I PM'd my opponent twice. He hasn't been on since Jan 8. So looks like I don't get to play another round.

Looking forward to playing mac14, gave me some good games in practices before

I messaged my opponent twice. He's been on to view them but it still says "New" next to the messages I sent in the "Sent Box". I'm guessing that means he didn't view them? Either way I never got a message back or seen him in the chat (I also mentioned in messages I sent to meet me there to set up game quicker). Anyway, I'll be on tomorrow to see if he has a last minute reply to play.

Jordanv78 : Well I did this. But before I did so and before I logged back into vizzed he sent me a message saying he would play me this weekend =/

I guess he didn't read the post saying we only have until Thursday 12:00pm CST. I sent the message saying to meet me in that chat today and mentioned the deadline for Game 1. Since I replied, I've been sitting in chat and on his profile since I got home from work (around 3:30 'ish pm EST). Been there for a good 10 hours. He never got back on to read my message I sent him. I really tried to get the game in today since I'll be at work tomorrow and deadline will be over by the time I get back home.

So I guess it's going to end in a tie. Shame since I haven't lost a single practice game (one game ended in a Tie) against 4 different people and about 15 or so games.

Hope I actually get to play someone next round.

I sent a PM to opponent around 2-3pm today. Got PM back from him just 30 minutes or so ago. I replied within 4 minutes of his PM saying I was setting up the game now. He never came. I checked his profile page for about 10-15 minutes and said he was still online till finally it switched to him being offline.

I don't want a tie. I think I responded fast enough to get a game going. I'm hoping he PMs me back tomorrow before the deadline to get this game done.

Just a suggestion: you should allow all participants to use the netplay feature for this game over the weekend or a couple days before the competition begins to get some practice in against others.

Playing against COM will only make us better against COM.

To answer your question Ktanaqui, you would want to use JNES. I personally found that to be the best emulator for NES IMO. However, the one listed on the site bombchu posted, is terribly out-dated. I'd recommend going to Jabosoft (google) and get it there instead. Current version as of right now is 1.1

That being said, Pokemon Green was never released on the NES. If there is a version for the NES, it would be a fan-made ROM/Hack. The one that was released by Nintendo themselves would be for the GameBoy. If this is the one you are seeking, I'd suggest you use VisualBoyAdvance-M.

VisualBoyAdvance-M is exactly the same as VisualBoy Advance just updated with bug fixes/improvements. Seeing how this isn't listed on that website, here is a site where you can find the up-to-date (SVN) version of the emulator.

http://www.emucr.com/search/label/GBA?&max-results=12

NOTE: If you don't find the VisualBoyAdvance-M on first page, just go to the next page. It should be within the first 2-3 pages. Hope this helps

Here's my take on this site after playing with it for close to 20 minutes. Let's start with the bad.

1. Navigation: When I click "...ISOS" under "Main Navigation", it gives me a list of every single system. Same with ROMS. CD/DVD = ISOS and ROMS = cartridges.
Clicking Emulators give me a list of...games? This confuses me lol. I'm thinking PCSX2/ePSXe/JNES/etc. would show up.

2. This may not be "bad" but, no RESIDENT EVIL for PSX!
This being said, read the Good.

3. Where do I click on that site to learn how to become a VIP Member?

4. I download about 15% (around 80MB) of FFVIII disc one then stopped the download. It says on top of page I used 535.99MB / 750MB of bandwidth. That is false.

5. ROMS, ISOS, EMUS...Couldn't this area be like an interactive tree (clicking reveals sub-tree)? Kinda like this:

v Consoles
      > PSX
      > NES
      > Genesis
      > Etc.

v Handhelds
      > Gameboy
      > Etc.

I think you get the idea. This is really just a suggestion. I think what you have currently makes me feel like I'm scrolling forever just to get to where I wanna go. Eg; SNES. This would eliminate that imo.

The Good:

1. Tested download speed by download FFVIII (as mentioned) and speeds were nice. Highest I got was 885 KB/s but avg speed prob around 790-800KB/s. Didn't test with a Download Manager.

2. A lot of games. But still missing RESIDENT EVIL lol. Still needs a little improvement with games in a couple areas. However you will find just about anything your searching for.

3. Searching for games makes it easier to find the one you're looking for. Though the search brings up some irrelevant results in some cases.

Anyway, that's all I have to say. Idk if I answered any of your questions but just wanted to share my thoughts. Clicked a couple ads to support the site a tad. GL with the site
