An Intresting Warm-Up Act For NHL '94 acam
NHLPA Hockey '93 is the second game in EA Sports' critically acclaimed NHL Hockey series. It's not a steller game by bany stretch of the imagination, but it at least warms you up for the next title in the series. Anyway, onto the review. The graphics score an 8 because they're standard Genesis hockey fare, which is alright with me. The sound scores a 9 due to the expected great hockey sounds and beautifully composed music. For some reason, the main menu music made me want to cry (not due to the music being bad or anything, but I believe that it was possibly due to the beauty of the song instead). Addictiveness scores a 7 due to its fun gameplay and many ways to play. Depth is scored a 5 due to the rfact that beyond the 4 main modes, there isn't much else to do. I know that I rated Addictiveness a 7 because of the modes, but 4 modes can be a lot or a little depending on your way of viewing things. Difficulty scores a 5 due to a mwdium skill level shared with all Genesis hockey games.

NHLPA Greatness pensfan
NHLPA Hockey '93 is an addictive, fun, and pretty great game to play. This is a game that deserves to have a great honor from me. Those hard to beat teams in the game, you should really use. The graphics (for 16-bit) are a 8 in my book, and the sound is a 9 because it has a certain appeal to it. This is a fun, sometimes difficult, great sounding, awesome game to play, and I'd certainly play it again. I love NHL '94 and all, but this is a game that will be fun until the day I die, or until vizzed goes down for good.
