If you read the Lord of the Rings trilogy by J.R.R. Tolkien, then you'll most likely agree with me when I say that those were great books.

The game, not so much. I will be rating this game on a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the highest.

Game play

I will go ahead and say right off the bat that this is one of the most glitch infested games I've ever played. These glitches range from small just for fun glitches, to major game stopping glitches. At one point in the game there is a specific door that you have to go through to progress further in the game, and there is a glitch that freezes the game every time you go through that door (there is a way to get passed this glitch, but it's very difficult to do and not worth the time or effort in the ling run). You also have to be careful where you move, or else you'll get stuck. The combat system is also messed up. One: it's slow, Two: you almost always miss, Three: most of the weapons you acquire in the game don't work. The level system is very flawed. You do some thing as one character, and a different one levels up as a result. Lastly, the side quests are just unneeded.

Score: 1

Graphics

The graphics are okay. While you can see some of the scenery (and some are really good), you wouldn't be able to tell what some things are or which character you're using if the game didn't tell you in some way. Some things are just down right pitiful. For example, arrows are just white lines. There isn't much to say about the graphics.

Score: 3

Sound

The sound FX are awful, even for gba speakers. The music is actually pretty nice, when it decides to play. There are some games out there that are just as bad as this one, but at least those other games have music that plays.

Score: 1

Story

The only things that this game has in common with the book are the names of the characters and locations(some), and the basic story line (you must take the Ring to Mt. Doom and destroy it). Other than that, the story doesn't even come close to that of the book.

Score: 1

Length

Glitch-free, this game is short. You probably could beat it in a day. That's if it was glitch-free. With the glitches included, it would take you a lot longer to beat.

Score:2

Difficulty

This game is very hard to beat. This is mainly due to the multitude of glitches and the time and effort needed to deal with them.

The controls are bad and hard to get used to. This game is so much harder than it needs to be.

Score: 10

Overall: 3

This is the average score bases on the scores in the categories above.

What i did for fishing is I walked into the water a few steps, for example knee high, found the fish I wanted to catch, and lured close to me. It will take patients, but eventually the fish should grab the hook and if it was close enough to you, will be caught automatically.

As for the Lens of Truth, it does work in the treasure chest game, you just have to walk up to the chest and look at it using C-UP.

Like I said originally, there is enough beta content to make a stand alone game. If the beta content wasn't cut, the game would be larger than even some modern games.

Actually, they're still working on it and announced that it should be finished and released some time next year.

We all know about the final version of Ocarina of Time, but what most people don't know is that there were tons of game play elements that were cut from the game during development. There was enough content cut to make a stand alone game. Team Beta Triforce began what is known as the Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time Beta Restoration Project to make a fully working game out of the beta files. Personally, I love the idea. What do you think about it?

There's an atheist walking through the woods admiring everything mother nature had made. He says,"Thank you Mother Nature for the trees and the grass and the water and the fresh air". Suddenly a grizzly bear jumps out from behind a large rock and yells."RAAAWWWWRRR". The atheist yells "OH MY GOD!!!!!".

Time stops and God appears before the atheist and says, "You called?" The atheist says, "Yea I was about to be killed by this bear and I was wondering since your here, if you could stop the bear from attacking me?" God says. "Now why should I help you? You don't believe in me, you don't tell others about me, you don't do anything for me." The atheist says to God, "Well I'm not going to become a Christian any time soon, so if your not going to help me, can you at least make the bear a Christian?" "Alright I'll do that", God says. So then God disappears, and time starts up again. The bear gets down on it's knees, and prays to God saying, "Thank you Lord for this meal I am about to receive".

It really depends on who covers who. Dream Theater covered Metallica's Master of Puppets album. I have heard both versions and I think that Dream theater did a very good job, even doing parts better than Metallica. For example, the first solo in Master of Puppets began slower in the cover. Also, Probably my favorite parts of the cover was the song Welcome Home (Sanitarium). The intro and main riff was a little slower thus putting more emotion into the song, and the solo was hands down better than the original. Dream Theater really knew what they were doing when they covered the album.

However, like i said before, it depends on who covers who. Dream Theater also covered a few Rush songs, and they were terrible.

Some bands can cover some bands, and not others.

Vincent Swiftstrike : Thats true. So why  not make it so you can't mess with the cartridge during game play. Have something similar to the PS2 Slim.
You put the cartridge in a compartment similar to the PS2 disk drive, but make it so you cant play the game unless the compartment is closed off. Like the PS2 Slim, you cant play a game if the disk drive isn't closed.

Besides. I want to see what would happen if we take someone who dominates in games like halo and COD, and have them play a game like the original super mario bros. That game by definition is a hard game.

I agree that they need a comeback. Just think about it. There are memory sticks about the size an sd card that hold upwards of 4 gb of space.
If we can make something that small hold so much data, think what we could do if we put a bunch of them in a 3x3 cartridge. I think the combined space would be greater than that of the modern disk game. The fact that the cartridge will be able to take alot of physical abuse just makes it that much better.
