Vanelan : Monitor not the problem been using this one since 2008 and been playing games on vizzed since 3 years ago never had a problem with full screen until the new latest RGR plugin version update. Remember when I told you I ditched AVG antivirus for norton well the emulator was working perfect a few days ago on norton full screen and everything but only on the chrome browser firefox crashes as soon as I launch the browser couldn't even use firefox period. Now with avast everything on my computer is running smoothly again except the vizzed RGR plugin. Don't know what to do now. What about this disabling the hardware accelerator to make the plugin work on chrome is it safe to do it or will it cause problems with my computer. I ask because I get the black screen and no sound on chrome. I would try to disable the accelerator if its safe to do so.

Vanelan : So I got avast like you said and after installing it and running a full system scan I tried playing a vizzed game and it seemed to work until I tried going full screen using mednafen which went to a black screen then crashed. So the next thing I tried was uninstalling the plugin and reinstalling it but not the complete uninstall but the one keeping the settings. After that I tried again to play a game and same result. Something weird happened right before the install completed it gave an error message saying service loader quit unexpectedly if I remember correctly but then it said successfully installed. I don't mind doing a complete uninstall if that will make the plugin work. Please help. Thanks.

So I'm going to get rid of norton but would like to know if vipre is ok. I mention it because I did a little research and it scored the highest in reviews. If not that one then I'll probably go with avast since its reviews were good also and you recommended it.

I don't mind paying a small yearly fee for good virus protection but I don't know which is the best and most compatible with the RGR plugin. Any suggestions? Oh yeah I did verify that the norton antivirus was the problem by uninstalling it and after was able to play a vizzed game with no problems.

I have AVG anti-virus and when I updated to the latest RGR plugin

Weirdly enough it only happens with C64 games and those are my favorites.
