Okay Third time's the charm ( I am a third child so of course it's true) My review today will be Pokémon Emerald a game that introduced great new Pokémon. Re playability, interesting characters  and above all else great graphics lets break it down.

overall: 9 Like I said up there great game. This is my second favorite handheld Pokémon game ( NO I don't like 5 or 6th Gen just because they aren't original in the sense like Pokémon yellow or emerald )

Graphics: 10  When I first played this game and saw all the new sprites I admit, I was completely blown away by how great they looked. I mean some games surpass these sprites easily (FF I&II dawn of souls I'm looking at you) but for a Pokémon games these were a real improvement. I know Fire red and Leaf green were on their way but Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald is where the sprites really hit home for me. These are still some of the best sprites in my opinion.

Sound: 8   I do not enjoy this music as much as say Fire red/Leaf green (All them references) just because some of the music didn't fit the town like Rustboro I think deserves a somewhat more erratic music taste so it's a bit catchier but it wasn't at all bad just not as good as it could be. Not emeralds strongest point but not the weakest either.

Addictiveness: 9    This game is Really addictive in my opinion. With all the new Pokémon, coming back and fighting the elite four with a different team is what gives Pokémon games their re playability. There are roughly 2100 different combinations to choose from. That'll log some major time and effort into this game.

Story:10    This is where the game really captures my heart. The dual antagonists in this game really set this Pokémon game apart from the rest. The main difference in this is the two major gangs: Team aqua and Team magma both usually wielding poochenyas or mightenyas (sorry if i misspell its 11:00 at night. The things i do for my fans) or sabot and golbats (depends on how far you are in game) Now what proves they are different are Team Aqua has caravanas and Sharpedos   and team Magma has numels and Camelrupts.

Depth:10    Since this is the first Game boy advance I've reviewed let me start by saying how much i love the Game Boy advance. The game boy advanced was the first handheld that let games expand in both color and size. The color capabilities far surpassed the Game boy color. As did the processing of the handhelds. These games could now handle larger processing power while at the same time reducing the size of the actual cartridge. This made (as I've said before) the game larger therefore giving more to do therefore giving it more depth as a game.

Difficulty: 7     While excelling in every other aspect the difficulty of this game fell a little flat it doesn't challenge me in any form, shape, or fashion. But i give it a 7 because i do know people who do have trouble with this game. It isn't Kansas that's for sure. I mean the psychic type gym leaders were difficult because i didn't prepare for them.

In conclusion. Another great game by game freak (GIMME 3DS REMAKE OF HOENN AND I WILL BE A HAPPY POKEMAN FAN) Worth playing definitely

Well second review   and of my favorite Pokémon game? Sweet! Lets see what this has to offer
Well this was the first game I played on a Game boy Color and boy am I glad I played this gem of a game. (disclaimer this is from and objective view  and is not influenced by my sweet love of this game sort of )
Graphics:9    The graphics in this game are amazing! For this era of handhold's. So far on this handheld 2 different sets Japanese: Red and Green. They had some massive flaws (Oh god the sprite of mew is forever etched into my retinas) They fixed MOST of them in the Japanese Blue version. They then translated those sprites to the newly translated Pokémon red and blue/green we come to know and love in America Then they had some minor flaws (go to blue or red and look at Golbat He looks like somebody from Kiss)  Then they fixed the remaining game breaking glitches in their smashing hit Pokémon yellow also known as Pokémon Special Pikachu edition.
Sound: 10 Two words: Vermilion city. People who have played any of the Pokémon games do know this Pokémon music is one thing above all: catchy. That's the whole reason for music in a game. To make you want to hear more I often find myself humming lavender town in my shower. The route music is catchy as well making you want to hear more and more until the next thing you know you are at the Pokémon league.
Addictiveness: 10    While not all Pokémon games will receive this high of a score Pokémon Yellow will always rank highest of games I love so dearly (don't tell majora's mask I'm cheating on her) This game when I got this at three-years-old, I couldn't put it down. I was glued to the screen. In fact my first words were "PIKA PIKA" ah those days were the best all you had to do was cry and suddenly wild game boy color appeared *claps* yaaay wish that was now, now all you get is yelled at for being a cry-baby.
Story: 7    Just because I've seen the story million of times. Not saying it's a bad story parsay just I've played Pokémon games so much I've already mastered that fiddle. The base of it is You are a 10 year old boy who has always dreamed of being a Pokémon trainer Suddenly it's your chance what a totally random happenstance. You are greeted by professor oak who asks your name and the name of his grandson (Alzheimer's perhaps?) Then you get a Pokémon, get a poked ex then set off to beat 8 gym leaders the elite four plus champion  then professor oak puts you in the hall of fame and then you are told to catch every single Pokémon (next to impossible). That's about it
Depth: 10     As I've already explained above it's a long storyline and I've logged as much as 300 hours trying to find an elusive Pokémon so I get 150 (never mew cause I don't glitch) That's deserving of a 10 in my book.
Difficulty: 8. I only say this because of Brock. Him being a rock type gym leader and you having an electric type pikachu without anything type advantages (Except mankey) It can get difficult if you don't level grind (for you who don't know it's staying in a certain area until all your Pokémon can one shot every single Pokémon on that route) If you level grind this games difficulty goes down to about a two. A better game for a beginner to the Pokémon series is Fire Red or Leaf Green A.K.A. The game where Game freak walks you through everything.
Overall. I would tell anyone to play this game all the way once. Great game, Amazing graphics, more challenging than most Pokémon games.

Well here goes my first review on this site

Graphics:5      While not the best it's not the worst. It didn't impress me one bit. I'm not comparing it to graphics compared to let's say A PSvista  game. There are some games such as Pokémon special pikachu edition that I love to go back too just to watch the different sprites.

The sprites seemed rushed and they should've put more effort into this game in general.

Sound:3   I do not like the sound of this game. To me it seems unfit for the game when playing Duke Nukem games I expect war drums something to get you pumped to go shoot everything that moves.

Addictiveness:3 I don't believe I will ever play this game again as there are plenty of better games (in my own opinion) on this same console. If it was made on the game boy advance they would've had a much better

Story:4  It tried to be funny but fell flat compared to other Duke Nukem games. The small beginning and very small ending leave you wondering why they were there in the first place.

Depth.Relatively long for a Game boy Color game. The side quests are few and far apart and in my own opinion uninteresting . Like I said could of been a really great game project on the Game boy advance.
Difficulty: 8     The game is hard. I'll come right out and say it. This game is moderately difficult with slow reactions between pressing the button and the action is delayed.
Overall: 3.9 What this game amounts to me is a game that I will never come back too and never want to but games like Final fantasy adventures or The game I'm playing as of late "Pokémon blue" I would play any day given the chance.

Why do people post unfinished A.K.A.  Beta versions? I know some people really want their games to be seen, but if your game gets say 50,000 views and complaints about it being beta why not just wait 2-3 months for you to finish an already good game? - sincerely poopadooper

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.

We prioritize the community over the site profits.  This is why we avoid using annoying (but high paying) ads like most other sites which include popups, obnoxious sounds and animations, malware, and other forms of intrusiveness.  We'll do our part to never resort to these types of ads, please do your part by helping support this site by adding Vizzed.com to your ad blocking whitelist.
