I guess I'm more of a heavy sleeper. It's really rare for me to wake up in the middle of the night, and I've slept through many alarms if they haven't been right next to me or especially loud or high-pitched. Plus I always have at least some trouble rising up in the morning, no matter how early I try to go to sleep. If I need to get up then I do, but if not, then I just keep on pushing the snooze button for the next hour if not more. I wish I could fall asleep as easily in the evening as I can during mornings.

I had Chinese vegetable wok with sweet and sour sauce plus rice for dinner about an hour ago. This summer I've decided to learn some basic cooking besides soup and macaroni casserole, so I made it myself. It wasn't actually half bad, plus it was fun to make. Except for the tear-inducing onions.

I  am usually very thorough when playing a game, to the point of sometimes going a little overboard. I want to do every side mission, level up my character/pokémon/monster/whatever as often and as much as I can, complete all missions with high scores etc. There are some things I find easier to give up, especially if I beat the main story line before getting all of the achievements, but normally during gameplay I am more on the perfectionist side. I like to think I do it to maximize my gaming experience, but then there are times when I just lose my nerves over such a tiny detail like not getting a higher score, which leads to me trying again and again and again... that's about when I start second-guessing my 'maximized gaming experience' theory.

Definitely. When I'm among people that I know well I can occasionally be quite the chatterbox, but otherwise I really tend to keep to myself. There are days that I don't utter a single word to anyone until I get home from school. Usually my quietness is because I don't have the guts to speak up when I have something to say, but I have to admit I'm not really one for small talk, either. Sometimes I have so many things to say or add to something I feel strongly about, but the words never come out, so I stay silent and just listen. I'm fine with listening too, but it really feels awkward at times when I know people expect me to reply with something, but I keep worrying about how I should word my response.

I watched the Godfather (the first one) yesterday. I had been waiting for so long to see it, and I finally did. I liked it, even though it was pretty different from what I'm used to. Today I'll watch the second, and maybe the third too, if I still have the energy.

I'm in 10th grade, so I'm in the first year of upper secondary school. Something akin to high school, I think. So far it's been a lot more fun than lower secondary (or junior high, whichever is more clear). I guess it's because school's not compulsory anymore, so the lessons and people are a lot different.

Yes, it's one of the most common physical pains I experience besides stomach aches, though I believe the reason for it is my tendency to get heartburn. It really sucks to have a sensitive stomach sometimes. Usually a cup of some hot beverage like tea or hot chocolate does the trick for me.

I've always gone to public schools. In my country it's pretty rare to be home schooled (or that's what I've heard, and I've never actually encountered someone who's home schooled), but if I ever had the money, I'd definitely do home school.

My favorite animal is a hedgehog. It used to be a cat for a  long time (not that I don't like them anymore, they're still very much adorable), but when I got introduced to hedgehogs by having one as a pet... well, I've adored them ever since. Even today when I walk past store windows and stalls that have hedgehog-themed things on display I can't help but stop and stare at them longingly... they never fail at melting my heart.

I started watching Katekyo Hitman Reborn! a while ago, and currently I'm in episode 124. I've also watched some Jigoku Shoujo Futakomori on the side, but my main focus has been on KHR. I don't think I'll be able to finish either one during Christmas holiday, but who knows, maybe I'll even surprise myself.

I have one blood-related half-sister from my father's side, but I seldom see her, so most of the time I tend to consider myself an only child... I've seen some people on this thread talk about their stepparents' children as half-siblings too, though, so if blood relation isn't necessary to call somebody one, then I guess I could say that I have a half brother and another half-sister in addition to the one I already mentioned as well.

I've lived in an apartment building as long as I can remember. And I think I will still live in one somewhere in the future when I move out to live by myself. I don't really need that much space, so just a small bedroom and other necessary rooms (kitchen, bathroom etc.) would be enough for me.

I always do my homework myself. I have a fairly strict moral code in this kind of stuff, though I guess it's not always a very good thing... I do let others copy from me if they ask nicely and if the homework isn't an essay though, it's just that I'm more concerned about my own personal performance.

I have both tapes and the player. Most of the tapes are borrowed from my friends, though, but I do own some myself... I have at least Alice in Wonderland and some recorded series like Digimon Adventure 02, which I have re-watched from time to time. My mother has a few tapes from her youth too, but they've been collecting dust in our TV stand's shelves for years now.

I have a PlayStation 1 and 2, a Wii and an Xbox 360. I see it really doesn't compare to most people here... but I'll just have to see what the future will bring.

After briefly looking through some of this thread's replies, I feel like I've been quite sheltered. I'm pretty sure I saw my very first horror film between the age of 12 and 13, and that was Child's Play. I actually had to convince my mother to let me watch it with promises not to see any nightmares, etc.. I found it more humorous than scary, though, so I didn't have to go through any restless nights.

Absolutely not. I'm not the best example of a good recycler, but I do try to remember to put my litter into the correct bins, take canvas bags with me when going shopping, turn lights off when I'm not in the room etc., those kinds of little things. As for the industry, I may not be able to affect their decisions on how to deal with their waste, but I believe that as long as this planet is still habitable, we humans still have a chance to change our ways.

Dumping rubbish in the sea or sending it into space... I don't really think that would be a good idea. I think there's a very good chance it would backfire on us sooner or later.

I'm travelling to Hungary, Budapest in July. It will be my very first trip abroad, and I'm really looking forward to it. I just hope everything will go smoothly with the transportation and accommodation.

I'd say I prefer teachers, but it's not like I dislike substitutes or anything... sometimes it's just frustrating when they have little to no idea what's supposed to be the topic of the lesson. There's a teacher in my school who is ill nearly every other week, so his substitute is quite familiar with the classes he teaches by now, including mine. The substitute's lessons are always really restless in the case of my class, so naturally people learn very little those times. The teacher, however, thinks that the class has actually covered the things he had meant  to during his absence, so he goes and makes really hard tests. That truly ticks me off at times.
