Tekken 4 review SuperCrash64
The tekken franchise was 1 of the 1st 3d fighting games at the time. So back in like most early 3d fighters It would use old classic style polygons And be a great fighter. That you can make combos with by performing and hitting various buttons it would form many dashing and
killer combos during that time. how well does tekken 4 do compared to it's predecessors? Let's find out in this review
The storylines are newer and makes the game franchise have more of a serious point..,As in other tekken games It didn't involve no prelodge, but however it did always involve a classic and nice ending. Many characters come to cross over during these storylines. The storylines are epic and the endings are very nice and some are alerted versions of others. but there storyline is still pretty epic and nice
Graphics: The tekken 4 visuals are just...,Amazing! If you look at this game. You'll easily understand why some people may say This game has graphics like a 360/ps3 game. And that being said alone is very nice and impressive statement for what graphical things this game has to offer. The Sprites are Very good looking Like previous tekken titles each character has a set of costumes and the costumes always seem to change every time a newer tekken game comes around. As for the sprites they look very slick smooth and not choppy at all. The characters have a very realstic looking feel in this game. Although some parts are a little blurry The characters look great nonetheless. The Stages Are eh Alright in my opinion. The stages actually look really good and have a fair amount of detail. there are many awesome stages such as battling someone in a market brawl, and even fighting on a roof with glass windows on it is rather crazy and awesome. The only thing I dislike about the stages is they feel a little unbalanced, but they are still good nonetheless. Like Tekken 3 and eariler games this game has an a classic ending showing footage some ok, some funny, and some just epic.I feel the graphics of this game Deserve a 10 out of 10 rating.
Sound: The gang finally has voice actors at the ending. Some of the voices are really good and nice i especially like the people doing heihachi kazuya and basically all of the fighters, because there actors was well choosen. (only 1 of the characters are probably not gonna sound the same and that's heihachi The reason why is his voice actor died around 2010 so sad ). But anyways for this game the sound effects and voice samples are deeper more grinding sounding and basically in other words the sound effects are really nice clear and just epic. The soundtrack is ok during the time of tekken 4 The soundtrack started to loose it's great kickbutt feeling,if there's 1 song in this game that was actually worth remembering was the tekken 4 beach theme. other besides that theme alone the soundtrack wasn't all that good. Sound rating 8 out of 10
Addictiveness: I don't really Know why,but in general I didn't find Tekken 4 to be as fun and asuming as the previous tekken titles. That would probably be do to the soundtrack making the fun really just disappear for me. tekken 4 is still a good game and regardless a great tekken title. I would rate the addictiveness a 6 as I didn't really enjoy this as much as previous tekken games.
Depth: The Depth of tekken 4 is good and up to par with tekken 3 on the original Ps1. Tekken 4 has what you could expect An story mode a Arcade mode. Survival and tekken force etc. Regardless The tekken 4 version of the force mode was the most fun version of it I've played. As for taking to beat all those modes it would depend on you're skill like most fighting games would have you to do. So pretty much the modes make the game long and enjoyable. Depth rating I'm gonna give it a 7 out of 10
Difficulty: Eh slightly more Harder then the previous tekken games. The difficulty was not raised all that much for me that could just be how easy it is to learn combos with simple characters. But using characters like Jin, Law, and Hwoarang make it pretty easy to overkill and beat the snot out of heihachi and his bold head lol. Difficulty rating 6 the only difference I found was heihachi was a little more overpowered .
Overall Tekken 4 is a good game that has a great storyline and is very fun to play Overall rating 9.
