Well to be honest (sigh)
I dont like them.
Well, i was hoping the grass type would actually be the fire type.
But big let down. I mean a pig is okay but not so,awesome.
The water type is cool.Otters are EPIC!
The grass type looks the best though to me.
Zorua and Zoroark look BEAST!.
Maybe the starters well look better as we see their final evolutions.
Ratings:
Tsutaja (grass): 4/5
Pokabu (fire): 2/5
Mijumara (water): 3/5
Zorua: 5/5 (i like foxes :3)
Zoroark: 5/5

I've expressed my opinion on the quality of Pokemon generations many times, but it can't hurt to do it again.

I think that everything after the second generation sucks the big one. With the exception of a few (don't ask me for specifics, I don't know any names. My sister has a ton of cards though, and insists on showing me all of them) none of them are original in the slightest. Most of them are either a couple of older Pokemon mashed together, or just an almost exact copy with some new colors and patterns, and new unoriginal names. Now, granted, not all the names for the first 251 are totally original (Ekans springs readily to mind), but most weren't that bad. I hate all newer Pokemon, basically on the principle that they're just spinoffs of the older ones, to the point that I refuse to have anything to do with any media (I never watched the show anyway, and was never into the cards, so this is mostly about the games) containing the Pokemon after the second generation.

Thats actually how i feel about the rest of the pokemon after
G/S/C.
After that just spin-offs.
Wow you explained that easily.
Ya know just with bigger words.
And a longer story about a girl that shows you cards by force. lol

Agrees with ^^ (Hypermonkey)
Generation III was where pokemon really died for me, even though the games aren't that bad. They just lost the whimsical plot, innovative and original new pokemon, and development that the previous generations had. It wasn't terrible, I just didn't like them as much. The Generation III and IV anime didn't help much either, as I still don't like them nearly as much as the first series. I've observed that as graphic quality goes up, game quality goes down, and the fifth generation had some really good graphics. Hopefully, Generation five breaks the trend of graphics-plot, but I can't really hope. My dreams were already crushed with Diamond and Pearl.
The starters reflect a lot on the generation. We all loved the Generation I and II starters (at least I did), but there was a lot less love for Generation III and possibly IV starters. I really don't like the Generation V starters- they seem so foreign and plasticy.

I do not very much like them. The one looks like a snow cone and the other a snake that is unattractive.

The otter looks utterly ridiculous. The pig-rabbit is also lame. The snake is a little better, and might actually be cool when it evolves. The fox thing actually looks kinda cool. At least they don't look like robots with stripes and spikes, though they are just a very few of the many new pokemon being introduced.

Yea, I think we can all agree that anything after the first two generations is just attempts by Nintendo to make money. Though i must say the fact that they went farther into the realm of 3D then all the others does actually look really interesting. That is, if the screen shots I saw were real.

OK, first off, there are some Gen. IV Pokemon I like, and 1 or 2 Gen III... but I prefer the early ones as well. However, I still think that Platinum is the second best game in the series (gotta love Crystal!). But on the current topic:
Tsutaaja is my fave starter, not the best (almost a grass-type Charmander) but still pretty good.
Pokabu is lame . Fire pig? Really?
Mijumaru is rather... off. It's like they put more thought into cuteness than creativity.
Zorua and Zoroark, on the other hand, are amazing! I love their designs!

Well, I was never too 'excited' on new pokemon being added to the series, nor do I play the new Pokemon games much. But still, it's alright, I mean if the game came out and if I could buy it I would, I always like a new Pokemon adventure.

They're Ok, but not as good as the other ones. I always would say that some of the Gen III and IV Pokemon are indeed lame, but some are just rip-offs because, well, there IS a limit on how many animals/things in the world. I don't think there should be Pokemon games (with the exception of the spin-ofs like Pokemon Mystery Dungeon) after this, but maybe it's because I live in an area with people who assume that if a few Pokemon in the Generation are lame, every other Pokemon in that Generation is automatically lame.

hypermonkey : Yes, Ekans. It took me forever to realize it was snake backwards =/ I agree with you on the most part, too. But I still wish that some of the best Pokemon weren't in the third or fourth generation. The anime was dead to me after the Johto season. I collected A LOT of the cards, but no one in my area has any I only play the third and fourth gen games just to assemble a team of Gen I and II (occasionally a couple of Pokemon from Gen III or IV) and PWN somebody with them and to get Pokemon to Platinum to raise to lvl 100.
And I hope that you are including every Pokemon in Gen III and IV.
Best PKMN: Scizor ( I like everything about it)
Fav PKMN: Scizor
Most Creative PKMN: Deoxys (so creative with its changing forms, but since it's a legendary and needs something you get at an Nintendo Event, I will never have one )
Worst Pokemon: Dunsparce ( All I have to say is 0_0)

They should just end the show, they cant come up with anything worth looking at anymore, examples would be when they evolved alot of the first generation pokemon into fat pokemon. Most of the names are stupid. Its just gotten old to me really.

Personally, I don't like any generation after the 1st.
I think that the original 150 or 151(if you prefer), are the best!

Looking at the new Pokemon revealed the other day... I say the series has flatlined. Some of them are pretty decent, but others scream lack of creativity (I'm looking at you, Gear ). Hopefully though, the others will be better.
Reshiram and Zekrom, on the other hand, are epic! Typing is a little weird (Reshiram part fire, and Zekrom electric? wth?!), but overall their design is pretty good.

I Think that they look shocking, the Fire pokemon lacked creativity, as did all the others, apart from zoroark and the grass starter, that otter style water starter could have some interesting evoutions, but i think that this just proves that nintendo are running out of idea's, i mean really, "Gear" just reminds me of a bronzor, and that pink pigish pokemon?! whats going on there is beyond me!

They need to think the pokemon through before they rush the game out, the starters are the staple pokemon, they should be creative and innovative.
Im Dissapointed with most of them. The Zoro's look nice as does the Grass starter and the Water starter.

DavidLS : ...but a sarcophagus? I think that Nintendo and GameFreak are simply trying to milk the series for all it's worth. I mean, yeah, they're all weird in a way... but basing a Pokemon off of an Egyptian sarcophagus? Not even a mummy, just the sarcophagus? They've lost their touch.

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.

We prioritize the community over the site profits.  This is why we avoid using annoying (but high paying) ads like most other sites which include popups, obnoxious sounds and animations, malware, and other forms of intrusiveness.  We'll do our part to never resort to these types of ads, please do your part by helping support this site by adding Vizzed.com to your ad blocking whitelist.
