m0ssb3rg935 : Actually, yeah I am! I had no issues for the last 6 months or so since I started playing on this site, so not sure why suddenly it started giving me grief, but I will surely find a new AV once my subscription ends!

m0ssb3rg935 : Awww, sorry that is my bad! I thought I had posted it there but I guess that's a fail on my end lol! Anyhow, I fixed the problem a day or 2 after I posted this.  It turns out that it was my anti virus that had been updated had starting blocking everything from Vizzed. Thanks for replying though! And in the future I will pay more attention to where I'm posting!

So, I tried to load a game this morning, and it requested a new plug in.  I have had no problems playing games for the last few months, then suddenly, it requests to DL the plug in. No worries, so I re-download the plug in.  It no longer requests me to download the plug in, but the games will not load. I have tried NES games, Intellivision, and PS games which I had played in the past. I hope this doesn't mean I am going to lose game data too! I haven't deleted anything from the Vizzed folders on my computer.  Any suggestions?

Thanks guys, I ended up going with Bandicam, and it seems to work great.  Easy to use too.  Played a minute or 2 with a few games and it recorded just fine with no glitches. Problem solved!

m0ssb3rg935 : I am running an Intel i5 processor (1.7- GHz, 2401 Mhz, dual core) with Windows 10, w/8GB of RAM. I am just clicking the 'start' button to record game play. A few times not only was the game play frozen, but my entire computer froze and had to restart as even Task Manager would not come up. Loud buzzing noise came out of speakers too.  My computer is far from weak and cheap. Not the best in the world, but a descent machine. Will try some experimenting with some other things tomorrow and will update you.

I am currently experiencing a problem while recording game play. It seems to freeze up while I am recording.  I was playing Ms.Pacman and the would freeze for 4-5 seconds at a time sometimes.  I thought it was perhaps the HDMI cable I was using, but it is still happening without connecting it to the tv.  Could it be my internet connection? If anyone has experienced this or has a suggestion, I would love to hear from them.

earthwarrior : Hi, and thanks for your info!  Unfortunately I plugged my old hard drive into my external hard disk drive enclosure, but the save files are gone for some reason.  No biggie, I will have fun playing those games again and getting back to where I was.  On the full screen issue, I figured it out! Ok, so I always plug my laptop into my tv with an HDMI cable to play games.  I discovered that I have to enter full screen (alt+enter) BEFORE connecting the HDMI cable.  I have no idea whatsoever why it makes a difference, but apparently it does.  I did it 10 times in a row, and every time I DO NOT enter full screen before plugging it in, I get the small non full screen in the upper left corner of my tv.  Hopefully this info will help someone else who is having difficulty with full screen in the future. Now, if I could figure out why my computer freezes when I try and use F6 to record, and figure out where screen shots are saved on my laptop, I'd be all set!

I recently installed a new hard drive in my laptop, I went from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10.  I obviously had to re-download the plug ins.  Does this erase my game data for any games I saved? I can't seem to retrieve the saved data.  Also, I suddenly can not get into full screen mode, whereas before all I had to do was hold alt+enter, as long as I did it AFTER I configured the controls in the game menu for that game.  Is this normal?

Vanelan : Actually, I wasn't able to map it at all, unfortunately.  I am having getting the Logitech software to work with my Windows 10. I'll try again later in the week to configure the controller through the game menu.  Moving this week so not a lot of time to get gaming in.  Thanks for your help though!

Beastmode64 : Thanks for your help!  I'm going to try mapping it tonight.  I am not very good at it but I'll give it a shot.  I almost have it configured for Night Stalker, at least I can move around with the D pad now, I just can't shoot anything, despite configuring the buttons in the menu to my game pad.  Under 'Game Configuration, I changed the left disc and right disc options to 'digital', and that is how I got the D pad to work.  I'll let you know!

Spiders. Always have, always will! I have had cobras, pythons, and other deadly creatures in my hand/around my neck, (at exhibitions and stuff), but spiders are the one thing I can NOT get over.  Probably because when I was 5, and my sister was 8, her and the babysitter would pin me down and dangle wolf spiders in my face.  I live in Canada and I am actually moving to Michigan on a green card in the next few weeks.  And there is a HIGH volume of spiders in the apartment where I will be living with my wife.  I think about it every day and I am FEARFUL! I am also scared of heights, and have dreams of dangling off the edge of buildings, or clinging to the edge of a mountain.  Ironically, I love flying and feel safe in an airplane.  However, I am less scared of a tarantula than I would be a spider the size of a dime/quarter.  They're more like an animal, although I know they are considered a spider. Probably because of their size, they can't as easily slide under a door like a recluse or a hobo spider. 

ZeeTee : Okay I see what you mean about the 'allow' button.  It totally worked! Unfortunately I have to re-load all my PS games, but whatever, it's no biggie! Thanks for your awesome information!

ZeeTee : Basically, after I install the plug-in, I always restart the browser, and try and load the game, but it still says I need to download the plug in. I also installed the visual  c++ and still nothing. I will try again tonight when I get home with Google Chrome and let you know. And thanks for your help!

I have tried downloading the plug ins 2.41, 2.40, 2.30, and 2.25.  Tried them with 3 different browsers.  Nothing seems to work.  Just looking for help on how to download a plugin that will work.

Thank you for your reply.  Last week when I was playing, the 'Compete for High Score' option was located above the 'Play Game' link, and it seems to now be located below the 'Play Game' link.  Sorry for the confusion.  Problem solved, thank you!

I am just wondering why I am not seeing the option to compete for the high score on some games.  For instance, Wheel of Fortune for PS, (don't laugh it is a fun game lol), Family Fued (SEGA GENESIS), does not give the option to compete for the high score. Same with Who Wants to Be A Millionaire (3rd edition for PS).  Anyone able to provide some insight on this? Even Night Stalker for the INTV is not giving me the option.

Good day all,

I was wondering if anyone who is playing the Intellivsion games could help me?  I am having an awful time configuring the controls on my game pad (Logitech F310) for the Intellivision games.  Specifically using the D-pad instead of the analog sticks. When I select the D pad buttons for Astrosmash and Night Stalker, there is no movement.  It is very difficult to play these games, or any Intellivision games for that matter with the analog stick.  Any help or suggestions would be awesome!

Absolutely it helps. I noticed that when I restart my modem it seems to help. A couple games actually did in fact  download in under six minutes.  And as Geeogree said, I went back and loaded a couple of other games for a second time and it was much much faster! Thanks to everyone for all their input I appreciate it!
