Show-Biz Pizza a.k.a ( Chuck e Cheese ) to throw massive temper tantrums, hissy fits and uncontrollable waves of tears. I know this for a fact, For I was one of the many G . I Joe snot nosed punk kid fanatics to do so. I can still remember when I got my grubby little hands on this retro arcade classic. It was my tenth birthday and I had my birth day party at the near by Show-Biz Pizza again for those of you who may not remember or even been alive at the time. That was what Chuck e Cheese Pizzas name in my day, with Billy Bob being the Star of the day and also he was what 25% of my nightmares were made up of as a child. Well, I spent just about all day playing this with my family and friends and still we were unable to beat this hulk of a game. Yet looking back on it, It was well worth the price for the time since the home gaming consoles could not hold a flame to arcade machines at the time. Plus you could be that sweet skilled gangster ninja " Snake Eyes ". You could also be that giant tower of a man known as " Road Block " . That sexy & sweet ginger who could snap a mans neck in a blink of a eye " Scarlet " . Need I even introduce the leader of G . I Joe? Heck, why not? The king of kings, The One Man Army, The Duke Of Dukes..... " DUKE ". Graphics : 9 / 10This game was truly one of the first games that blew my eye lids up over my head. It was as if I was able to play and control one of my favourite cartoons and one of its four characters. Two of which being my top two G . I Joe's ever Snake Eyes and also Duke ( not Nukem ). The cut screens were real smooth and nicely shaded. You really thought it was part of the Cartoon show in that time. The in game graphics were really no different in that case. You could tell where you were shooting at just about at all time ot... Read the rest of this Review

WWF Superstars Arcade Review
Hello everyone, And welcome to the WWF Superstars review. I'm your host Cujo and boy do we have a real slobber knocker here for you.I can still remember going to the laundry mat with my mother as a very young child and asking her for "penny's" to play the "Hulk Hogan" game. Little did I know that my family was in a real rough patch financially and I was lucky if I got one dollar to play the WWF Superstars! Arcade game. That was only 2 plays for me because the machine at the laundry mat we were at cost me 50 cents a credit. It never took me any time at all before I was all out of "penny's". A few times I would get?lucky and a teenager would come in and get really far in their quest for the "WWF World Tag Team Titles" Most of the time I would just stand and watch them play in pure awe as they would make their way to fight Andre "The Giant" and Ted Dibiase "The Million Dollar Man" accompanied by none other than "Virgil" him self.Graphics : 8 / 10The games graphics were pretty standard for its time and had nothing really to break through in that department. The six wrestlers you can choose from look well and you can tell who is who. You really only get a little confused by "Hacksaw" Jim Dugen and Ted Dibiase at times. Other than that Andre "The Giant" towers over the rest of the WWF Superstars roster and that makes him feel some what intimating. The cut - scenes with the tag champions after each win are really nothing more than sub par low res drawings.?Sound : 8 / 10?As with the graphics the sound was also standard for its time but it also varied from arcade machine to arcade machine depending on how crowed the place you were playing WWF Superstars was. Also many of the WWF Superstars arcade machines suffered from really faulty, low quality and poorly placed speakers. If by chance you were ?a lucky "Hulkamaniac" and had access to a machine that was away from a lot of surrounding noise and had proper audio?functioning you may be able to under stand what the heck Andre "... Desert Strike SNES Review
Cujo your friendly killer cricket is back to review Desert Strike: Return To The Gulf for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES). "The Strike Series" is by far, hands down, par none, The best "retro" helicopter shooter game series of all time. Mainly because it is the only "retro" helicopter shooter game series. Besides that fact I remember spending many of moons playing this game as a 8 or 9 year old boy, trying to figure out what it was I needed to do and how was I to do it. Now that I'm a wee bit older and can somewhat read a tad bit better, I can share to you the wonder that is Desert Strike: Return To The Gulf!!!!!!!!! Graphics : 8/10For the time period it did not get much better than Desert Strike. From the opening sequence and start menu, To shaking hands with "MR George Hubert Bush himself" the graphics look great and right on the money. It really does most of its shinning in the game-play graphics department. You can easily tell "what is what" while playing, from ammo ( brown box with red on top ) and armour ( Silver box with red on top ) crates, fuel barrels ( 3 fuel drums together ), 1-Ups ( Box with a Red X on top) and winch upgrades ( Silver spool of wire). It also goes for "who is who" from friendly troops, enemy troops and civilians. Pretty much goes with out saying, If they are not shooting at you, chances are they are on your side, and need a lift if you have the room. Down side to it is that you do not get any other type of helicopter to choose, unlock, or use the whole game.Sound : 9/10The sound was done just right for the SNES. You can tell they really wanted to make each shot of your machine gun really pop, The sound of a missile or rocket in-coming gives you a quick chance to try and dodge if the enemy is unseen. I myself love the "CLICK" sound when I run out of ammo. Also you will never forget tha... Read the rest of this Review

Spider-Man: Maximum Carnage: SNES
Cujo here doing a review for Spider-Man & Venom Maximum Carnage: This was the first of the two Spider-Man & Venom games for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES). The second game beingSpider-Man & Venom Separation Anxiety. Which I hope to also write a review for after this one. I still own both games and they both hold good old memory's for me. I always loved the red cartridge for this game. I would also like to note this is my first "real" type of review for a game and I'm open to any or all, good or bad criticism. Graphics: 10/10 For the time nothing could hold a candle to how well the comic book style art was done for this game. This game may even still have the best comic book style art for all of the SNES games ever made. It truly feels as if you are playing out the scenes of the actual comic it self. The cut scenes are also well done with the text very easy and clear to read. I love the fact how you can tell what is what and not confused on what to grab i.e. Hearts for energy, extra life and special character to help you along the way. From Spider-Man to the common thug.
Sound: 7/10 The sound is done quite well for it being a game based on a comic book that has no voice acting or sound track to work off of. Compared to the Saga Genesis the sound on the SNES is much much deeper and crisp and seems to fit perfectly. The grunts and screams the common thugs make can get somewhat played out and if you play the game for a good amount of time you will hear them randomly in your day to day life.
Addictiveness: 8/10 Once you get the hang of the basic controls you will be glued to the game for quite some time. The fact that throughout the game you get the option to choose to play as either Spider-Man or Venom makes the replay value that much better. You will find yourself doing multiple run-through to see how or if the story plays out differently.

WWF Super Wrestlemania- Sega Genesis-Review
WWF Super Wrestle-Mania for the Sega Genesis was the first WWF title for the system and would have two sequels to follow it up with the same type of game-play. (WWF Royal Rumble-1993 & WWF Raw-1994). I would call WWF Super Wrestle-Mania a beta for the two other follow up games for the system. WWF Super Wrestle-mania was also released for the Super Nintendo, they differ so much that they should have just gave them different names. I will review the two versions of the game against one another. Yet I would much rather review it against the better two sequels for the Sega Genesis, Royal Rumble & Raw. I will however compare the main differences in the Sega Genesis & Super Nintendo versions of WWF Super Wrestle-Mania.WWF Super Wrestle-Mania for the Sega Genesis had just eight WWF Super Stars to choose from. Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage, Ted DiBiase, British Bulldog, IRS, Papa Shango, Shawn Michaels and the Ultimate Warrior. WWF Super Wrestle-Mania for the Sega Genesis lets you to also use finisher moves for the first time. In WWF Super Wrestle-Mania for the Super Nintendo you had ten super stars to choose from and NO finisher moves. That alone puts the Sega Genesis version over the Super Nintendos port by many of miles. The Sega version even had a extra mode of play that the Snes did not include in its version of Super Wrestle-Mania. WWF Champion-Ship Mode, It was as close to a story line in the game that you were going to get and was fairly easy once you got the hang of the controls. All you need to do is select the super star you want to play as than best the rest One Vs One until you are the WWF champion of the world.
