No, I can understand, Apoc. I felt the same way about the Lord of the Rings before the movies were released. And I didn't read the Narnia books until recently. But I just saw the previews and thought, "Holy crap, that looks fantastic."

I'm surprised you guys aren't expressing any opinion whatsoever on questions 17 and 18. I would've figured they'd spark a debate of some kind.

And I know darn well that Square won't change genres for the Remake. It's just a poll idea, okay?

Accents are good if they aren't automated, since real people don't use a predetermined ending on every other word, and really, their accents usually cause them to say each word in a different way. (Frog's accent is an example of what I'm thinking of.) So, the latter choice for me. If Square-Enix put accents in but left it up to the scriptwriters to judge which words would need modification to show the accent, then that would be fine. Even better if the scriptwriters themselves talked in the accent they were trying to convey to paper.

We can pander to BOTH these demographics and combine their success together!"

Yes, I've read the books. They're great. But don't be fooled: the books may be short in length individually, but when combined they create a hefty page count.

I remember a long time ago when Disney made a live-action version of Narnia. I watched it on the Disney channel with my sister: she still has fond memories of it, but I don't remember it that well. Here's hoping this version of the series is at least as good as that one, if not better.

Upon careful consideration and lots of research in the form of watching the previews, I have formed a subjective, unbiased opinion of the Narnia movie. And that opinion is: YES.

Perhaps "Stoned_Man" is hotheaded. Or perhaps he's just nervous and excited since he's become a part of a really big project (let's call it the "Krono Triggur Remak Petitshun") and just wants to make sure everything goes well, since unlike a video game, he won't get a second chance to do things over.

But eh, what do I know?

I was hoping we could keep the site at least moderately secret right up until the launch. It would not only be a great surprise to everyone, but it might get us a starting burst of popularity. But with a leak like this, we might as well do the launch ahead of schedule, since what will be the point of not publicizing the site if everyone knows about it?

So...the message cannot be edited? *Groan* I guess we have no choice, then. I'll send that PM to ZeaLitY...

BTW, this "Stoned_Man" person sounds like a pretty smart guy. Probably very handsome, too. XD

Wow, something I just noticed -- Queen Zeal's hair looks exactly like Lavos's shell in that picture, with the front of her tiara forming the "head". I wonder if CuteLucca drew it that way on purpose? If so, it is a marvelous subtle detail.

Jake, I must remind you that darkening the text on the Home page is also extremely important. ZeaLitY might not mention us on the Compendium if we don't do that.

I thought you were just going to ask people for help and inform them that if they agree to help, then you'd PM them the site link! Don't just go blatantly showing it to everyone on the Compendium, that's the best way to get it out before we want it to!

Not everyone in those forums can be trusted to keep the site a secret until the launch. The only way to ensure that the site is a surprise on Launch Day is if we DON'T SHOW IT TO ANYONE. As it is right now, anyone who is in those forums (which is quite a number of people on most days) can waltz into that thread, click on the link, take a look at the site, save it to their Favorites, and show it to their friends -- even if they haven't agreed to help us!

True, this problem also exists in CTRP and here in the Vizzed forums -- we've posted links to the site in both places. But CTRP and Vizzed aren't nearly as popular as the Compandium, and don't have nearly as many registered members. Thus, the risk involved in putting a link in the Compendium right now is much, MUCH higher.

Luckily, not too many people have seen the thread yet, so there's still time to do damage control. But Apoc, you need to take down that link IMMEDIATELY. And edit your first post on the thread to say that you'll PM the site link to anyone who agrees to help us. I will PM Zeality and ask him to move the thread to the Kajar Laboratories forum (which is where all Fan-Project threads are supposed to go), since it'll get more attention there and will possibly attract more artists. But first you've gotta take down that link.

Well, here's the Glenn picture. It looks nice, but it has Cyrus in it...and would definitely cause an NPC fight if we made it available to the public. So if you want it made into a petition, Michael, it'll have to be for your private use only.

I think we could put a Lavos petition in the Extra Downloads thread without sparking an NPC fight. He's the main bad guy; that makes him special.

I betcha PS3 would get the most votes, just because it has purty graphics. And XBox 360 would also be popular becasue it is just now being released. But just imagine what stuff you could do with the Revolution's controller inside the Remake. Wave it around to slash with Crono's and Frog's swords, perform all those complex arm movements Magus does in order to cast his spells, thrust it forward to make Ayla and Robo punch, aim and shoot with Marle's crossbow and Lucca's gun...

And I also like to think about the possibilities offered with the DS's touch screen/microphone combo.
