God brought my dad back from the Philippines  in one piece. I'm very thankful for that.

I only found out about this yesterday, but one of my good friends on here got saved recently! I won't reveal his/her identity, just because I don't know if they want people to know it yet.

Anyway, I'm so totally excited!

(BTW, I do realize this was a major bump. I'm just so happy about it, I had to share!)

I always have something to say in this thread, so it's a shame more people don't use it.  I have to hold back on all I want to say, because I think God does stuff for us EVERY day.  Even if the only thing we realize is that God woke us up.... well, God is present in our lives!

Several days ago, I was feeling a certain conviction heavy on my heart.  A new vizzed friend had told me about how he recently came to Christ, and was telling me about how he had witnessed to his friends.  He assured me that in his nervousness, he didn't know what to say, but that God put the words in his mouth.  As I thought about this, I began to feel a little disappointed in my own self.  I thought about how I really don't have much of my bible written on my heart.  If someone were to ask me in the middle of the street "Hey, is there a verse to support such and such an idea?", I wouldn't be able to give them a reference... and possibly not even be able to answer the question.

So on my way to work, I was praying and talking with God.  I was apologizing for being a poor servant, and asking for forgiveness.  I wanted to be able to quote God's Word instead of being so certain I can't!

Well, I got to the workshop still thinking about this and praying to God about it, telling myself that I would trust God to give me the mind he wants us to have.  I sat down and was immediately approached by one of the workshop members.  This woman has talked to me maybe three times, and always about school stuff, so she knows nothing about my faith or who I am. She handed me a wrapped gift and said "I saw this and it made me think of you."

Astonished and not expecting this, I slowly opened the tissue.  Inside were three beautiful bracelets with scripture on them.  The scripture?  "John 14:26 The Holy Ghost shall teach you and bring all things to your remembrance."  I didn't even have to look at the bracelet to type that.
