Yeah, I think I won't be coming on here much anymore, if at all. After all the times I was banned from the forums, this is not a place for non-xtian people. For geeogree, you are just not the nice person people make you to be. I tried to be nice to you on more than one occasion and you just acted like a prick in response. For everyone else on the xtian forum who had a problem with my posts.... You need to wise up. There is not a magical holy place at the end of your life to make everything better. There is not some sky fairy watching over you to make everything OK. You have to make your life the best you can while you are in it.

And for DarkHyren: You have got to be the coolest and most open-minded person on here. You made me want to stay on here, but it is just a waste of my time.

Maybe I will be on here sometime, but like I wrote in my profile, I will probably just delete the bookmark for this site and forget it. It is too heavily xtain-biased and is just not fair to people of other beliefs.

Sure I do disagree with a lot of the religious talk, but I just find it easier to stay out of it and let them talk about it if they want to.

Well obviously this thread has no purpose other than to state how much you oppose Christians, but I want to respond to you non-judgmentally. If this life is all there is, the most you make out of it is going to eventually let you down in one way or another.

This might not at all have any significance, but I know of some interesting accounts of famous atheists' before they died. History tells us of the renowned French atheist Voltaire, one of Christianity's most aggressive antagonists. Speaking of Christ, he once said, "Curse the wretch!" He also boasted, "In 20 years, Christianity will be no more. My single hand will destroy the edifice it took 12 apostles to rear."

Yet on his deathbed, a nurse who attended him was reported to have said, "For all the wealth in Europe, I would not see another atheist die." Sorry to see you leave. The point of the Christian forum was never to offend anyone, it was simply just a place for me and fellow christians to chat about our beliefs. If you were offended by the Christian Forum and its contents, you could've stayed out of it. This site isn't a Christian site, just a site that happens to have a small place for Christians to talk about Christianity. Likewise, this place isn't a Pokemon or Final Fantasy site but it has forums for those as well.

Hay, I'm a Jew and I love this place. I don't mind Christians or any other religion.. I mean.. lets be honest, religions, tend to make people nervous and sometimes feel uncomfortable... I felt really weird around some friends for a long time, then I did some studying of they're religions and we get along better now that we are on the same page.

You have to accept people before people can accept you.

I'm nice to people who are nice to me. You showed up and were not nice from the moment you showed up. I was nicer to you as you became nicer to everyone. I'm actually surprised that you're leaving at this point since I can't think of anything you've been involved in for the last 2-3 weeks. But whatever. If you think this place is "too christian" or something then by all means leave. And if you come back I will be as nice or as mean to you as you are to the other members of this board.

Just because some of us believe in a sky fairy doesn't give you the right to berate us. I know that sometimes things do indeed seem one sided, especially where religion and religious people are concerned, so I can understand why you would feel that your personal opinions/belief are ignored/insulted.

I thought things were looking up for you here though, but I suppose you must have read something really offensive lately.
Though that is one reason why I myself try and stay out of threads with offensive people if possible.

I think you've got a selective memory of the way you were when you first showed up. Especially stuff that went on in the chat room.... but keep on trying if it makes you feel better somehow.

Um... I am not Christian... in fact I am Pagan. And a "liberal" and I have been posting here for years, and count Geeo as a good friend. Do I get into heated arguments here? Yes... but there is a line between debating and insulting, and while I have crossed it once or twice it has never been enough to be banned.

I think a bit of time off might be good for you. Give you time to reflect and cool down. I took a year or so off from the board once. Did me loads of good.

yeah, Bobby.... Elara is probably the one person who I can disagree with about nearly anything and yet we have become good friends because we have developed a mutual respect with each other. We do agree occasionally... but in spite of our disagreements we've managed to get along over the last 5+ years we've known each other.

You might find this hard to believe but I was starting to respect you more and more once you stopped going on and on about Christianity and being a victim any time anything happened on the board. But this thread came out of nowhere to me. I'm sure you had a good reason for making it.... but it's hard to respect you when you rant the way you are in here.

And yeah, taking time off from here is a good thing. I've done it a couple times before and it can make all the difference to how you feel when you're here.

bigNATE : actually, we haven't discussed banning him at all. He's leaving by choice.... or seems to be. Not much point in banning him.

And if he has a personal problem with me that's fine. I don't expect everyone to like me all the time. I treat people with respect when they treat me, and others, with respect. When you stop treating people with respect you stop deserving respect.

Well, we never intended for you to get hurt, you just stepped into the places you didn't need to go to, and you bluntly insulted all religions for believing in stuff.

It's sad to say, but you were horrible.

I tried to be nice to you, we all did. You just ignored it and called out the bad stuff and forgot all of the good things that happened.

You were banned for a reason, so that you'd learn your lesson and stop terrorizing the board. You didn't, so you kept getting banned. It was being done for the better.

That's all we try to do, be optimistic on everything.
