Fantasy?I find it quite real... MitsuriZX
Fantasy War is a game in which you control Final Fantasy characters, and they have to beat enemies, level up,and pass through stages. This certainly doesn't sounds like a Final Fantasy game...where are the RPG elements? Well, you can level up...that's all. This game looks and plays a lot like Streets of Rage, except, well,it's a portable game. There is virtually no story, all you have to do is pass through the levels, then reach the final boss. And that's it.
You can choose from 4 different characters, and they play differently. The Warrior is adept at close fighting, the Black Mage is adept at using a variety of magic, the Chocobo is adept at running and dash attacks, and the Thief is adept at long-range fighting. All of those characters possess a special attack, which drains your MP bar,and you also have a sacrifice attack, which is really strong, but drains your HP bar. Use it too much and you will find yourself in a pickle. To execute a special attack, press v > then press your attack button. If your character is facing left, then do v < + attack button. Your sacrifice attack can be executed by pressing both the attack button and the jump button at the same time.
There is not much i can say about Fantasy War,except that it is a pirated game, but it's not bad.In fact,it's quite good. It doesn't has a terrible soundtrack,or glitched graphics. It looks just like one of those good retail games. Problem is,there is no multiplayer,so you can't call your chocobo friend to help you. I'd say, play this game only if you feel like it. There's nothing special in stock for you,but it isn't a bad game by any means. It's just that it is a regular game. A generic game,if i may say so.

Final Fantasy X - Fantasy War Review XxEzraxX
Final Fantasy X Fantasy War is a side scrolling beat 'em up game, and for a pirated game it is really not that bad. What I find really interesting is the rating that I gave this game overall I gave it an 8.5, but the things like addictiveness and depth got lower ratings but the game is still pretty good. Okay so the object of the game you must first choose your character, there are only four so don't think to hard about that now. The only real good character being the red guy, they didn't name the character, but off note you can be a choocobo which is pretty awesome. After that you must then go through level after level of doing the usual beat 'em up stuff, B button being your hit the enemies button. The game has a leveling system and appears on screen for you and you level up during your fights. There is another number however, that shows you how many enemies are on each stage. Which I find extremely helpful. And that is pretty much it.
Now since the exciting part is over lets get into the rating system. I rated the graphics and the sound an 8, for being styled like a gameboy color game the graphics and music where really good. The music is what really surprised me though, I sort of expected the graphics to look okay but the music usually sounds terrible on pirated games but this was really amazing, I loved it. Not as much as any other Final Fantasy music, but then again this is technically not a Final Fantasy title now is it?
As for the addictiveness I gave the game a 6, it was surprisingly good however, and I don't know if this is just me, but I can only play games like these for so long. Personally, I am an RPG type of gamer and almost every game that lacks these elements (or a story for that matter) I typically do not play for very long, but I do come back to every now and then. It doesn't mean I don't like the game, it just means I would rather play other things for a while. As for story, there is not one. Which I find kind of a bummer, because I think that if there was a story I might play this game a lot longer than I usually play. However, the story would have to be well thought out and would have to grip my attention from beginning to end.
As for the depth and difficulty I rate this game a 4 for both. There is really nothing that you get from this game, there are no hidden items (to my knowledge) and the game is not really that long or hard for that matter. And anyone who can sit through it long enough could easily beat the game in probably an hour or two. Then again what else did you expect from a game where you just run and hit B repeatedly.
Overall with this game I learned not to underestimate all pirated games, most might not be so good but others just might surprise you. I would say that this game is a good time killer, and can be quite fun the controls are simple and not sloppy like a lot of beat 'em styled games. And I think if anything people should at least gave this game a chance. I hope you enjoy your gaming experience.
