Sonic the Hedgehog 2 ross4587
This Sonic game is certainly easier in comparison to the Game Gear version. A wider screen will make things easier when Sonic is fighting the many bosses of this game, but now onto this version, a game which is a significant upgrade in terms of features, enemies, collectibles and level routes than its predecessor, Sonic 1. This time, Sonic has a new mission. In addition to trying to stop Dr Eggman's world domination plots, the mad scientist has kidnapped his best friend Tails, so Sonic must try to follow Eggman, freeing all the trapped animals whilst trying to save his young fox friend. Sonic must also try to collect chaos emeralds if he is to complete the full game, which will lead to a final showdown with Eggman. Victorious, Sonic and Tails will be re-united. Sonic's appearance is largely unchanged from Sonic 1, but Eggman appears much shorter than in the first game. Also, instead of fighting Eggman at the end of every act, Sonic will encounter robotic animal bosses that will have different skills and ideas on how to defeat him. Silver Sonic (not to be confused with Silver the Hedgehog) will be one of the bosses, and possesses skills similar to those of Sonic. He also holds the last chaos emerald required to unlock the final act, though if all the chaos emeralds are not collected prior to him being defeated by Sonic, he won't release it, and the game will end there. Overall, this game is a good one for all SMS players, providing challenging acts and bosses and highlighting the special relationship between Sonic and Tails.

Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (Sega master System) Review. Eddy88
Who hasn't played Sonic 2? It's one of the most famous games of the Sega's pet... It contains all the things for make it the best game of the saga: Speed (of course), Many Zones (in comparsion with Sonic 1) and a 2-player mode. Great game... But, what about his 8-bit counterpart for the Game Gear and Master System? Well, it's not the same thing. Pretty different of his 16-bits sister... But, The game is still great? Let's see...
Story: Robotnik, After his defeat in the previous game, is back, and he's searching for the Chaos Emeralds... Of course, with the objective of Take control of the World. And, to take revange of Sonic for ruining his plans at the 1st. game, he kidnapps Sonic's best friend: Tails. Now Sonic must find the Emeralds before Robotnik, rescue Tails and stop the Evil Doctor's plans again.
Typical Kidnapp cliche once again... So, Nothing important to say about this. (5/10)
Graphics: There's not many differences in the graphics in comparsion to the previous game. However, These are big when we compare them withe the Genesis/Megadrive version... Sprites are little, and the Background have less details and colors. (6/10)
Sound: Another big difference here... Music is very different of the 16-Bits version. It's even different to the music of the 1st. game... With some serious and darker songs. However, there's nothing special to say about it (Excepting that one of the songs is a 8-bit remix of the song "Sonic, You can do Anything) SFX are the same of the 1st. part... (8/10)
Addictiveness: Not a very addictive game. In fact,if you replay it will be because you didn't got the Emeralds in your previous gameplay, difficulty is another reason of the lack of addictiveness. (7/10)
Depth: Well, Sonic games doesn't have much of Depth... Just Running to the end of the Act. Some zones of this game include some Gimmicks that variate the a bit the gameplay, such as Hang Gliders, Mine Carts or Giant Bubbles... Things that variate a bit the gameplay. Not a bad detail.(6/10)
Difficulty: This game offers a pretty good challenge... An example of this is that you must fight bosses without any rings. Also, there's not Checkpoints and to play the real Final zone and battle the real Final Boss and get the real ending... You must collect all the Emeralds, which are hidden at Difficult to reach areas. So, as you see. This game has some high difficult. (8/10)
Final Rating: (8.9)
Maybe, for the eyes of the Gamer that Apreciattes games by their aspect... This is a poor quality game, But, for eyes of the gamer that apreciattes games by their Fun factor. This is a very good underrated game... a hidden jewel waiting for someone that could discover it. If you're a gamer of the 2nd. kind. You must try this game...
That's All.

Sonic 2 review (Contains spoilers be warned) SuperCoolBoom
Sonic 2 great game, great game, some people disagree I beg to differ it's pretty sweet, although it's a cliché that did the whole "friend get's captured gimmick" I mean it's got good game play. Yeah it doesn't keep you to interested it does for a while, you think it's all happy in the end as usual well not exactly. If you do not get all the chaos emeralds up to Silver Sonic the game will end with him. When defeated Sonic will run alone and after the credits he looks in the sky and see's stars forming Tails, which means he is dead (so cruel to the little fox). So you want to play the game ALL over again to defeat Robotnik and save your buddy. With the Chaos emeralds Sonic and Tails discover the are best friends forever. The End. To spoily? Well that's what I think. Good game. Sad and Happy endings. Bad story. Alright see ya all.
