Who doesn't? Everyone has one of those days. You wake up, overcome with apathy, and you think to yourself, "I won't miss much", but you somehow drag your sorry corpse out of bed and make it anyways. Or you don't. Usually those days happen when my |

Love is a beautiful thing, and being homosexual is not a choice. A homosexual couple is capable of loving each other just as much as a heterosexual couple. And being homosexual is not a choice. If any two people love each other, why is it not okay for them to be able to marry? It certainly doesn't hurt anyone else, and they're happy. Two more people on the earth attaining happiness is an amazing thing. |

In addition to what I said in my previous post, I would also like to see Mega Yanmega (for the name), and Mega Torterra. Mega torterra would likely look like an ankylosaurus, and have increased defenses and Attack. It would likely be Grass/Rock. Mega Yanmega would be a good Bug/Dragon. Mega Porygon-Z would be great. It'd have even more Special Attack, increased Speed, and be a Ghost/Normal type. I'd keep Adaptability. Mega Slaking would be awesome. I imagine it looking like a larger, more menacing Vigoroth and losing Truant. More Attack, HP, and Speed. It'd probably be Normal/Fighting, with the ability Tough Claws. Sharpedo is in desperate need of a Mega. It always seemed like an incomplete evolution line. Metagross is losing its relevance in the competitive scene, and would greatly benefit from a useful Mega with higher stats all around. I don't think a single Unova Pokemon got a Mega in X and Y, and that seriously needs to be fixed in Pokemon Z. Unova pokemon that deserve megas would be Klinklang, Archeops, Gothitelle, Reuniclus, Chandelure, and Eelektross. Mega Porygon-Z would be great. Grandmaster Galaxy 's "The Perfect Run" from Super Mario Galaxy 2 had me stuck for a week. It is easily the hardest level in any Mario game. You have 1 health, there are no checkpoints, and the level has been changed to be even more difficult than before. Nothing in any other Mario game has even come close to the hair pulling difficulty of The Perfect Run. To put it in perspective, Super Mario 3d world's final level is like a tutorial level compared to this. |

From a young age, have her take a martial art. It will help vastly with her self esteem and safety if she can get to mastering it as a teenager. Of course, make sure it's a good martial arts school. tornadocam : Don't raise her pushing one worldview. No matter your religion, don't indoctrinate her with any one belief or set of beliefs. If she asks any questions such as how we came to be, tell her that different people believe different things, and to be kind to others even if they believe something different than she does. Let her choose her own beliefs. Kindle her interest in the academics, and make sure she's intrigued and engaged my science, mathematics, and the liberal arts. Expose her to a whole variety of different ways to express oneself, but don't force her into anything if she tries it for a while and doesn't like it. Make sure that she knows that she can come to her parents in times of need, that you care about her and love her, and that her happiness is very important to you. Let her know that she is beautiful and to not let anyone else tell her otherwise. Educate her about the dangers of the world. Of course, I have barely scratched the surface. I am only 15 and am not a parent, but these seem to be some very good things to do. tornadocam : Don't raise her pushing one worldview. Welcome to Vizzed board. You'll find all kinds of different of people here, and different beliefs are accepted and tolerated. I myself am an Atheist. The forums are always a fun place, and the sheer collection of games will never get old. Have fun, and don't break the rules. |

Jordanv78 : I kept my original post up to showcase my ignorance at that time. And I never said anything about graphics. The general idea of my original post was that linear mario games with a timer and a flag at the end are getting kind of old. I'm yearning for a more open 3d Mario, like 64, where you could get whatever star you wanted when you were dropped into a world. You don't see that anymore, with levels being unlocked in a linear fashion, and a timer and linear level design not really catering to exploration. Sure, you can take a step out of your way to find a star coin, but they're not very hard to find. I stated in my thoughts on 3d world that it was a great improvement, but the linear nature is getting old. I mean, they're releasing linear Mario games yearly. When Mario games were 3d, they took years to make and were really special. Only 4 games were created in a 3d fashion, and they were 64, Sunshine, Galaxy, and Galaxy 2. Each one got progressively more linear, with Sunshine starting the tradition of not being able to get stars out of order, even though there were some hidden shines in the levels and hub world. In the Galaxy games, the hub world has no stars in it, and while there might be a hidden star in one level of a galaxy, any level in a given galaxy usually contains 2-3 original level layouts, then rehashes them for a prankster comet or two. Galaxy 2 did have Green stars which added some sense of exploration, but the path was still rather linear. Keep in mind that in no way do I despise linear games - they are as great as any other type of game provided they're designed well. All I want is a more open Mario game that really pushes boundaries and shows what the Wii U can do, allowing large, sprawling worlds with complete freedom of exploration, allowing you to complete objectives in whatever order you wish. It really all depends on what sounds intriguing to you. Business English sounds extremely useful for anything you want to do later in life, and public speaking and debate would be a really useful class for if you ever need to make other people's opinions line up with yours. Anything spoken in the right way can sound convincing. Forensic science sounds cool, but are you interested in becoming a forensic scientist? Being a psychologist is a very well paying job, so if you take that class and you're interested in it, you could set yourself up for a good life. Astronomy is really cool and is a field that is advancing fast. If you want to make an impact on the progress of science, astronomy is the way to go. Also, if you want to take Astronomy, an astrophysics class would be a good idea (later, if it is offered). If you could, you might want to narrow the list down a bit by eliminating choices that you really aren't interested in, and keep ones that you're not so sure about and underline that ones that you're particularly interested in. Sakura Pryde : Mountains form due to plate tectonics. They're the result of the earth being pushed together and upwards. Fossils that were buried on the ocean floor were shifted with the rock, and were locked into place when the mud from the ocean floor condensed into rock. Fossils can't find their way into solid rock unless they've been there for millions of years, not several thousand. There is no way that they could have been embedded in the rock after it formed. When India crashed into Asia due to plate tectonics, the himalayas rose from the sea. The sea did once cover the areas where the fossils are found, but because they were shallow seas then. You apparently know nothing of geology. Seashells are not found in sediments that were not formerly covered by the sea. Also, floods erode mountains and deposit their sediment in valleys. And your supposed human tracks are not an argument. They have already been proven a a hoax, even though creationists still try to scramble to find some excuse. The man who made the discovery even admitted that it was a hoax. Look it up on wikipedia. There is no evidence for a worldwide flood in the 4.5 billion years after the moon was born, and certainly not in the 800,000 years of history recorded annually in the arctic ice pack, as a flood would have melted the ice at that time.
