Wow thank you for that information. It sounds like it's a good thing that Hurricane Lee did not touch land. What are the circumstances behind hurricanes forming and how certain hurricanes become larger than others and actually hit land?

I did not like Black and White all that much when they first came out. I just went back and played the older games over and over again. I played a decent amount of X/Y but never finished it. I actually enjoyed Sun and Moon, I thought they were more challenging than other Pokemon games which was a welcomed experience. I did not finish it however, just lost interest. I enjoyed Sword and Shield but also did not finish it haha. I got Scarlet and Violet and played through them with my brother and made it all the way through. They were a lot more fun than the most recent generations.

zanderlex : That is so cool that you are writing a book, have you already wrote one and what is it about?

There is a quote I heard recently that has impacted me: "A thousand mile journey begins with a single step". I think so many times we set resolutions and goals based on where we want to be instead of where we currently are. We want to go to the gym every day of the week when before we went zero times. I think setting realistic and attainable goals, such as one time a week, and building the habit up from there can prove much more beneficial in the long term. We need to know our weaknesses and limitations and start improving. Slowly yes, but still improving.

I graduated high school in 2016 and college in 2020 and, aside from what I need to know for my job, I can honestly say I do not remember very much of what I learned in school. I know that school is a drag most of the time but what are some subjects you enjoy/enjoyed that helped make the day not so bad? In high school I loved Social Studies, especially learning about World War II. Even to this day I will watch movies and read books centered around that time period. In college, I enjoyed my philosophy classes and film class. They were unique and a breath of fresh air from the more taxing classes.

tornadocam : That is such an awesome story. I know that meteorologists get a bad rep due to not being able to fully predict the weather at all times, how frustrating is that for you since you enjoy it so much?

I am an auditor for a relatively medium sized firm in the U.S. We mainly do audits for local schools and cities, as well as some banks, non profits and a handful of for profits. I have been full time for about 3 and a half years now and it has had its ups and downs but for the most part it is a laidback job that pays the bills haha. My main passion is getting to help lead the youth group at our church. I have loved the opportunity to connect with students and help them grow in Christ and help walk through their struggles with them.

Congratulations man! How has the wedding planning been going for you all? A backyard wedding doesn't sound too stressful but I'm sure it still has its challenges haha.

EX Palen : I know it has been about a month but I hope that you are feeling back to normal now. Did it end up being a cold or did you end up having Covid? I know when I have had Covid in the past I was super tired and had a headache, it seems like they have very similar symptoms.

I am about to take a bubble bath here in a bit and get packed for a church youth retreat I am helping to chaperone this weekend, looking forward to it!

cafeman55: Are you a casual watcher of Paw Patrol or are you obligated to watch it because of kids?

Dauntez : Do you enjoy all the Marvel movies and shows?

The last show I watched was Arrow. I enjoy watching it when I am feeling emotionally down, it's a comfort show for sure.

tornadocam: I hate to hear that for you all, do you live up north where it snows often? I was having a rough time being shut in with our week of snow a few weeks ago.

I do most of my shopping on Amazon now. I am currently in the process of revamping my wardrobe and dressing nicer but trying to take it one step at a time so I don't get addicted to online shopping haha. I did buy a regular light gray t-shirt when I was at my local mall a few days ago.

Barbie had a lot of fun moments (especially "I'm Just Ken" which I still listen to on occasion) and certainly had some things to think about regarding social commentary. I like how it helped both genders understand each other's struggles and frustrations regarding gender roles.

Oppenheimer however, was a different beast altogether and is certainly my favorite movie of the year (nudity aside). It was certainly dialogue heavy and I understand how it could be boring for many who want more action in their movies. I love the way the movie portrays Oppenheimer as someone who was simply in pursuit of the impossible and ambitious to make scientific history with little to no regard of the actual war itself, then once the bombs are used he is overriden with guilt and horror at what he has made. The way they depict his guilt feels so real and authentic and you can almost feel the insurmountable weight he is feeling.

MrKokoPudgeFudge: I hate that you had to go through that. I have a friend who has cold urticaria which is basically being allergic to the cold, do you know if you have that?

I have grown to enjoy cold weather more this winter. When I run in the cold I feel more of a sense of accomplishment and it makes me feel more alive even though some of my body feels dead because of numbness. It has definitely helped me with my seasonal depression during the winter months.

I am going to count "A Quiet Place" as Q because I can't think of any other movies with "Q" haha. There is supposedly a new movie coming out this year, last two have been pretty solid from what I remember so I will for sure be seeing the new one.

Next letter is "R".

Hey man I know it's been a few months but just wanted to reply and say that I am sorry about everything that has happened with your father. I also have struggled with feelings of abandonment and feelings of not belonging. For me I've learned that it's easier to deal with people who outright hate you but it's harder when people just seemingly ignore you, especially people you feel close to. If you ever need to talk to anyone please don't hesitate to reach out! How did your course end up going?

Hello, welcome back! I also made a come back post a few years back and then immediately forgot about the site lol. You're right it's tough to remember specific memories and people but there is still so much nostalgia when you log in to this site lol. Yeah I think hands down the worst part about the pandemic was not being able to see anyone and even if you did, you all had masks on which to me made it hard to have genuine social interactions. Is Covid still a big thing where you are living now?

It seems like my experience is the same as most people. During the beginning part of the week it's sunny with a high of 70 and then later in the week it transitions to slightly cooler weather and rain. Then on the weekend it's like 30 degrees and snowing lol.
