Best PS2 Game I've Played Titan127
Star Wars Battlefront II was by far the best game that I ever saw offered on the PlayStation 2 system, because honestly, nothing else even came close. Everything about this game is absolutely excellent, it really didn't have any flaws to be spoken of whatsoever, and I could keep playing it again and again and again without ever getting bored, just because it had so much to offer me.Graphics: 9I, personally, have never seen graphics on a play station 2 game that are as good as this one's. They're still very limited, but they certainly pushed the system to its very limits everywhere from the menus to game play itself. Even the guns are very much detailed, and it is very obvious even from the beginning that a great deal of work was put into this particular category, as even the largest of constructs, such as capital ships in space combat, have vivid and precise details, as does the entirety of every map. The only reason that I don't give them a ten in this category is because there are some glitches in the graphics in general. Not that I'm trying to take anything away. Even the shots from the blasters all have different colors, lengths, speeds, it really is an absolutely incredible feet of imagery, especially when the light sabers get involved.Sound: 10Absolutely phenomenal here. The sound effects of the game are immersive in and of them selves, with various sounds of different weapons, turrets, vehicles, rotating guns, the movement of walkers, it's all so absolutely wonderful, and it all sounds very much realistic, and as it did in the movies. But what puts this over the edge are the way that they threw in dozens of sound bytes consisting of different characters talking, either, from commanders, to the player giving an update on the battle, or from allies giving the player a warning. Often you can even here the enemy taunting your forces or ordering a retreat and the like. This creates an atmosphere that completely sucks you in to the game, and the experience of being on the front line of critical battles within the Star Wars universe.Addictiveness: 9This game will, I repeat, will, keep you coming back for more. I would play this game again if I had the chance, but unfortunately a certain female member of my family sold it along with my play station 2 while I was on vacation in another state. You will never get bored of Star Wars Battlefront II, of that much, I can assure you, whether you are a fan of the Star Wars franchise or not, you will not be able to put down this absolutely addicting video game.Story: 7Despite following the main story line of Star Wars from the end of Episode Two until the beginning of episode five, the game manages to throw in a good number of missions that either aren't so much as seen in the movies, or shine a lot more depth on some of those battles, such as those in Star Wars: Episode III near the end of the Clone Wars. It even puts a different spin on a few of them, changing them to better suit the game's needs and, over all, giving the game a somewhat more fresh experience than if it had kept an iron-gripped following to the main story line.Depth: 8In all reality, this game , while not having an expansive amount of content, does have a fairly large amount of it, and more than enough to keep the player from getting bored at any point in time, some of this even comprising of medals and awards that can slowly make the player's character tougher, stronger, faster, or more mechanically efficient, even, with these awards specializing to which types of weapons you use, which I always found pretty cool. There are plenty of maps and different formations in the space battles to keep you coming back for more, and it's a different experience in almost ever battle.Difficulty: 4While I probably could have put this lower, maybe at three, there are a few missions in the main campaign that give the player a good deal of challenge, and sometimes, when in the 'Galactic Conquest' game mode, the enemy can hold down the fort near the end with iron-ridged, stubborn pride, making it extremely difficult to force them out of it. It's really pretty easy to just pick up and play though, whether or not you've ever been into shooters, and offers a fun experience for new and veteran players. So really, this game is about as good as they come. If you haven't played it, you most certainly should, as this was an absolutely ground breaking title in the history of the play station two, and even now is one of the best games that I've ever had the chance to play. So pick it up, have some fun, and get to blowing up some battle droids!

GET THIS GAME TristanTehGamer1
If you like star wars i dont know why you dont have this game
Story: There isnt much of a story; there are two campaigns, The Galactic Civil war which kinda take place during events of Episode IV. The Clone Wars takes place during Episode 1 on the Invasion of Naboo then goes to the Battle of Geonosis in Episode II and ends after a few battles in the actual clone wars. The story isnt really much of a story and felt it was just there for the sake of putting a campaign in it
Graphics: graphics are great for the ps2 but they could be a bit better in my opinion
Sound: The sound is AWESOME most taken from the movies with the famous music from John Williams in the background of every match
Depth: There are a total of fifteen maps, there are three game modes:
Galactic Conquest: Choose a team and win aq game on a map to conquer a planet that map is in, Conquer every planet and you can rule to the galaxy
Campaign: 2 stories that the majority take place during the movies
Instant Action: Choose maps and put them in a list to play, just for good fun
Addictiveness: if you love star wars i can guarantee you will love this game
Difficulty: the game is very easy to pick up and play with little challenge
Overall the game is a great game star wars fans should own, and a game on star wars fans could enjoy
