Interesting Hack   flyguy11
To start I do not usually play Emerald hacks because I do not like how there is so much more puzzles to go through. I am more of a training up my Pokemon and beating the E4 as soon as possible just to add the hack to my list of completed games. However, this hack was actually interesting and definitely more enjoyable than the original Emerald version of which this is a hacked version of. I had to go to google for the puzzles and to figure out what to do during different points of the game just because I haven't played Emerald in a while. This game is really good and fun to play and offers so much more than the original Emerald game.
Overall: 10
This hack deserves a 10/10 rating. It had different starters, great wild Pokemon, some pretty interesting map changes for certain cities and towns which held really cool "secrets: as the creator puts it, the E4 is changed up and is stronger than usual both with attacks and levels, and of course the champion..... 1 word of advice for the champion and that is to have a variety Pokemon team because the champion's Pokemon are apparently hand picked by the creator of the hack! Seems kind of scary and trust me it is.....
Graphics: 10
I absolutely LOVED how some of the graphics were switched around in this hack! Some Pokemon like my Blastoise and Charizard had really neat looking glows when you threw them out during battles! Blastoise had this blue shine to it and my Charizard had a red shine, both were similar but still pretty cool. Then the creator kept the cut scenes in it where you saw Groudon and Kyogre battling which was really epic and different! So graphics deserve a 10/10 because it was both better and considering the console it is under the graphics were great!
Sound: 10
Not much to say about this since the creator of this hack chose not to play around with some of the in game tracks. I however, like the fact that nothing annoying was added and made the experience with listening to the music in game more enjoyable than usual.
Addictiveness: 9
This hack had great wild Pokemon, interesting starters, cool map add-ons that were great and helped make training your team easier, and of course it had a harder difficulty but not enough where you do not enjoy the game but enough where it gave you a little challenge. Of course the difficulty curve from the last gym leader to the E4 and then to the Champion was a little more drastic than I would have wanted this hack was just great and fun! I want to play this game again before trying another hack just to make a whole new team! I thought it was genius to make an Eevee route in the game as well as have all 3 generations of starters available in the same routes right in the beginning of the game.
Story:10
Description of game:
Pokemon Final Flames is a hack created by Deadend136 who also made Pokemon G Version as well as Pokemon Double Battle.
In this hack your new starters are Eevee, Vulpix, and Growlithe. Now as all my fans know I always add the same held item for all of the starters and the held item is none other than the FIRE STONE! That means that right when you get your starter from the professor you are able to evolve it right away! Now why is there a boost like this so early on in the hack you ask? Well let’s just say your starters are a little under leveled and your rival’s starter is one that we all hate if you are a fan of the Crystal, Silver, and Gold titles!
Some changes in this hack from the original is a larger variety of wild Pokemon in the grass, in some towns and cities there are grassy areas with a surprise waiting in each, rival’s starter has an annoying held item, E4 is changed almost completely, gym leaders are stronger, the champion is the team I used when I played through the original Emerald and higher leveled, and even a few map changes! And you can battle through the Battle Pyramid in this hack like the original which only adds to the fun!
I hope you all enjoy my first non-beta hack I made and please rate even if you hate and feel free to add many screen shots because I personally feel that this hack is the best of my 3 I have out on here!
-Deadend136
So as you can see the story is pretty much the same but the hack included many different changes which made the story change a little more which was very nice!
Depth: 10
Usually the depth of Pokemon games in general is just getting a team, beating the gyms, destroying a criminal organization, and becoming the champion of the region. This tends to be the same way with many hacks out there now and very few hacks actually allow you to do different things. This hack allows you to do contests, this battle building where you earn prizes by battling with different Pokemon, and you are able to destroy 2 criminal organizations! And after that you are allowed to become the big champion so the depth of this hack is definitely there! (Almost went all the way to the master contest hall with my Castform!)
Difficulty: 8
i can't give too much away but this hack can either be the easiest hack you have ever played where you do not start with an over powered Pokemon or it can be very difficult if you do not cheat with training which is easy to do in this hack. I actually found a few players end up grinding there team of 3 Pokemon to level 40 before even beating the first gym! You may think it would take a long time to do that but really the creator made it so that if you hate training your Pokemon up you can do it very easily which still takes some time but it does not take you hours like usual. I personally before wanting to face the E4 brought in a 6th team member from level 3(It was a charmander) and it only took me an hour to train it up to level 50. So if you are a player who hates training for hours just to beat a hacked game this game is definitely for you!
Hope you all enjoyed my review and definitely check this hack out! Congratulations to Deadend136 for reaching over 2.2k plays on it!

Pokemon FF: My Review   SwordsgirlZ
I thought this game's overall rating is very amazing and great! The story is the same yet there are many challenges for the player! The starters were amazing and all in all full of variety for the player to choose from. With Growlithe, Vulpix, and Eevee as the starters, the player can get out of the noobie feeling and be able to change their minds of what to do for their team. I love the many pokemon Deadend136 has put in all over the region of Hoenn. It brought in even MORE variety for the player's team. For those who are uncomfortable around the starters given in the beginning don't need to worry. The creator has made it better by putting in the first 3 generation starters on the very first two routes! I have spoken with  the creator, and he has helped many times and told his fans and the players of the game tips, advantages, and secrets to the game. The trainers are stronger for those who are hardcore people who battle well and say they "PWN" the champ or think it was easy. As much as I would like to say everything that I LOVE about this hack, all I must say is that those who would like to try a Emerald Hack, I recommend this one in my Top 5. I have not been this addicted with a pokemon hack since Light Patinum, Flora Sky, and the original Emerald. IT's amazing! Try it out! You won't regret it.
                                                                                                      ~ Sincerely,
                                                                                                       SwordsgirlZ

Arcanine. Then after that I'm going to go to the move tutor and try to get ExtremeSpeed for my Arcanine. I have this all planned out. Now to do it!
StealStealer 01-06-14 - 07:42 PM
Right now I'm training to fight Norman. So far, I have fought against the speed trainer and nearly lost. So I'm going to try and make the rest of my team catch up to my Growlithe while at the same time making sure Growlithe is level 49 so it can become a

Ninetail and arcanine a lv5-55 movepool with atleast 8-12 moves. Ofc, anyone is going to evolve growlith and vulpix without thinking they can't learn anything decent until mid 40. Well, good luck. -Yngwie-
Yngwie 01-06-14 - 04:06 PM
As I read and gues.. you forgot to give arcanine a decent movepool didn't you? That also goes voor ninetails. I cannot play your hack atm. My laptoo won't allow me to use internet. My phone on the otherhand does. So, i can only response. I suggest giving

Sigh, why do emerald hacks never change that horrible player sprite?
Deadend136 01-03-14 - 08:29 PM
Before Norman you should have a team of at least lv.30 Pokemon :)
