So, I'm going into the hospital Thursday for surgery to try and remove the tumors and cancer in my lungs, now what I'm hoping for? May be a little much but, is there a way I can access my saved files on say Pokemon that are on my desktop, on my lap top while in recovery? If there is, Vizzed might just save me from going insane. If there isn't? Dave I beg of you to make this real!

Singelli : Hah, I spend A LOT of time RPing lately. So yeah, I had the free time to throw together a quick profile. Just be glad I didn't use my usual template, it's like a book.

You gotta be kidding, minion? Pfft not to no Army runt. You can be MY minion for free how 'bout that? Being my minion entails you to do everything I order, it can either be nothing, or it can be... Alright I'm not kidding I doubt I'd come up with anything for you to do... But I could use a Viz paycheck. Hmm....

|History|
Crap happens, this mans life is an example. He had a decent child hood, never got hit unless he really deserved it, had everything he needed. Never had a reason to complain, while his family wasn't rich they made it through the days. Hugo was a smart kid, but he had a smart mouth to go along with it. He had a love for fighting to rival that mouth. Eventually, it lead his parents to put him in several programs, hoping to curb that urge, unfortunately all it did was prove he was good at it, and drive him to want more challenges.

It was all good up through his schooling, little bits of trouble here and there nothing major. Until the day in high school when he fought for a good reason, defending his younger sister Monica, who was being harassed by a few upper class men. Hugo never saw it coming when he got blind-sided, but he didn't go down. After everything was said and done, the three upper classmen were limping away, and Hugo was being escorted in cuffs beaten and bloody, but refusing to say he was wrong.

He spent a night in a cell, but charges were dropped. Things changed from then on, his parents had enough. He ended up being sent to a private school, things were much stricter there. Even he was amazed he made it. When his father died from cancer however Hugo took a turn again. Going down an angry path, and when he turned eight-teen? He signed the enlistment papers. He was now property of the United States Marines.

He was off to Parris Island soon after graduation, it seemed this was what he needed, never had any issues. It was even recorded in a few personal documents it was as if he were bred specifically to be a Marine. He showed true ability, not just physically, he followed orders perfectly, and even inspired others. He was a natural candidate for leadership positions.

SOI was no different. Promise was shown repeatedly. Earning praise after praise. Hugo didn't seem interested in the praise though, he only wanted to move on. And move on he did, soon being thrown into battle like all other Marines. He proved himself time after time, even as a green horn. Through time he climbed the ranks, now sitting comfortably at E-6. Carnage was a part of this man’s life. But at least now he could help his men and still carry a gun. Admittedly however Infantry Unit Leader is not what he thought it would be.

Hugo got word his family had been pressured by the internal conflicts of the states, all but his younger sister Monica. He went home to see what he could do to help to find out his baby sister Angela was not permitted to leave home, the struggle of oil was too far. Then and there he cast himself from the West allegiance, taking up home with the East. Hugo in a way blames himself, though never shows his emotions on his sleeve, he however has been known to take moments to himself to reflect, and even write to his sister Monica. However as always Hugo keeps his smart mouthed attitude, many believing it a defense mechanism, and many thinking him a cold twisted sod. Who's to say what's true or not. One thing was known however, he was fighting for The United States, his family, the people… Even if they weren’t doing it for themselves.

Gunnery Sergeant Gregory Tetzloff. A great man, a brother. Every day I live is in memory of this man. If not for him I wouldn't have made it home. He wasn't as fortunate, gave his life serving, and following his own morals. He was far more than a Marine, he was the epitome of what a human being should be. His wife and daughter are still very much a part of my life, and I hope he greets me at the pearly gates when my time is up. It's men like him that made me proud to be a Marine, Oohrah, Semper Fi.

Eh, wish I could say congrats. But I know what it's like in this situation. There is no GOOD out from the military. You grow adapted ti the life it has molded you for. The good news is, you do grow more accustomed to civilian life. The bad news is, civilian life doesn't grow accustomed to you. Only advice I can really offer? Take it one day at a time. Even when it's hardest? Don't give in, push on, trudge on, fight on. Time is the key, and we have plenty of it. I wish you the best of luck, and if you need to talk or what ever? You got my skype. If I don't reply, it means I'm passed out I'll get to ya when I regain the ability to walk and all that heh. Chemo takes it out of me so I'm scarce, but when I am around? I'm just a message away for what ever consolation it is worth.

Razor-987 : Well that's another thing, you shouldn't use body soap, liquid or bar on your face. The oils your face excretes is actually beneficial not only in resisting acne, but keeping away blemishes and such. Too much of that oil however, from not washing your face at all, can and will do the exact same as washing it all away. My suggestion would be get a good face scrub, Clearasol or something of the like, it does the job with out removing ALL of the oils you need. Happy median and all. Other than that, the all in one liquid soaps? For body and hair? Will pull the natural oil of your hair out as well, which can result in dry dead hair, given enough time possibly leading to it no longer growing at the same rate or even in rare cases falling out from lack of proper nutrition.

And now you know, and knowing is half the battle! G.I. Joe!

My favorite thing about the Corps. would have to be the companionship. There is no stronger bond than that built between brothers in the heat of battle. Serving together every day and growing to know each other like no one else can.

My least favorite? The guys who thought they'd enjoy killing some one. I have a thought process on that which will never change. Any man who enjoys taking a life? I don't want him on my six. I don't want him anywhere near me. Other than that? Butter bars. Always think they are the greatest thing around till their superiors show up. Then they brown nose like you wouldn't believe, the second brass steps away? Right back to the genital measuring.

The title says it all! Happy Easter Vizzed! Whether you are a Christian, Buddhist, Hindu, or Atheist, happy Easter. Let today be known not just as the religious standing, but a day to welcome spring, a day to smile and get along with people we hate, and let's not forget the dread of hard boiled eggs that slipped under the radar and three weeks from now magically re-appear in your boots! To those with kids, encourage the Easter bunny. To those with out? Remember he's 6'0 tall and has an Australian accent, not to mention he's got rather amazing aim with the boomerang.

In all seriousness, I have to say my favorite part of Easter was always seeing the kids hunt for eggs. Something so simple brought them so much joy. The good old days right? How 'bout everyone else? What's your favorite part of Easter? Or least favorite if you hate it.

Well when it comes to collecting swords... I think I could be called a collector. Though it's not just swords, and not just collecting. I have medieval and melee weapons of all variations, and actively train with them, on my walls in this very room however I have 28 blades, the majority of which are swords, I would have to say my pride however is my battle-axe. Made not just for use as a axe, but it has a hidden blade in the hilt, great for training. The biggest issue I have however is finding full tang swords that can be used in sparring. All in all, I'd have to say my love for weaponry boarder lines unhealthy. I have everything from blades to bo-staffs to a few spears. And then there's the guns and bows. As I type this I'm looking into a crossbow as well. So yeah, I guess this is a thread for me ha.

I'll see if I can't get some pictures of them up in a few, always loved sharing them with the world!

I have many tastes, I like a girl with curves, but the first thing I'm going to look at? Is her eyes. I'm a firm believer that eye's are the gate way to the soul, and despite the fact I don't always pay attention to what I'm seeing in their eyes? I've yet to be wrong. Once I get past their eyes? It's how they carry themselves. If they have poise and confidence but not verging over to the more... Promiscuous side. That's extra. Personality however? Is a bit strange with me. I like girls from the cocky side to the timid. My favorites are the ones that show control but if you cross the line? You know it. The ones that for all intents and purposes? Are gentle and shy. The minute things get foul however? They are ready to stand their ground for what they believe in. Size and shape doesn't matter much. Though I will throw this out now... Toss the bones to the dogs, men want meat. One thing physically I'm the stereotypical male about however? A nice rear. Not too large, not too small. It's not mandatory however. Above all else? She needs to respect herself but have no issues being free and doing something wild and unpredictable at times. If she respects the military and is willing to stand beside me no matter what stupid situation I've gotten myself into this time? All the better.

Orion, to an extent I agree. But when you say they should buy their own land, all I can think is the extremists who scream "Send the gays away, we don't want them here!" I'm rather sure that's not what you meant, and what you meant was buy property to have their church or synagogue or what ever they call it. However my mind can't get around the hate of homosexuality for a fellow Christian because of something they can't help. Any one who has fallen in love can vouch, they don't control who they love, it happens. I had never intended to fall in love when I did, I loved that girl more than life itself. A man falling in love with another man? Is no different. He can't help who he loves. As I had said before, let God sort those he deems unworthy, it's our job has his children to love and accept one another despite not agreeing.

And that's where my involvement in this discussion from a religious stand point takes the backseat for a moment and my involvement as a Marine comes forth. Just as I may not agree with your right to slander homosexuality and disagree with it, or I may not agree with homosexuality if the case may be... I'll gladly stand and fight for your right to voice your opinions on it. It doesn't matter if you are gay, straight, bisexual, trans gender, or celibate, you are human. You were put here by God, to live your life. At the end of your life, he'll decide if you lived the way he wanted you to or not. But by hating some one for their sins, voluntary or not, you aren't living the way you were meant to.

Religiously, homosexuality may be a sin, it may be against the church, but so have a million other things that suddenly? Were changed, suddenly? Not as big a deal. Adultery is a sin, yet again, happens every day, by Christians and non-Christians alike. To be treated as a God yourself is a sin, yet as a Catholic, the Pope his regarded so highly he might as well BE God. Nothing is said of that. Working on a Sunday is a direct violation of the Ten Commandments, millions of Christians do it. Am I saying disregard the bible? Toss it aside and do as you please because it doesn't matter anyways? Not in the slightest. I'm saying stop worrying how others live their lives and worry more about your own. Let he who is with out sin cast the first stone. I promise you, no matter how 'minor' you call the sin, you can not cast the first stone. A sin is a sin yes. However by that same definition, love is love.

While I can't say I know the situations you speak of I can say I understand your need to step back, especially with the life style men like us have chosen. I noticed some one, can't remember who, that soldiers usually get their humor back quickly. That's true, but at the same time? Something has to bring that back. I'm not going to try and talk you into staying against your will, while I'd love to see you stick around even if just here and there, I know full and well, sometimes you need to step back, take a breath, and remember why you were there in the first place. I'm not sure why you first joined Vizzed, for me? It was the games. I had no idea the community was predominately Christian, and a little known fact is I'm a Roman Catholic. From the looks of things? The site is mostly Baptists, so there are a few times I see things that I'm just like "Argh!" And then remember while we are all Christians, we don't have the exact same followings. The reason I pointed this out? The site has many layers. Some great people I've enjoyed discussions with, the few I've had, and some... Well if they had a machine where I could send a smack to the back of the head through the computer? They'd get a lot of gifts from me.

As far as you go? You seem to be a pretty good guy. A proud Soldier, and rational. As said, I won't ask you to stay against your will. I will ask you to come back and keep me posted though. God's speed. Also, from what I've seen from you? You may not be a Marine, but your attitude has earned you Grunt status in my eyes. Oohrah, take care of yourself.
