From what I can remember, the first video game I ever played was Microsoft Return of Arcade for my family's Windows 98 computer.  I played a ton of Pac Man, Dig Dug, and Pole Position specifically.  If you want to talk console games specifically though, my first console game was Columns on my dad's Sega Game Gear.

It was Tank 1990 on NES. Or was it Battle City on NES? I can't remember. It was a long time ago. All I remember is there were tanks involved. I think it might be Battle City because I vaguely remember there being an eagle. I remember I watched my father play this for hours. Then I tried playing the game, but I wasn't very good at it hahaha. I kept losing even at easy levels. I remember I played this game for hours and I sometimes played it with my brothers.

My parents were really heavy gamers. They bought a lot of consoles and I was introduced to a lot of games. They're awesome. Now new consoles are coming out. We recently got a PS4 this year and it's kind of sad cause my dad can't really play anymore because he has arthritis and staring at the screen for too long would make him dizzy. He just sticks to casual games like puzzle games or candy crush now :/ But waaay back then, He was the man. He beat a lot of games and played a lot of horror games. That's probably one reason I enjoy horror/survival games so much is because my dad enjoyed them too

My first video game was either Super Mario Sunshine or Spongebob Squarepants: Battle For Bikini Bottom.

I can remember playing for as long as I could both games. I still frequently play the both of them, that's how big of an impression they made.

Not counting educational video games, the first video game I ever played was when I was 7 years old. My dad showed me Pac-Man on the computer and I instantly got addicted to it. 8 years later, I'm still playing it and loving it Some of my friends play Pac-Man too, and some of them used to!

First I played was Super Mario Bros - I think.I didn't own anything myself until I got a Game Boy though first game on that was The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening.

The first game I remember playing was the Super Mario Bros/Duck Hunt combo cart. I remember playing against my dad, I could get to the fourth world, and he couldn't get through 1-2.

My first game was Twisted Metal Head-On for the PSP. I still remember playing outlaw while the battery was dying.

Pokemon Ruby for the GBA. Was 4 years old when I started it. Good times.

Mine was the NES that came with Super Mario Bros, Duck Hunt and Gyromite.  I also got Slalom that X-Mas.

I had two first games: Super Mario and Ice Hockey(NES).

jyounger : Pokémon sapphire for the GBA, I didn't have the console (GBA) so my dad bought it for me, he also bought me a game cube at the time because I had a copy of Melee, but sapphire was the game I played first , and I still own it to this date

Well this is going back a while but it was super tennis on the Sega master system.

Hm...before we had the mega drive, we had the super Nintendo. I say super Mario kart. I was tiny I didn't know how to play games. At that time my sister wasn't born. And my brother would play with my father because I didn't know how. Instead of asking to play I sat a learn the ways of how to play a basic simple game. And when I was ready I asked my brother if I could play. He allowed me and heck sure I wasn't all that good, but he taught me to be the best gamer that I can be of today.
