I have to say that I really love living in London
especially now
I have to thank the mods for stopping me playing online games on an online game website
because real life is amazing (I should be old enough to know better)

(tried to find a definitive video of black Sabbath at Hyde park, in London, that I went to on Friday

the brazian women dancing in oxford street told me James Rodriguez might not have been on the winning side when I got my night bus home from the bus stop outside hamleys in regents street (only after a few of us visiting "ain't nothin' but"
the best live blues bar in London (not just because I have played there, the reason I played the is because it is the best

Saturday, I watched the predictable world cup (it now seems ok to break someone's back)

today, (where ever you are), my continuing curse of not being allowed to play online games means I had to spend my afternoon on Henman Hill and watch the Wimbledon men's Single's Final between Roger Federer and Novak Djokavic
Please let the ladies know that there is a match going on!
The Pimms and the wine can be controlled

the continuing curse of living in London while being yellow seems like an aspiration means I will have to go to north London tomorrow, on my bicycle (and I will not be wearing yellow, well maybe )
I will go to the fan park, I will not be able to keep up with the cyclists, they are amazing

I did manage to see them when I was on holiday in St tropez a few years ago, and they are just so fast, do not get in the way!
le magnifique!

See you in Finsbury Park!!!!

The only trophy parade London will see this season!!!

I managed to get a ticket for a concert/festival called "Black Sabbath Time"
The bands I will be seeing are :
Motorhead,
Faith No More,
Soundgarden,
Wolfmother and, of course,
Black Sabbath

I have to leave now, not sure when I'll be back!

supernerd117 : You fell for my red herring clue, although there are canals with passenger canal boats in Venice, there are also those in Amsterdam too
In fact, Amsterdam in known as the "Venice of Northern Europe"

juuldude : Yes you have got the right answer, Carmen Sandiego was in the Rijksmuseum (the Dutch National Art Museum) and the Van Gogh Museum before making her way on a passenger canal boat towards one of the many diamond factories in the centre of Amsterdam
You managed to thwart her attempt to steal diamonds from one of the factories, well done

Now it is your turn to ask us : Where In The World Is Carmen San Diego?

legacyme3 : Belgium's time wasting tactics are precisely the types of unscrupulous abuse I was referring to
According to the laws of the game, USA should definitely have had more stoppage time and, when there is any time wasting during stoppage time, that time is supposed to be added onto the end of the fourth official's estimation (Belgium wasted more than half of the stoppage time taking a goal kick and that time was not added on)
You don't sound like a USA homer, football fans from all over the world (apart from Belgium again) were very frustrated and disappointed that the USA's honesty and passion for the game seemed to lose out to Belgium's cynical and underhanded tactics

I believe those extra few minutes could have made all the difference as the Belgian midfield were absolutely exhausted and it was wave after wave of USA attack after Julian Green's goal
I also believe that if the USA had got to extra time, Tim Howard would have been the hero in the penalty shoot out

legacyme3 : Julian Green's goal had the whole world cheering for the USA (apart from the Belgian fans)
The Jermaine Jones chance a couple of minutes later and the inventive free kick which resulted in a very good save from Courtois to deny Clint Dempsey had everyone jumping from their seats, it was just so exciting

When you say the stoppage time thing is bugging you, do you mean the extra time when the match is level at full time (90 minutes) ?
If so, that ruling was brought into the game to replace the previous system which had the captains of each team tossing a coin to see which team progresses to the next stage
Which would be an extremely unsatisfying and frustrating way to end a team's tournament

If you meant the added time at the end of each half of play, indicated by the fourth official as a minimum of, for example, two , three or four minutes
That replaced the previous system which was that the amount of time added for injuries, substitutions, time wasting by the leading team etc. was just at the discretion of the referee so no-one knew how long they had
Unfortunately, this system is still subject to abuse from less scrupulous teams so I agree with you, it could do with some further improvements

I believe the fourth Doctor is the best doctor because he invented The Matrix (yes really! ! ) 27 years before the movie with Neo in it
No other Doctor has done that

( Although technically speaking they have all done that as they are all the same person, just different incarnations )

In conclusion, all the Doctors are great, I like them all and still watch them all, even the movies from the 60's and 80's

TheReaper7290 : Sorry, there are no letter "I"s
supernerd117 : There are no whammies for you and no Drilbur, that is not the right answer

_ _ _ _ _ _ _

Wrong guesses so far : O, Voltorb, Pikachu, A, I, Drilbur

The poor Pokémon has not had one letter guessed correctly yet and there is only one guess left
Three guesses were wasted guessing seven letter Pokémon names when there are hundreds of them with seven letters in
Might be an idea to rethink your hangman strategy

For instance, if you think you know what the answer might be, don't just guess the whole thing straight away - instead, pick one of the letters in your choice (one of the more popular letters) so that if you did not get the right answer, then you still may have found a clue as to what it might be
And if the letter is where you expected it to be, choose another letter to be sure

Maybe the Pokémon can be saved next time
