Still enjoy the Mr. Driller franchise to this day. I've spent all of last year on Mr. Driller games - such as "Mr. Driller - Drill Spirits" for the DS. Took me 3-4 months (February- May 2020), but I beat it.

Someday, I'd love to play it (or Mr. Driller 2 or Mr. Driller G) again on a real physical dedicated machine and successfully beat it.

I've played the arcade version a lot at Boomers back in the day (say in 2006-2008) before they closed down. Got a little more than halfway through 5000m on my best runs and have successfully beaten it on MAME, no save states, on all difficulty levels.

This game is so addicting, I played this way back when gametap was still new and relevant lol.

Actually, I prefer this version over the other ones because the graphics are much sharper.
