Pokémon Emerald is one of the most famous Pokémon games on the vizzed retro game room.
Let's see how good this really is.

Graphics 9 : When Pokémon Emerald came out, people must of been like "Awe-amazing!" because it was such a improvement from gen 1 and gen 2's graphics. They added more colour and more better Pokémon designs. All the sprites are improvements as well. I can't refuse to say the games graphics were good for it's time. I am sure people would agree with me about the graphics. Nobody, should ever say this was not a improvement from the other games. It had more colour and everyone knows why this was put on GBA, because this is a advance game for it's time.

Sound 10 : The sound was a huge improvement as well. Generation 3 had the best themes in the whole Pokémon franchise. You should look at the elite four's theme. It was a huge improvement, the sound was more of trumpets and took time to make. Most of the themes are very addicting to listen to. So yeah, this game had the best music. Everyone who has played through the game has to agree that the music was excellent.

Addictiveness 10 : This game is truly addicting, you will keep on trying to find rare Pokémon like trapinch and try to evolve them all the time. Fighting team Magma and team Aqua and foiling their evil plans are truly addicting, also the tag battles are fun, like when you fight with Steven, I am not saying who you fight though. You get to play through the game as Maxie (Team Magma) and Archie (Team Aqua) wage war against each other and you fight both of them as they spread trouble across Hoenn. For their own desires. There are like new Pokémon every route and they are from the old generations sometimes, so if you liked the old Generations, I suggest playing this.
What also makes it addictive are the Gym Leaders, most of them have something to do with the story and tell you something essential sometimes. You can also fight them again, they have stronger Pokémon so you can grind easily. So if you like addicting games, I suggest playing this.

Story 8 : Well, people always rate the story low, but I am not going to do so. This is about a kid leaving home, yes but he/she is from Johto and his/her dad is the gym leader there. He/she just wanted to live there until he encounters Prof.Birch getting chased by a zigzagoon. You take one of these following Pokémon, Treeko, Torchic and Mudkip. You beat up the zigzagoon with of the Pokémon and you start your journey. Then you encounter a Team Aqua goon while going to Rustboro City. He is trying to steal goods from a man. For a reason but not known. You save the man and he introduces you to Devon company, they give you a device to phone previously battled people. But this turns into war after taking a package to Steven Stone, the former champion. Then Team Aqua and Magma come and tries to take property from cities. Like submarines. And you foil their plans. But then you try and summon the legendaries Kyogre and Groudon. But then, this awakens Rayaquaza which stops the fight. Then you can capture them after the game. So yeah, a short summary of the story.

Depth 7 : This game takes quite a long time to finish. Not much to say about the depth though. It explores other islands and shows how islands were built and some places were built far from civilization but they are also civilized.

Difficulty 9 : I have given the difficulty 9 because some gym leaders, trainers and the elite four are hard. It depends on your type most of the times. The elite four are truly hard because they can have different move types. So the elite four are truly very hard and take long to beat.
So yeah, the game is not really easy as some of the other games (the original red and such.) The difficulty has became harder  passed the generations and this makes the game hard to nuzlocke compared to other games. Yet again, this generation was when the Nuzlocke was made.

Overall 9.7 : I have gave the game 9.7 because it is probably the best Pokémon game in the whole franchise. So yeah, this is a awesome game in the Pokémon series.

This is a pretty good review. There are better out there but there are also a lot worse too, Keep up the good work and good luck on your other reviews.
