Maybe we're more like God than we know? For a very long time there was an idea of a male and female God.... not just a male one. It's very possible that that is true.

And the idea of male and female doesn't directly lead to porn is good. There are a lot of things that are used for both good and evil, human sexuality being just one of them.

The word used in Genesis is the hebrew "ALEIM", which is a plural word, and not specifically male or female. It's the "King James piece of ----" that translates it in the way you know and love, with strictly male deities.

Aleim with an M. It's the hebrew word (commonly pronounced Elohim or eh-luh-heem) which King James translates as "God" in the old testament. It should more appropriately be called "The Hand of God", or ideally "Angels" because the word is plural and corporeal.
Theos is what King James translates as "God" in the new testament. It should more appropriately be called "The Holy Ghost", or "Source" if you're into the New Age movement.

Would I have the word "God" struck from the bible? King James practically invented it. Do I believe in a bearded Zeus character who sits on a throne in the heavens? Sure, if that throne is the captains chair on a spaceship, as that's the only way that idea makes sense at all. See also, Aleim.

Am I implying Angels are from space? Consider the story of Sodom and Gomorrah. Two angels visit town, minding their own business. The town gang-rapes the angels, and then the town gets nuked from orbit. No justice more swift can be had.

well, I've heard multiple interpretations on what those 2 words mean so I doubt the argument will ever be settled as to what God is based on the Bible.
