My choice would be Cyndaquil because Cyndaquil is the only starter who is super effective against gym leaders. Cyndaquil's fire type attacks are super effective against Bugsy, Jasmine and Pryce. Totodile and Chikorita are not super effective against any of the gyms however, teaching Totodile and its evolutions Blizzard can be very useful against Clair the Dragon Gym leader. I'm sure that Chikorita and Totodile can learn other TM moves to help them defeat the other leaders but Cyndaquil for me is the way to go.

Don't know if the picture showed up or not but the team is Onix level 42, Dragonair level 50, Vileplume level 48, Jolteon level 46, Charizard level 50 and Primeape level 47. This is my team for Pokemon Fire red version

Hey guys wolfbane69 here. I came to Vizzed about a month ago and the only reason I haven't posted yet is because I had no clue how all this forum stuff worked. But its all good now. My favorite games have to be Assassin's Creed, Pokémon (fire red and Ruby are my personal favorites), Fallout, Call of Duty, Mario and Legend of Zelda. I came to Vizzed one day when I was looking for Pokémon games. I own Heart Gold on my DS but my love for Pokémon started with Fire red and Ruby. My favorite Pokémon is Charizard.
