Pokemon X and Y for vizzed? Not bad, but not good. Jermelle
This game is a very valid attempt to make Pokémon X and Y for vizzed. I have to say, I'm not very amused.
Overall:6.7
Overall, this game was okay but I wouldn't recommend it to anybody. I wouldn't recommend it to anybody because there are times when the game breaks for no reason and the Pokemon just randomly come in Mega evolution. This ruins a lot of the fun of the Pokemon X and Y game for the DS, also the first route is just loaded with strong Pokemon with low levels and that just doesn't make sense. There were some good aspects of the game, the story line is not changed much so that's pretty good. It's also a very nice try to put gen 6 into gen 3 form which is all we can really support here. Maybe he could have changed the sprites a little so they look like the X and Y characters. Anyway, onward with the review.
Graphics:5
Well, the sprites are not to bad but the game is loaded with glitches and mistakes. There are signs you can walk through without a problem, maybe the game should have made your character a ghost! When I was in the middle of a battle I threw a Pokemon that I didn't have in place of the Pokemon I tried to call. This doesn't happen too often but it does happen enough to where it can annoy you, also the Pokemon I threw had the same move set.. but a different Pokemon showed up on my screen. I suppose that's pretty bad but let's look at a good thing in this game.
Sound:9
All right, the sound was just like an average Pokemon game. That hasn't changed, the sound is still the same when you enter a route and battle Pokemon. I really like that even with all the glitches the hacker still took the time to make sure the sound was good. It's not easy trying to Rom Hack something and try to make it like Gen 6. Even with all this hard work, it sadly wasn't addictive.
Addictiveness:6
After you beat the game you can still wonder around and complete your Pokedex, but that's fairly hard considering that the Mega evolution are separate at times. Also, keep in mind the game is riddled with Glitches. It's really hard for me to ply a game that has so many glitches (walking though signs and buildings at times) therefore, I wouldn't really play it again. Which is a first for Pokemon and I, I always play even after I beat the game to make the perfect team, or catch the legendary Pokemon. I suppose if you overlook all the glitches, I would play it again.
Story:8
The story here hasn't changed much at all, actually it hasn't changed at all! It's just like Pokemon Emerald. That's a really bad thing, it doesn't feel like X and Y! The mega evolution Pokemon in the wild take the fun out of finding mega stones. In the 3DS version of Pokemon X and Y, the 3rd gym leader gives you Lucario with a Mega stone, but at the same time you can just find one in the wild. That takes a lot of emotions out of the player for working so hard and getting a very good Pokemon with a mega stone. This is good because at least we know the Hacker took a lot of time into thinking about this game, and putting it into a 3rd gen form.
Depth:7
The game still has a lot to offer the player even though the game is glitched. It's still like an average Pokemon game in that aspect, therefore it gets a higher rating. Take away the glitches, it'd be about a 9. The game itself takes a little while to beat and has a lot to do, you can still complete the Pokedex and that's always a Pokemon classic, this game doesn't feel much different than Emerald.
Difficulty:7
This game wasn't very hard at all. It's like Pokemon Emerald with the level of difficulty. The only hard part is getting lost in the cave, and that can get very annoying for anybody. The difficulty would be a 6, but since there are times when the game randomly shut down or froze on me for no reason it got a 7 for the glitches itself, that made it fairly hard to play it.
To summarize it up, if you can ignore all the glitches and just play the game you'll have a fairly good time, but the fact that most megas just show up in the wild took away some of the fun for me and it might take it away for you. It won't feel the same. I love the attempt to make a Gen 6 game come to Vizzed and therefore, I give the game credit. I knew somebody would make this someday and I was happy to review it. If the author patched up the glitches we have a very great game-Jermelle MacLeod

Not the best hack.... tgags123
I decided to try this game out after reading a review about it. I thought the review was a little harsh at first, but then I realized that the review was actually pretty accurate (though still a little harsh in it's ratings). Here is what I have to say about Pokemon X and Y.
Overview:
Pokemon X and Y is a hack of Pokemon Emerald that adds in Pokemon from the Kalos region. From the title you would think that it is similar to the actual X and Y 3DS games. It isn't. The things that change in this hack are the graphics, the Pokemon that are available, the story (sort of, not really though), the map (for lack of a better word. Basically the world and where everything is and how it is set up), and some other things. The major changes are the graphics and the Pokemon available in the game.
Graphics:
This was a tough category to rate, for me. The graphics look really nice. They kind of look similar to the graphics in Light Platinum. They are definitely a step up from the old Emerald graphics. They definitely look more like something you would find in a DS game than something you would find in a Game Boy Advance game. They only problem is, there are graphical glitches. Lots of them. You can see just by looking at the screenshots. Some of these glitches include a messed up door opening animation when you enter a building, being able to walk through signs, random things in random places, etc. So while the graphics do look really nice, the glitches make the game unappealing.
Sound:
From what I can tell, the sound does not change at all from the original Emerald music and sound effects. It does not use the music from Pokemon X and Pokemon Y, like you might expect. That being said, I like the music in Pokemon Emerald. So I decided to rate it an 8. The Pokemon Emerald music is very nostalgic and brings back a lot of good memories. So while the music is not changed, it still sounds good.
Addictiveness:
How likely am I to play this game again? Very unlikely. It is not a very fun game to play. It is very similar to Pokemon Emerald, only really random and with a lot of glitches. It is not a very addicting game at all. I wanted to play this game to at least halfway through before I review it, and I couldn't wait to get to the halfway point and never click the "Play Game" button again. I also played Pokemon Light Platinum today and yesterday, and I actually ended up playing it for hours without realizing. That is the difference between a good hack and a bad hack. I do not think that you will be hooked on this game. I know I definitely wasn't.
Story:
The story really doesn't change from the original Emerald storyline. You arrive at a new town, your dad actually exists unlike other Pokemon games, you go out on an adventure with your Pokemon and try to become the Pokemon Champion, while also defending the world from Team Aqua, who wants to flood it, and Team Magma, who wants to get rid of the water. I really shouldn't need to explain the story in depth here, as it is the same as Pokemon Emerald. If you want a detailed explanation of the storyline, read my Pokemon Emerald review.
Depth:
The depth is no different than in Pokemon Emerald. No events were added or anything like that, no additional side quests, no new areas to explore, etc. Pokemon Emerald does offer a pretty good amount of things to do, which is why I gave this game a good rating for depth. But there is no additional depth that is not already in Pokemon Emerald. Just the for the story, if you want more information about the depth, read my review of Pokemon Emerald.
Difficulty:
This game is very very easy. It is easy to obtain good Pokemon early on in the game, making the already easy Pokemon Emerald even easier. For example, you can catch a Torterra in Route 103. Lots of rare and powerful Pokemon are available, more than what is offered in the original Pokemon Emerald game. So it makes beating a bunch of Team Magma Poochyenas and Team Aqua Zubats that much easier. Not a hard game at all, and not recommended for people that like challenging games. Well, not recommended AT ALL, but especially for people that want a challenge. :P
Another thing that I want to add is that the learnset (the moves that a Pokemon can learn) for the Pokemon in this game are really messed up. They are no where near accurate, which really shocked me since learnsets are one of the easiest things to change. This just came across as lazy to me, because a quick Google search is all that would have been needed to get them right. I wasn't sure where to put this, so I just threw it in at the end here.
Pokemon X and Y is a hack of Pokemon Emerald that really disappointed me. The idea of the game has a lot of potential, but this game does not live up to that potential. I feel as if the game is not done. I mean the graphics look good and the new sprites look good, but I feel like the hacker gave up after that, instead of changing the storyline and stuff too. I do not recommend playing this game, unless you are making a Pokemon hack of your own and are looking for a good example of what not to do.
Thanks for reading my review! Please let me know what you think. Any comments are welcome, even if they are negative. Negative comments are my favorite actually, because they make me a better writer! Anyway, if you liked my review please go to the Pokemon X and Y game page and rate it for me! Thanks guys! See you next time!

Pokemon X and Y: Not a very ambitious hack. Miss X
I came to this hack, hoping to find something that resembled X and Y. I was disappointed. The plot was unchanged, as far as I could tell. The hacked in sprites looked okay, but the world had a lot of mistakes, like signs the player character was able to walk through. The towns were renamed to X and Y towns, but said towns did not look all that different from their Emerald counterparts. To me, the biggest turn off was the movepools of the hacked Pokémon. Fennekin started with Pound and Growl instead of Scratch and Tail Whip. Level 2 Espurr were using Psychic. A little deviation was expected, due to later generation attacks, but what I saw was highly inaccurate and unbalanced. Also, fully evolved Pokémon showed up in the wild. It was as if the hacker put little effort into researching movesets and trying to balance the game. I might consider replaying this if the movesets were fixed and the balance issues addressed.
