First impression review. AdorableCookie
With no description to the game, only three comments, no video and no review it is hard to decide if to play this game or not. So, this is a first impression review.
You play as Jessie and your rival is James. That's nice. The pokémon seem to be Pikachu, Lapras and Eevee. However, where it says 'do you want Pikachu", the image shows an Eevee. Where you are asked if you want an Eevee, the image shows Pikachu. This creates confusion. Your house looks like a Pokémon Center, but on the plus side the region has been redrawn. You can get a Dratini on the very first route, though that isn't really a big plus since Dratini is pretty much useless until it evolves. It takes ages to train and getting it this early on isn't appealing. The game did remove the "walk to the next town, get one item and then walk all the way back down" by placing the Mart right behind the Pokémon Center.
Instead of needing the HM move Surf, you seem to just "buy" (it's free in the Mart, but you do get it through the guy who sells items) a board and you sail on that.
I also just noticed that the first route has a lot of different Pokémon and at this point I'm "oh, it's one of those games". Where the Pokémon available right from the start are so many that you don't have the funds to get them all. I also noticed a wild Lapras right on the first route, making my starter Lapras feel not as special. The beauty of starters is that you can't get them anywhere else, they feel unique. This is ruined by being able to catch them. I can also recall playing this game previously and I recall the routes being very confusing with a lot of swimming. I suppose it is supposed to be based on the Orange Islands as the professor is Professor Ivy, but it feels a bit much.
So in short, the idea of the starters is nice, but a serious glitch early on ruins your hopes for the games. If the one who uploaded this game managed to explain it maybe you had hope for it, but the flaws are just one too many. Confusing route, too many wild Pokémon right from the start and glitches just destroy the game.
Please note that this is only a first impression. It's a nice idea, but it doesn't seem to have put through any testing. It was just created and left at that, skipping both Alpha and Beta testing.
