The Namco Classic collection contains three great namco games: Galaga, Xevious, and Mappy. However, that is not all! Also included is an "arrangement" or updated version of each game. Galaga arrangement features new worlds for the game, instead of the original space screen. Xevious sports some cool new music, and Mappy features dual screens for two players at the same time. Each game also has updated graphics as well as some new power-ups or items. Galaga has several power-ups that you get back from a tractor beam boss-depending on what kind it is. These include the wide beam, rapid fire, and ricochet. In Xevious, there are certain buildings throughout that will give you increaced firepower. Unfortunately, you can only power up once, but if you collect extras, you will get bonus points. Mappy features a trapdoor that slams your foes upward! So dive in and give this addicting arrangement a go!
