I love the battle against Goht in Majora's Mask. For me, it almost plays out like a mario kart game as you're rolling around, swerving to avoid obstacles. My next favorite is probably the battle against Gant in Twilight Princess because he takes you through many older enemies, with somewhat revamped moves.

My favorite Sonic track is Chemical Plant Zone from Sonic 2. I also love the theme from Aquatic Zone of the same game.

Mario Party! What a trip down memory lane; my sister and I used to play these games. The only ones we haven't played are the wii ones (i.e. Mario Party 8 & 9). I definitely have a soft spot for Mario Party 1, but ultimately i'm going with #2 because it got rid of the feverish 'rotate the joystick torture' games. Of course, its replacement of rapidly press A (or some button) isn't too much better, but at least my joysticks don't die! Mario Party 3 comes in a close second.

Definitely Empire Strikes Back.
Why? Because the bad guys win at the end of that movie. If anything, that's a potential life lesson that the good guys don't always comes out on top. Also, you learn a lot more about each character.

I'm surprised the original post didn't mention the star wars prequels. While there's much more I can say (I'm sure that applies to us all) about those, I'll throw in a different sequel.

The Sandlot! Awesome movie, but avoid the sequels. I'm not sure why I saw them, either. Even knowing that they can't live up to the first one, they still didn't match expectations.

Also, I didn't know there was a Home Alone 4

I think Ted is definitely worth seeing. If you like Family Guy, you still get Seth's usual humor all throughout the movie. If you don't like Family Guy, particularly because the episodes don't focus so much on story, then good news: this movie is primarily story driven (the comedy is there to tone down some parts of the movie). Either way, don't be quick to knock this movie down!

I'm guilty of listening to video game music too! Granted, I don't usually keep the game on, but rather, I look up a particular game's OST on youtube and just play that. I feel like you can equate this to listening to a movie soundtrack. The music is almost always wonderful, and it takes you back to that particular point in the game/movie/etc., plus other feelings that were evoked at that moment.

Most of the time, I throw on soundtracks for RPG games, especially if they're orchestrated, but as somebody mentioned above, Mega Man X music is great; it has a mostly rock sound.

Pentatonix are great! I only discovered them recently, it seems like they do a lot of medleys and covers?
I've mostly just listened to their medleys, like their Daft Punk, and History of Music ones.

I've mainly been switching between youtube, pandora, and spotify.
Youtube is for certain movie, video game soundtracks.
Pandora is to find new artists.
Spotify has some playlists, and access to lots of other music (but still lots of music they don't have).

Once I finish getting my cds ripped onto here, it'll probably be VLC, with a little bit of pandora.

Hopefully you started playing a game from the Final Fantasy series by now?

I'd say start with the 1st one since it's the most basic. Then from there, you could probably jump up to FF4-7 (FF2 is great, but 'leveling' is a drastically different mechanic in that game, and I've yet to play FF3 myself). All in all, every game up to at least FF10 is a solid title that is well worth getting into when you have the time.

Good luck!

My personal Top 5 Systems:

1. SNES
2. N64
3. Dreamcast
4. 3DS
5. Xbox 360

Yes, I do love my Nintendo systems as those were the ones I mainly grew up with. However, I have a soft spot for some of the others. I'd take good games over good 'systems' any day =)

My favorite Mario tracks come from Mario 64. I love the credits music that plays at the end, the theme for Dire Dire Docks, as well as the theme that plays on the Rainbow Cruise level (even despite hating playing that actual level).

When I was a kid, I played Doom 64 and Resident Evil 1. Those games had a tendency to make me actually scared. It didn't help that I had to play them at night because of the glare issues that made these games unplayable during the daytime.

All of the Final Fantasy games have such great soundtracks. I really enjoy the music of Final Fantasy IV, V, VI.

Some particular tunes from those games:

-Fight music against the Four Fiends
-Castle of Dawn (Galuf's Theme)
-The Opera music (Celes' Theme)

mrfe : Yes! You are correct. Ah, I mixed up my titles. FE: Blazing Sword (i.e. FE 7) did indeed introduce this franchise to the west.

RetroGamer9000 : Blazing Sword was released only in Japan. They have a translated version here, though.

Golden Sun: this is a great series! I've only played the first two, but it's definitely one of the better RPGs on Game Boy Advance. There are lots of hours of gameplay, and you have options in terms of customizing your character's moves/spells. The soundtrack to both those games are wonderful. Though I haven't played the 3rd one, I'd venture a guess that it's great as well, given how the first two turned out.

My vote is for Shang Tsung because you can play as everyone.

Other than that, I really love using Kung Lao. He has a fairly large combo and can teleport. I also enjoy using Mileena.

I love the FE series! You may have been able to catch me playing FE 6-8 on here. But anyway, the only ones I have played are Blazing Sword, Sword of Seals, and Sacred Stones (i.e. Fire Emblem 6-8).

Admittedly, I started playing Fire Emblem games pretty late. My gateway into the Strategy RPG genre was Advance Wars when that came out over 10 years ago. Since both series have similar gameplay, it's no surprise I continued onto FE. I look forward to playing the other games in that series.

One of my favorite scenes is in Majora's Mask when you play the ocarina and summon the giants. It was such a powerful moment as I was playing this game in the midst of growing up. The amazing music also helped.
