Backyard Baseball 2007 patar4097
Backyard Baseball 2007 for the GBA was a game I used to play all the time.
Graphics - 8 I didn't ever think anything about the graphics before, but they are ok I guess.
Sound - 8 The music for each person is awesome, and adds some more fun to it.
Addictive - 9 I would play this game all day as a kid. This was one of the best games I had on the GBA.
Depth - 9 All the different fields, different teams, and customizable jerseys for some teams. You can play it over and over again.
Difficulty - 6 I always played on easy and rarely got out on easy. If you go on All-Star, it will be a challenge. So it can widely differ.
Overall - 9.2Backyard Baseball 2007 is an amazing game still. I would highly recommend this for sports fans.

Backyard Baseball 2007 was the great ancestor of the previous Backyard Baseball and Backyard Baseball 2006 games that provided more than what I expected. Unfortunately, this game is almost a copy of Backyard Baseball 2006, which raises many questions. One of those might be, why would they not try to improve this game anymore? Is it just a ploy to make you spend money for almost the exact same game, or is there something we are missing here?
The basic premise of Backyard Baseball 2007 is just like others in the series; to play baseball with pros as kids. Unfortunately, though, this means most of the pros are overpowered as apposed to some other characters in the game. For example, the ratio of Albert Pujols to Vicki Kawaguchi in terms of stats is absolutely understandable, but prevents balance in the game. The main modes are also back as in 2006.
Graphics 5: The graphics in this game are absolutely horrid from my standpoint. If you were to look at games such as Pokémon and compare the graphics to a Backyard Baseball game, Pokémon would always win no matter what. The look that comes from the game reminds me too much of the original Backyard Baseball for the Game Boy Advance.
Sound 10: I really caught myself head banging to Vladimir Guerrero's theme song. Along with that, the songs for other players really are unique and have a nice vibe to them. An obvious ten for the game.
Addictiveness 10: The game is very fun and I find it hard to put down. I would not stop playing on the website until I had every person unlocked and had beaten at least five seasons.
Story ?: I ask of you this question: What story?
Depth 10: This game goes on for a long time. Even though you cannot beat the non-existent story mode, you still can beat endless season modes and unlock many players. This game obviously deserves another top score.
Difficulty 7: This game is hard, as long as you play on the right difficulty. If you play on rookie and you are demolishing teams 32-2, you might want to increase your difficulty to challenge that.
Now, I was prepared to give this game an 8.4, but this game fell for one reason. The game is too much similar to Backyard Baseball 2006. If I can honestly tell that the theme music is the same for each player, the characters have the same stats, and unlocks are similar, than I know something was not done correctly. For example, the theme music for Vladimir Guerrero is the exact same as in 2006, but the sound is just a little deeper. If the creators of this game had thought more about this game and considered the game might need some needed change, such as changing who to unlock and music, the game would be much better.
Overall, I give this game a 7.7 after the .7 point deduction because of the above. If you like to play baseball though, and enjoyed Backyard Baseball 2006, you might find that this game is the same, but you will still love the game anyways.
