With all the hate on the new stuff, you're gonna hate my opinion.
I absolutely hated Pokémon Red and Blue.  It was kind of obvious that Nintendo and Game Freak had no idea what so ever what they were doing with is.  In fact, let's put yellow on that list as well.  If I wanted to play as Ash, I'd do it on my own.  In other words, Generation I is the absolute worst to me.  Also, the newer Pokémon got, the better it got for me.  Except I did like Gen III a bit better than Gen IV.

Personally, I definitely believe that Nintendo won E3.  They had a great show, just like last year.  Like last year as well, they introduced some new hardware in the form of the Wii U.  Odd name, I know.  If you did see what the thing can do, though, it is like an IPad that does 10X what a normal console and IPad can do.  Plus, they showed a lot of stuff for the 3DS that look just as good.  To me, everything went just as perfect for Nintendo as it could have ever been.

Even after seeing all the movies the week they came out and every marathon on ABC Family, it's still a really really hard choice. However, i'd have to go with the Goblet of Fire, for many reasons. Mainly because I like the tournament theme, and we saw many different characters so that the movie didn't revolve around Harry. Not a bad thing, but it's still a nice change of pace.

derek12max : Not lying, it's getting released in 2012, as in next year. So, no new console now, but they will be debuting it at E3 (Electronic Entertainment Expo) and giving details along the way.
If you don't believe me, go to any gaming website or magazine that has to do with Nintendo and you'll see.

Last Saturday (May 6th) I was playing Pokemon Fire Red. I had saved several times and checked to make sure the saves had taken, which they did. Let's say I started at Point A and saved at a point B. If i tried to reload, it would go to Point B. I then got to another point, Point C, and saved there. I then checked to see if it worked, but it reloaded and took me to Point A. I find this odd because it not only saved over my Point B, but replaced it with the old Point A. This is what confuses me, and I would appreciate it if you could, at the very least, look a little bit into the problem.

Another thing, ever since the recent server move, most games that I do try to save take somewhat longer and say "Save State Failed" even though it took and i could reload it. I'm not sure if this is a big problem, but I just felt you should know.

I picked ProtonJonSA cause he is who got me into LP's. If it weren't for him, i'd never know any of it.
Though, if I picked other, it would have been because of AzureBlade49, Vash12349, and UberHaxorNova

Well, TV wise, i'd say Super Buu due to his ability to not only absorb people better than Cell, but also because he's pretty nuts and i enjoy that in a villain.

However, if we're talking about movies, i'd give it to Janemba in a heartbeat. He absolutely destroyed SSJ3 Goku, not to mention Vegeta.

Undertaker will not be in the match, and might not even be at Wrestlemania. While i'd love to see the streak go to 20-0, I think HHH v Taker II(III?) will be at Summerslam, though it is possible that it will go to Mania.

Currently: I despise the Big Show somehow more than John Cena. He's just famous for being big, and his peak was WAY back. He's a fine person, but i just hate the fact that he seems more over than someone like Daniel Bryan.
Old: Hulk Hogan. If you've seen him wrestle and any part of his reality show or TNA now, he's a douche. He also doesn't know when to stop.
All-time: Tough. It's a hard one to give away, but i'd probably say Koko B. Ware JUST because he's in the HoF for being a jobber for his whole career. It's not like he did anything FOR the company (that I know of)

Let's put it this way: Casual games are games you can play without focusing much, and usually with little to no need to know controls. It doesn't make you think as much.
Hardcore is more difficult and has more of a point. The controls are a bit more difficult and it's usually much harder.

Speedic : But at the same time, they are the ORIGINAL Nintendo games. As far as i'm aware, all those were made before the use of terms like "hardcore" and "casual" were made. They were even made before the internet. So, they aren't what they are to get business from a certain group of people, but because of their lineage and what is expected of them.

Star Fox
Metroid
Super Smash Bros.
F-Zero
Pokemon
Once you've explained all those to me, tell me what a "hardcore" game is to you.

Recently Nintendo has announced that they are going to be releasing a new console some time in 2012. This console is expected to be HD and will have much more power than the Wii.
I have several questions:
What do you think it will be exactly? A Wii2 or a whole new system?
Do you think it will have gimmicks, and if so, what would you expect?
Would you be willing to drop your current console(s) if it meant getting your hands one one of these?


To answer my own questions (because why not) I have to say it will be a completely different console than Wii. It should be different considering it's amped up hardware. Not only that, but it should also focus on "hardcore" games, and most likely will. Nintendo says that they believe the Wii will still be selling in the thousands well after the release of their new system, and it will still be geared toward "casual" gamers. That leaves one option, and I am optimistic about it. If it did have a gimmick, I wouldn't be able to guess. I'm sure there is plenty that hasn't been done, but right now, i'm unsure. It will need something to keep it apart from the Xbox 360 (also may be getting a new console) and the PS3. Considering the only other console I own is a Wii, i would definitely trade up.

Anyone remember a show that aired on ABC about one and a half years ago called FlashForward? It was a pretty interesting show, where one day everyone was just knocked unconscious and saw 6 months into their futures. This lead to many plot points, and an all around pretty good show.
So, for those of you who have seen it, why do you think it was canceled?

If you were to ask me this a year ago, I would have said Web Soup. This was because i though Daniel Tosh wasn't the best of the best of people. However, now that I've actually watched the show, it is much better and way funnier than Web Soup.

That, and Chris Hardwick (Web Soup host [i think]) isn't very funny to me.
