Mega Man X

Mega man X Review-SNES
This is one of the best Megaman games in my opinion. I think I preferred this rather than the PSP version. It's also one of the first Megaman games I've played. This game had so much to offer and I thought i'd do a review on it.

Megaman had some amazing graphics compared to other games on the SNES (*cough* "Bart's Nightmare" *cough*) the sprites were clean and the visual effects were much enjoyable for me. The level design was just amazing. They had objects moving in the background to make it a little more enjoyable and fun. Like the trucks they added moving in the background made it seem cool. Except the first time it makes you think your gonna get run over. But otherwise the visuals were just great so i'm glad to give this a 9/10.

The music was just amazing. That is all. It had such a variety of sounds depending on where you were. If you were in the beginning level (highway) it had intensifying action music that fit the level perfectly. The shooting, jumping and charging effects added much to the enjoyment of the game. In my opinion the sound had flaws on in some levels where I didn't enjoy the music like some of the bosses. But other than that the music was finely placed and made.

Because of the great level designs and just how much fun it is too play the levels the game is very addictive. I'm not sure how to explain it but it's like one of those games that's so fun too play you just don't want to put it down. I think it's just because of the great paced action and shooting that makes it so addictive. It mixes many things like action, jumping and sc-fi into one great plat former. In my perspective I think that's what makes the game so addicting is because of the great and unique level design and gameplay.

The story is a well thought out plot in my opinion. It takes one robot and his friends and takes law enforcement to a whole new level :D. When Megaman X came out it was a unique series and that's why a lot of people l... Read the rest of this Review
Yu-Gi-Oh! GX - Duel Academy

Yu-Gi-Oh GX: Duel Academy
This time I will be reviewing "Yu-Gi-Oh Gx: Duel Academy".

Now I myself am a big fan of "Yu-Gi-Oh GX" I watched the show until it stopped airing in English and so far this is one of my favorite games for it.

This game is for the Gameboy Advanced and is not much different from any other "Yu-Gi-Oh" game you've played but this has some unique features. Some of those would be that you can travel along campus and level up fighting higher ranks of students.

You can even take tests and get a higher dorm rank.

The graphics in this aren't exactly the greatest. The sprites aren't exactly clean. But because of the game type graphics aren't exactly a big deal. It's like an advanced slide show. The walking around the campus is just a bunch of pictures to me. The actual game play when your dueling is a grid where you can place cards. It's nothing much though. The game doesn't have the best graphics out of other games but it's still pretty decent.

On to the sound. The sound had a variety of cool music and effects. The cool monster sounds make the battle scenes much more fun. The sound plays a big factor in making the battles more entertaining and not just laying cards down on the field. It does it's best to make the enjoyment much better. The music when your just walking around is also nice. It's not intensifying it's just cool, calm exploring music.

The game will keep you wanting to try harder and harder to get better cards and ranks. You even have many side quests to do. But most if the time you won't know when it will happen. The game basically resembles actual life at Duel Academy. So there is a lot of stuff you can do in the game and it's not one of those games where you can just beat it in a day or so. It will actually take you quite sometime to beat everything in the games.

Like I said before it's no ordinary story. It doesn't have a proper plot or a protagonist. It basically resembles you actuall... Read the rest of this Review

Sonic The Hedgehog 2 Review-Gennesis
Today i'll review the incredible game Sonic The Hedgehog 2! Do I even have to say it this game was incredible :D! Lets get started

Graphics: If you look at other Sega Genesis games you'll see the graphics weren't as clean and nice as this one. The graphics in this game are one of my favourites out of all the genesis games. No joke! They are nice, clean, precise and overall just amazing for it's time! The enemies also had unique designs and all the stage were amazingly designed. I will gladly give the graphics in this game a 10/10 :)

Sound: The music in this game was just incredible! The only soundtrack that wasn't all that good was probably Casino Zone. But all of them are just great. The instrumentals is how Sonic should be now a days. Even the sound effect were great. The jumping and crushing the enemies :D. The music in this game is what sets it apart from Sonic 2 and 3 in my opinion. The sound in this game rightfully deserves a 9/10 :)

Addictiveness:this game is super addicting and fun. The stages are just so much fun to play. You even have a useless sidekick now -_-. But besides that the game really gets you hooked because it's just so fun and speedy. I don't know anyone who's liked this game and can't get enough of it. Once you start it's almost impossible for you to stop playing it! So obviously you know that addictiveness easily gets a 10/10.

Story: The storyline had no intro but most games on the genesis didn't. It didn't take you long to figure out that your trying to save woodland creatures and stop Dr.Robtknik from his evil plans. It's the same as the first one except you have tails to help you now. Don't get me wrong I thought the storyline was great but I thought they could have made it a bit different or added something to make it unique. But other than that the story was fine and I didn't really have much issues with it. I'll give the story a 7/10.

Depth: Now there wasn't really anything else to d... Read the rest of this Review
Mario Party 3

Mario Party 3-N64
For this review I will be doing Mario Party 3 for the N64. This game is a board game platform.

Graphics: To start it off lets talk about the graphics of he game. Now I must say Mario Party 3 is unlike any Mario game i've ever played. The graphics in this game are similar to the graphics in Mario 64 but it's like your looking at it from a sky view. The graphics were good in events like when you get power-ups and the mini game graphics were pretty good too. It can be a little rough sometimes but overall there was really no concern with the graphics for me. In fact I quite enjoyed some of the scenes. The graphics gets a solid 7/10.

Sound:The sound mainly comprised of effects. The music isn't really focused on. Don't get me wrong the soundtracks in the game were fine but I was more pleased in the sound effects department. It has classical Mario sound like when you enter a pipe or when you get power-ups. It had a great sound variety that really made the game enjoyable for me. Even the music pleased me it really added that zing to the play boards :D. The sound also gets and 8/10 for great effects and music :)

Addictiveness: I was surprised at how much fun I found this game. I was thinking a board game wouldn't be fun at all and I found out it's a super board game! This game is addicting to me and a lot of my friends that played it! The reason it's addicting is you can do so much in that game and you never know what's just going to spring at you and help or send you all the way back to the start. And the mini-games make it even more fun. It's great fun to play and compete. I don't know the exact reason why this game is so addicting and fun but I don't care. I give the addictiveness a 9/10

Story: Well basically the game starts with everyone in the Mushroom Kingdom arguing about who should keep the millennium star that came crashed down in the mushroom kingdom. Just then Latiku came holding a box. And in that box Mario Party the bo... Read the rest of this Review
Super Smash Bros.

Super Smash Bros Review-N64
Today I will be reviewing the N64 game Super Smash Bros. The game is a platform type fighting game consisting of a variety of stages and characters.

Graphics: The graphics in this game are somewhat impressive. It has nice very nice special effects and fight graphics. The fighting in the game was impressive graphics wise it was a 3D character design and a 2D platforming fighting game. Even today Super Smash Bros is one of my favourite games because of it's graphics. It adds lots of details in the game. So graphics are 9/10

Sound: I really loved the music in the game. If you listen some of the music will be from other games. And some of the music really fits the stages like Kirby and Donkey Kong. I was expecting okay music like most fighting games today don't have that much great music but the sound effects and music really impressed me. The effects are very nice and the music fits great with most stages and characters so I give it an 8/10

Addictiveness: I have to say I didn't find this game too addicting. I mean it's fun but really your just fighting the whole time nothing else so really unless you are in love or are a big fan of platform fighting then you most surely will be addicted but if your not then there's not much to be hooked on. It's a great game but it's not totally addicting. 4/10

Story: There really isn't a story line just fighting to defeat the master hand really. 1/10

Depth: Well considering there weren't much characters to work in I understand why there weren't much characters to unlock. But really there weren't really any special bonuses you could complete or any secrets I know of. But I guess you can complete different levels of difficulty but there isn't anything else or much you could do so i'll give this one a 5/10

Difficulty: Now people complain that the game is usually to easy and the only hard one is metal characters but that's probably because they've only played easy or ... Read the rest of this Review
