Last Day of Competition.

Well, looks like Min was indeed up for a good battle yesterday. I tried to get well-positioned in Blue as well, but I was unable due to going to sleep relatively early, and I couldn't place in Green for being so focused towards my guide and such.

I would have preferred to see my jerseys over the Gray banner, it looks quite dull over coffee. I guess I'll have to try my luck in January again, while I could try and compete today I'll still be going to bed early so Min will have enough time to position himself to earn enough points and keep the banner all for himself.

It's been interesting to pose a threat to the very end, though. Back when Min was like +70 points ahead of me it seemed impossible to get even close to him, but I actually forced him to come out of his cave to save his neck at the last minute. Coupled with fulfilling my goals for this TdV, I can be quite proud of what I've done during this month despite how busy it's been in real life.

Everything except gray and white (rip) is clinched. Good end to my 2 year long TdV stint. Undefeated in the Red jersey :3

Furret : Congrats on your 2nd TDV win as well as winning red 4 times in a row also yellow which I just now is definitely your favorite jersey. I hope you enjoy your retirement while I probably won't know when to give up doing TDV's.

I'm not sure who won grey since I went to bed early and it's not showing either Min or Palen as the winner but congrats to whoever pulled it off last night.

As for myself I'll likely be here again during next TDV after all I still have a jersey left to win now that a certain Boomer Pokemon is retired It might be a chance to go for it.

Furret wins the Tour de Vizzed!

This competition really helped put Furret toward the top of the Hall of Fame lists. He now has 2 TdV wins, 1 Gray Banner Win, 2 Yellow Jersey Wins, 1 Blue Jersey Win, 3 Green Jersey Wins and 3 Red Jersey wins. He's also #2 for total Jerseys won, top 5 for most total points obtained, and #2 for total Rainbow Banners as well as top 5 for each of the Jersey categories.

Also, I managed a top 10 finish without too much effort. I'm not too surprised but I was a bit worried about someone sneaking up on me in the #10 spot and not knowing about it.

I think the only threat to you ending up in the top 10 was me. I always seem to accidentally end up in the top 10.

I think this is the first time I've been around for a TDV and not ended up in the top 10, actually. Every other TDV I wasn't in the top 10, I wasn't on the site, basically at all.

legacyme3 : yeah, getting a top 10 finish is actually really easy now. I just sort of stuck around and posted a bit on a few days and scraped together 40 points.

Even when I won the TdV I still didn't actually put that much effort in compared to what people in the first few competitions had to do.

Well, like I expected, Minuano passed me on my sleep. Not like it was hard for him to collect enough points to keep the lead, but he still went for something yesterday with two jerseys.

I'll have a second shot at Gray when January rolls around. I'll have to check the memberlist and see which new active users can qualify for it and enter the fray, because I can apparently keep at bay everyone who competed up until now (unless they suddenly find the banner to be a special motivation to step in).

Congratz to everyone who participated. I clearly obtained my goals and even surpassed them, and I already have my sights on the goals I'll set for myself on the next one. Let's keep it up everyone!
