So this idea popped into my head as of late and I thought, "why not put it up here"  What is a region run , you might ask? Well here's the gist.This is a way for me, as well as possibly you guys, to try and use some new Pokémon.  A region run is going through a play through of a certain Pokémon game but with these parameters. 

1.) you MUST keep your starter in your play through

2.) you MUST have a full party of 6 Pokémon 

3.) you MUST use Pokémon that are obtainable in the game you are playing, regularly, so no outside Pokémon.

4.) You MUST have a Pokémon that is either a gift Pokémon,or a Fossil Pokémon.

5.) Use Pokémon you don't often see yourself using, for whatever reason.

Once you complete a playthrough with these elements, post them here, include a rating and your thoughts on the Pokémon, I'll go 1st. ( you don't need to post moves, natures etc.


TEAM (for Sapphire
Swampert          8/10            A good tank with some very useful moves which can come in handy in certain situations, the fact that it had a 4x weakness to its rival was a little frustrating, as well as the fact that it was SO SLOW!!!!!! But overall , good show

Armaldo             6/10            It was ok, but it didn't really work well for my overall team. It's rock typing proved useful when fighting Norman, however. Even if its move-pool was horrible, it 1-shot May's Sceptile with an X-scissor

Manectric            7/10          In a generation that was HORRIBLE with electric types,Laxxus came through with fast powerful blows to all of the opposition, he was just , a little too frail for my enjoyment, getting knocked out by a hydro pump from Wallace's Milotic.

Exploud               8/10          I am actually surprised by this entry, Exploud came through as a secondary tank on the team, withstanding many a fatal blow. (read: he took a critical aerial ace from Winona's Swellow while being 3 levels lower) only complaint is its lack of attack, at least for my Lizz personally.

Grumpig             7/10         This was another curve ball for me, as its special attack won many  battle, its physical defense lost many( it was knocked out by a low kick, from a Machoke) however, I didn't give him a satisfactory move set to compliment its Thick Fat ability (as in, I should have given him a ground or rock type move to take advantage of his resistance)


Finally... Cacturne            5/10       yeah this ain't happening again, I decided to use him after playing Digimon Dawn again and then replaying this, seeing Cacnea and going "oh hey, a Togemon"  lets be frank here. It had poor defenses, lack of a very good move pool, and it was weak against almost EVERYTHING, it thankfully helped me out a lot late game in Liza and Tate's gym, as well as Wallace, but for the Psychic types I had Armaldo, and for literally the entire game after learning Surf, I had Manectric.

LunarDarkness2 : I have an honest question, and if you would respond I would appreciate that, but why isn't Wally on here? He is a rival character, 

but given my choices I'll have to choose Hugh from Black & White 2, he just seemed so interesting to me, it might have been the Purrloin back story they gave him, or just how he has a crush on Cynthia, but I just related the most to him

taterii : my favorite 3ds game , as well as possibly my favorite game of all time, is Kid Icarus Uprising, I love every single thing about it, (except for Hades Heart) the music. Amazing. The game play. Amazing. EVEN THE VOICE ACTING'S GREAT ( Hades is like my video game be)

jyounger : Pokémon sapphire for the GBA, I didn't have the console (GBA) so my dad bought it for me, he also bought me a game cube at the time because I had a copy of Melee, but sapphire was the game I played first , and I still own it to this date

The last game I beat  was Pokémon Fire Red , I was doing a nuzlocke and I managed not to lose any Pokémon during the Elite Four 

another game I beat fro the first time would be mega man Zero 3 , which I'm playing as part of the mega man zero collection

Petraplexity : I like garbodor from Gen 5, yeah I said it,

 I also don't like majora's mask , at least as much as everyone makes it out to be

I like MOST  of the new Gen sonic games ( haven't played the boom series, and of course the exception would be 06) 

and I'm fine with Scott Cawthon not opening the box in fnaf 4

I also think there needs to be a Steven universe game on a non IOS console

Zero Tails: My first experience with mega man, was mega man 1 on the game boy, I was five and didn't know how to play, so I quickly grew tired of it. However after watching quarter guy top 50 robot masters , I decided to give the series anointed try, and I loved it

Furret : Z is for zap cannon , a very inaccurate electric type move that can deal a major amount of damage

spenser1151 : my favorite type has to be the water type , there is a huge quantity of them that exist in the world of Pokémon so it's very likely that you will find it on most teams also i live in Florida so the water is like my next door neighbor

ZeroTails : okay then Topman attacks by shooting his top attacks and then charging me, I counter by sliding over the top attacks and then fire a hard knuckle right at top man before he gets in to his spinning invincibility state

and now you must face AIRMAN, YOU CANNOT BEAT AIRMAN NO ONE CAN DEFEAT AIRMAN!!!!

ZeroTails : I slide when shademan comes to grab me , then I use the wild coil to stun him and get him down to low health then I whip out a charged buster shot and BLEW IT UP!
