Pokemon Emerald - Good Or Rubbish? Pokémon Emerald is one of the most famous Pokémon games on the vizzed retro game room. Let's see how good this really is. Graphics 9 : When Pokémon Emerald came out, people must of been like "Awe-amazing!" because it was such a improvement from gen 1 and gen 2's graphics. They added more colour and more better Pokémon designs. All the sprites are improvements as well. I can't refuse to say the games graphics were good for it's time. I am sure people would agree with me about the graphics. Nobody, should ever say this was not a improvement from the other games. It had more colour and everyone knows why this was put on GBA, because this is a advance game for it's time. Sound 10 : The sound was a huge improvement as well. Generation 3 had the best themes in the whole Pokémon franchise. You should look at the elite four's theme. It was a huge improvement, the sound was more of trumpets and took time to make. Most of the themes are very addicting to listen to. So yeah, this game had the best music. Everyone who has played through the game has to agree that the music was excellent. Addictiveness 10 : This game is truly addicting, you will keep on trying to find rare Pokémon like trapinch and try to evolve them all the time. Fighting team Magma and team Aqua and foiling their evil plans are truly addicting, also the tag battles are fun, like when you fight with Steven, I am not saying who you fight though. You get to play through the game as Maxie (Team Magma) and Archie (Team Aqua) wage war against each other and you fight both of them as they spread trouble across Hoenn. For their own desires. There are like new Pokémon every route and they are from the old generations sometimes, so if you liked the old Generations, I suggest playing this. Pacman review The classic pacman! The guy almost everybody knows! Now lets look at his game! Graphics 7 : The graphics were pretty standard for it's time. Not much to say about it though. Just colours.... Sound 9 : Lots of people liked the sound in pacman, when it goes like "wacka wacka wacka wacka". And the game over theme. The sound was obviously hard to make at the time it was made and this was a arcade game. You can't expect so much music. Addicteveness 8 : You will keep on trying and trying to get points. To get the highest score! It is pretty fun to kill the ghosts(or whatever they are) and eating all the little stuff. So the game is very addicting at some points. Story N/A : No story in this game at all. You are just pacman and feeding yourself avoiding enemies. Depth N/A : Old games did not have that much depth and exploration. And were mainly games that had no story and just had harder levels and it goes on. Difficulty 6 : The game is not really hard. All you have to do is avoid the enemies and eat stuff. Sooo. Yah. Overall 8.9 : It was a decent game for it's time. So I gave it an 8.9. Enjoy the game and just play it. |

Saints Row II - Good Or Rubbish? Last time I reviewed Saints Row The Third. And I didn't like it. But now, I am reviewing the game that introduced me to the series. (Of course I played 1 after) So lets see, was it better than the third? Graphics 8 : Well, the graphics were decent for its time. Its one of the reasons that got me intrigued into saints row. And to be honest, they are better than the third's graphics. On this, the cut scenes seemed more neat. And you could use the environment more. Like when throwing someone into your jacuzzi and stunning them while they are in it. So I liked using the environment but I will talk about this in the depth section. Sound 9 : I loved the music in saints row II. It actually seemed to show how rough still water can be. When you are fighting enemies with the music on, it gives you a better feeling. Also, when you use stun guns. It actually makes a sound that sounds like a real stun gun. And the enemies actually fall down like they had a seizure. Also, the characters voice actors actually fit them. And what improved from saints row 1 is that you choose a voice that can fit your character. Instead of making your voice different because of your characters race. This is what I liked about the sound. Addictiveness 10 : Seriously, this got me more addicted because of the story, depth and music. Also, the activities were unique compared to number III. You could go in a crash derby, fight club and protecting your homies. The activities sometimes let you have extra stuff! Like rare cars and new homies! Don't forget doing the Fuzz. You could take down criminals! Story 9 : In saints row I. The saints were about Julius (the old leader) trying to rule stillwater so that gangs could stop fighting and they can fix the system. Saints Row The Third - Is it Good or Rubbish? I am reviewing one of the games that ruined an entire series (in most people's opinions). So I am going to share my opinion of this game. Graphics 7 : The graphics only improved slightly form saints row 2. Saints row 2 had completely different from 1. I am asking, why did this not have better graphics than 2? It was the same and didn't even take time to improve it. Sound 6 : Meh, the sound or music in this game was not really good compared to 1 and 2. The previous games music had a gangster feel. Yes, but in this game, the songs were just childish or were just supposed to make people laugh. I mean, satisfaction replaced all the other good songs! What the hell! I preferred the old games music better than this garbage music that repeats it self every time! "Till I get my.... satisfaction" Is that really an enjoyable song? Addictiveness 3 : Seriously, some people say it's addicting because of explosions! And "Fun" No, it was not fun. And there are lots of games that have explosions! This is not the only game that has bazookas or explosions! Half of the game was just doing activities. Doing that tron thing. What the hell is going on? This isn't as good as the last game. It had lots of memorable but awesome moments! Like fighting the Ronin leader! In this game, all the gangs are teamed together! Seriously, it takes three gangs. To take down one? Just send all of them to kill you! The gangs did not think at all and acted like morons! What happened to the gangs fighting each other? Remember the begining of saints row 1? Super Street Fighter IV - Is it Good or Rubbish? Here I am, reviewing a fighter game. This is my first review of a fighter game so let's hope this goes well. Graphics 10 : The Graphics are extremely awesome. As you play through the game, you can see the extraordinary moves and how they are outlined! Even the characters are outlines perfectly! The moves are awesome and are not really that spammy (super moves :/) Sound 9 : The sound is a awesome thing in the street fighter series. As you play through, you will hear themes that are hard to forget (if you like street fighter so much). The battle music is awesome in my opinion. The audio for characters are also good. Even if they are showing the anime cut-scenes! Addictiveness 7 : This game can get addicting when you have not seen everyone's story. As you play through, you will get addicted by owning multiple of characters and knocking them out. The characters stories are also addicting as there are some characters that have extraordinary stories. Such as Ken, Ryu, Guile and much more! Story 9 : Well, to be honest, it depends who you are being. Some stories are good, some aren't that good or does not make any sense. But all characters have a challenge to reach or are hunting something down. So the story is mixed between 7-9 but I will give it a 9. Depth 8 : The depth of this game. Not that much but fighting to be honest. So I can not say that much but it takes time to beat all characters story mode. If you have finished them all, just play on-line and test your skills. Difficulty 5-8 : It depends on what characters you are using. Some characters come out OP and not nerfed. But some characters come out with a decent move set. Pokemon Shiny Gold - Good or Rubbish? This is the famous pokemon shiny gold hack. Let's see if it is a good remake of pokemon gold? Graphics 9 : This is completely awesome, it's a pokemon fire red hack, yes. But the graphics surpass the fire red/leaf green graphics! It looks like they made new art and sprites for pokemon! This is why I give the graphics an 9. Sound 9 : Pokemon Crystal, Gold and Silver had great music. But with fire red music. It is legendary! Fighting Silver with Gary's theme is just awesome. The game is not downgraded and is excellent! Addictiveness 8 : Playing Silver and Gold with better graphics is just excellent. I have to say shiny gold X is more addictive but this is still addicting. It makes you want to re-live your gold childhood again! Having to catch all legendaries that you could before again! So if you are a gold and silver fan, I suggest you play this! Story 9 : Some people downgrade pokemon saying "Oh you are ten then you become champion, the end." But that is not all in pokemon shiny gold. It is about the revival of team rocket! And how they are trying to lure Giovanni out to lead them to success. Doesn't seem good to you? Too bad. Depth 8 : This is better than the original Gold because their are Gen3 pokemon! Yes, I know HeartGold did 4th gen pokemon and 3rd gen. But you can have more pokemon on a retro game room, which is hard to get games like heartgold/soulsilver. To be honest, it has better graphics than HG/SS! So you can get every gen3 pokemon except legendaries. Difficulty 5 : If you want a more difficult one, play shiny gold X. So the difficulty is like every pokemon game on this. Fable III - Good or Rubbish? Fable was one of my favourite games. Then fable II came and I was pleased. But lets see if it is really good? Graphics 8 : Well, the graphics are the same as fable II and fable II graphics were awesome for a 2008 game. But this game was made in 2010. Were we supposed to expect more from the graphics? The graphics were still great though. Sound 9 : The sound is extraordinary but they are not as good as fable the lost chapters themes. TLC had themes that expanded the mythical feeling. Don't get me wrong the sound is fantastic. Addictiveness 6 : This is when the review starts saying the bad things about the game. The addictiveness, this is a important thing in games. The game was addicting before you became king. Making your journey to find the rebellion and doing awesome side quests. But when you become king, the quests just got bland and stupid. There was barely any side quests and the side quests sometimes go away when you don't do them before the battle. And if you live in bowerstone when you are at the siege. Your family dies! How stupid is that! Wasn't there supposed to be a warning or anything indicating that your family will get killed? If we knew that we would take them to a temporary place to live! Not to let them die! So the game was boring when you became the king. Story 7 : The story is kinda dope but there was good things about it. You are the younger brother of king Logan, as your dad died. But he is doing evil deeds but this helps the city become better and have more defences (no spoilers why he is actually doing this) The main bad guy comes out of no where though. There was no explanation for the main villain. And no, Logan is not the main villain. You can make him join you when you become king. Modern Warfare 3 - Good or Rubbish? Let's see, this is the first shooter I have reviewed. Is it good? Or plain rubbish? Graphics 7 : Graphics? Probably the same thing as the other call of duty games. I personally don't think the graphics changed since COD WaW, which is probably one of the best call of duty games. Also, there are no injuries when you are shot. Not even a bullet in your arm animation. But I am a person that does not judge a game for it's animation. So I might cut this out in my overall. Sound 7 : The sound is probably the only thing I like in call of duty. The themes get stuck on your head every time you play it! So, the themes are not really extraordinary compared to games like shining force or pokemon. The sounds are just recycled from the last games to be honest. So I can't give the sound a high score.? Addictiveness 3 : Well, to be honest this game is not really addicting. Why? Because it is just shooting. The story is not really?intriguing as well. Which I will talk about sooner or later. I don't think killing enemies and getting promoted to useless ranks that just give you guns which are too overpowered players will leave the game. I am not saying this because I am bad at this. I am saying this because the game is just bland and boring. Story 5 : Hmmm, you wonder why I gave this a 5. Well because the story was perfect when it came to modern warfare 1 and 2. They should of stopped it at modern warfare 2. Why? Because there was no point of the war in the game as it was already ended in the last game. I swear it said Makarov died but is that just me? Also, didn't the task force get disbanded by general?Shepard? This makes no sense that task force are in modern warfare 3! The story is confusing and suddenly, they kill off one of the best characters (no spoilers) He was one of the best characters in this game. Probably one of the people I only liked. |

Pokemon Advanced Stadium - Is it good or rubbish? Here I am, reviewing another game. Lets start with the graphics. Graphics 8 : The graphics are not downgraded and it is the same as fire red. So there isn't really much of a change and the sprites aren't different from fire red. It is just that the trainers you fight against have the same sprite as you. This was weird at first but lets see if it will change the next beta. Sound 7 : The sound is a bit downgraded. Yes, the battle themes and such are still there. But most of the themes are cut out and in some room, the music is completely removed. So it will be better if the rooms at least had team rocket themes or dark cave themes. I wouldn't even mind it. I just think there needs to be more music. Addictiveness 8 : Well, since there are 3 battles (1 of them is just starting over) you would want to carry on and fight against the opposing enemies coming your way. So you would want to carry on, but when you finish it, you won't want to play again. So next beta needs to have multiple of battles. 100 would be nice, but that is asking too much from the creator. Story N/A : Well, how do you expect a stadium game to have story? It's basically just having a competition, so no need to rate it 3 - 10. Since stadium isn't about the story. It's more about the battles and pokemon you use. Depth 7 : Well, I was surprised you could of get all of the Kanto pokemon. But it is a fire red hack, so I expected to get all the Johto and Hoenn pokemon. When I tried to get the Hoenn and Johto pokemon, it would not let me. So next beta, you should let Hoenn and Johto pokemon available. That was one of the downgrades. Difficulty 7 : Well, since all your pokemon are level 100, it is easy. Shining Force II - Good or Rubbish? Shining Force is a good rpg, which is slightly long. Lets begin the review. You are a young boy (not a girl option unfortunately) Who lives in a town. Yep, that is all I am saying about the start. But this game is filled with a good storyline and you get to face evil hordes when going to places. The combat on this is very simple. Go up to an enemy and press attack. But the attack depends on your stats. But it isn't only attacking. You can have healers in your party to heal wounded team-mates if you are afraid of losing one of your party members which is temporary. So if you had a healer, you need to be one space or infront of the team mate to heal them. Simple? But the bad thing is, there is no grinding in this game. You can not fight hordes in one place more than once. (Correct me if I am wrong) The sound is simply amazing, the battle themes are simply great and addicting. But if you are in a battle constantly and you keep on losing. It gets annoying. But that does not affect the rating. The graphics are great for it's day and age. It is a pixel game with great combat animations. They might not be good compared to this day and age's graphics. But they are pure gold. This is addicting simply because of it's story. A NPC might die or such. Or a climax might happen! Nobody will know! The depth. The depth is simply great. You get to recruit members optionally! You have lots to do and only 1 chance to do some side quests! This is why I think this game has lots to offer. The atmosphere is simply awesome as you move to town to town. You help your kingdom! And you encounter new enemies and characters that will send you to another storyline! Even other characters have storylines! All characters are useful at all times! Pokemon Toxic Purple - Is it good? Here I am reviewing a pokemon game. A game where you are part of team rocket! Let's see if it is worth it or just plain rubbish? Graphics 7 : I have rated the graphics seven because they are simply the same as Fire Red. The games male sprite is slightly unattractive but who wants to look like a normal team rocket grunt? The girl's sprite is pretty simple. I like it how he has put on the uniform on the protagonists. Your rival (Which you don't fight yet since it is a beta) has a slightly unattractive sprite as well. But he is not the one you are being. So I would rather worry about my sprite. Sound 8 : I have rated the sound eight because it is the same as pokemon fire reds game. That is what I like, the Lavender Town theme has been kept and the team rocket base has the same slightly creepy theme. Not that much I can say about themes. Since it is a short game. Addictiveness 7 : I am sure the game would have been more addictive if it was complete. You would start your objective as a team rocket grunt and rush to do the command. It makes you want to see what happens next. Like when you go to lavender town(Not mentioning anything that happens). But you would stop playing if you were fighting those trainers on the road. They kind of can destroy your pokemon team. Story 8 : Wow, I have to say that this the only pokemon game that has a different plot. It is awesome that you aren't doing the gym challenge and instead doing evil deeds for team rocket. It isn't "stop the evil team and become champion." It is when you have to complete your objective. How to catch mewtwo Mewtwo is said to be the strongest Pokemon in the game. Because of this, it can also be the hardest Pokemon to find and catch. Here are some simple steps on how to catch Mewtwo and become one step closer to being a Pokemon Master! Read this! 1. Beat the Elite Four. You cannot get Mewtwo until you defeat the Elite Four and become the Pokemon champion. 2. Obtain the National Pokedex from Professor Oak. You will need to have captured sixty Pokemon before he will give it to you. 3.Fix the Network Machine by finding the Ruby and Sapphire (see below). [u]Finding the ruby[/u] 1. Go to Island 1. You will need a Pokemon who knows Surf to do this. Speak to Celio and he will explain that you need to find an item for his machine. 2. Go to the entrance of Mt. Ember. On the lower right side of the area, you will see some Team Rocket members. You will hear the first password to the Rocket Warehouse. Battle them, and enter the cave. 3. Proceed all the way down to the bottom level. You do not need to read any of the braille charts. You will need a Pokemon with Strength to get through the cave. 4. Pick up the Ruby and exit. You can either use an escape rope, use "Dig" or exit the way you came in. [u]Finding the Sapphire[/u] 1. Go to Island 6 and find the Dotted Hole, which can be seen on the Town Map.
