TMNT Tournament fighters review
The graphics of this game are decent and they are pretty good for NES, the character sprites are good and the background places are all different depending on where you want to play. The graphics may not be the best or most detailed, but put into consideration when this game was made. I scored the graphics a 7 overall because there is some detail in the game's characters and places, just maybe not the best but it is good. For its time the graphics are decent and you can make out all the characters and I think you should give the game a little slack because it is an older game and the graphics have gotten much better since then.
I like the sound, there is a little tune for each place when you play and they sound cool when you are fighting against an enemy. Like I have said before, it is always a good bonus when the game has a good sound, it always makes the game a little bit more enjoyable and fun to play and I think this game has just that, good sound. I scored it a 7 mainly because there are only a few stages to go and after a while you kind of get used to the way the music sounds, so overall the sound of the game is decent, but it is always better than having nothing to listen to and just a quiet, dull background which is boring and you don't enjoy the game as much when there is no music or sound.
It is an arcade game so it is supposed to be addicting! I liked playing this game because it was simple and easy to play and I liked fighting against the opponents at each stage, it is not overly hard, but it is challenging enough to keep the game both challenging and exciting. I thought the enemies were fairly easy, but of course the bigger, stronger enemies like shredder and leatherhead took a little more effort to beat, but it is not impossible and with a good character choice and some good move combos, you'll be all set! So to me it was pretty addicting and fun at the same time which is why I scored it an 8. It is an arcade game, it wouldn't be addicting otherwise!
There isn't really much of a story to this game, except when you win and there is a little story that corresponds with the character you used to win. So not really much of a story in the game, the majority of it is just fighting the other characters, so not too much of it is focused on a storyline through the game. I scored it a 6 for story because other than the little story at the end for each character there isn't much of a story to this game which is why I gave it this score.
You can play the game on a harder difficulty to make it more of a challenge for yourself once you have beat it on the regular difficulty. And there is a mode where you can pick the characters you want to go against but other than beating the few characters and trying to do it with a harder difficulty, there isn't much more to do and that is it for the game, pretty simple. I scored it a 6 for depth because there isn't a lot more to do once you have beaten all the characters in the game on regular difficulty unless you want to change it to make it harder, so other than that there is not a lot more that is left to do in the game.
The game really isn't all that difficult and if you think it is too difficult on the regular setting than you can change it however you like. Even still though, in the tournament mode, it isn't that hard, all you really need is to be familiar with your keys and the moves and pick a good character and you will do fine. I thought the tournament mode was pretty easy and yes, shredder is a little overpowered, but it wasn't impossible to beat him, you just need a little practice and you play the game for a few minutes, you will get the hang of it and get better. As for controls, they are pretty simple and you can adjust them to whatever key you want to use for that action. I place mine close together so I can do combo moves more easily. Overall, the game is not that hard and if you think it is too easy you can make it more of a challenge by changing the difficulty. I scored it a 6 because all you need is a little practice and you will be fine, it isn't like street fighter or anything, it is easy!
I think this game is fun, and easy to learn which makes it addicting because you can pick up on how it works easily and then get good at it and enjoy it. I reviewed this game because I am a tmnt fan and I do enjoy their games, and I played this one and I quickly liked it because of how easy it was to learn and play. I recommend this game to tmnt fans and those who like addicting games that are easy to learn. I enjoyed playing and reviewing this game, it is another classic, fun tmnt game. I hope that all tmnt fans can enjoy this great game!

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - Tournament Fighters Description: The game features the original 4 turtles from the previous games in the series, as well as other fighters. The game is very much in the tradition of the Mortal Kombat or Street Fighter series, pitting you against opponents one at a time. Some fighters (besides the turtles) will be familiar, such as the Rat King, or even Shredder (now called "Cyber-Shredder" here).Though even people familiar with the turtles will see differences in them. They can now, for example, do moves involving projectiles, such as "fireballs".The game's modes include a story mode, where you can only pick one of the turtles and go on fighting opponents in order to rescue April and Splinter, and a tournament mode, where you fight only for the fame and money.
