I am trying to get the last two online trophies for Guitar Hero Live before the GHTV servers shut down in December. A million strums and a 1,000-note streak is so much work. :/

But so worth it! Platinum Trophy here I come!

It's not necessarily an issue, but I did notice that both my profile picture and the tiny mario gif by my username disappeared and I have had them since I signed up and didn't update anything on my profile since I returned to being active. It was there when I logged in last (before 10/3) and I do not know if it's just me or if it has happened to anybody else too. I'd figure I would mention it here just in case it might be related somehow seeing that images might be affected because of the change.

jcole : Can you specify who you are talking to or what you meant by what you said? I am not trying to sound mean or anything either, but I think your comment is unrelated to this thread and possibly against the rules of the forum as well.

And forgive me if this comment is out of bounds, but telling a stranger that you don't even know "to get a life" and that what they are doing "ain't healthy" is just plain messed up. People go through stuff that you may never imagine happening to you and sometimes you got to be very mindful of what you say and how you say it.

And if you must know, I do have a life with a ton of EXP and my health bar is full according to my doctor. I'm at Level 26 in this game we call life and I have mastered the difficult skill known as Adulting IRL.

Holy Snapples, Sonniku! (Forgive me, I am still trying to get used to the site again after so long. Otherwise, I would summon you.)

I was going to say the same about you! We always miss each other by smidgen of a time frame! I will PM you to catch up.

Also, just to make sure I don't break rules and try to stay on topic on this thread, I remembered a few names when roaming the site the other day and wanted to mention them here: Juliet and Leggy. I remember them being in the Crazy House with me often. If y'all are reading this, I hope you remember me. Hahaha.

This thread is starting to kick my nostalgia into high gear and I am remembering a lot more stuff now. :3

P.S.- So that I may stop feeling like an old-timer and be "with the times" as they say, can anybody lead me to the direction of how to summon people and other updates from the last few years so that I don't continue to act like a newbie? I am finally getting into the habit of being active on here, but I am only able to do it in spurts and don't have much time to search it myself. I promise I am not being lazy. Dx
Please and thank you guys!

Interesting review. This was one of my go-to's as a kid and you analysis of it makes sense.

I also just wanted to throw in the not-so-fun fact that Kirby's Avalanche is a copy of this game, but I prefer Dr.Robotnik better due to sentimental bias. Hahaha.

Thanks guys! I appreciate it.

I am going to try my best to post often, I am a little bummed to notice that almost all the Crazy House threads are closed though. :/ But I understand why.

I'll be roaming around a bit and see who else I recognize. I kind of remember you LightKnight, I think you may have helped me with some emulator issues a long while back. And thanks no_8120, I will try my best to stay.

Hey y'all,
It's been a whole year since my last returning post. (I don't remember how to link posts, but I am sure you'll find it on my profile somewhere.)

I just wanted to make this a short and sweet post despite that I have a lot to say. It's been nine years since I signed-up here and around that time it was the Golden Age of Vizzed. At a time where life was both lonely and tough, this site kept me company and was the distraction I needed. I was a Trusted Member at one point, and the Crazy House was my go to for posts. My memory has been kind of failing the last few years so I have a hard time remembering those I constantly spoke to, otherwise I would have mentioned them here. But I am sure they remember me by my profile pic or I might remember them if they post here.

At any rate, I finally have fixed my computer and figured I pay the ol' site a visit. I was told last year that visits and posts were on the severe decline, and I feared that the site might have been shut down but I am glad that it isn't. HOPEFULLY, I can stick to what I say this time when I say I am back and ready to be active again... not on an annual basis either. (I am pinning the site on my web browser as I type.)

Here's to more years to come!
See y'all around, both Veteran and Newbie Members. :3

Hi legacyme3, I rememeber you! Thanks! And yeah, I will hop onto other places too. However, your reply has gotten me curious though... has activity dropped a lot since then? Or do you mean I should be active everywhere in general? I have only poked around on my profile since I logged on. O_o

Hey Vizzed peeps!

I don't even know where to begin...

First things first, I can't believe how much the forum has grown and changed since my last visit! It warms my heart to see it change into a whole ball of awesomeness and I can't wait to explore around to see what's new and what stayed the same. (I am most excited about hanging around in the Crazy House again, that's where I always end up.) I hope to be active again like how I used to be back when I first resgistered. I also can't wait to see some familiar users again, though I fear that most of them barely remember me even though I remember them. Hahaha.

Well, according to the site, my last visit was four years ago, when I believe it was my second or third attempt at trying to be constantly active again but alas, I could not. The year was 2013, and I was balancing two jobs, a dead end relationship, and living with my parents. Since then, I continued balancing two jobs, I got out of that relationship and into another relationship that almost ended up in a marriage. (**Posible trigger warning for this next part**)
Spoiler:
That relationship, however, unfortunately ended up being an emotionally, physically, and mentally abusive one that nearly cost me my life. But I managed to get out of it with the help of my family and friends to become a survivor and still be alive and be here to live another day.
I eventually moved out of my parent's house and today I have my own apartment and still juggling two jobs... One of them being at an arcade with some pretty chill gamer peeps like me. :3

I'm finally at the point in my life where I can be able to make time for the things I want to do, and being back on Vizzed was definitely on the top of my list. It feels so good to be back!

See ya around at the Crazy House!

I just came back from a hiatus and wondered why my Trusted Member position went away. Thanks for posting this! The new system actually looks a lot better than the old one. It's definitely better to earn them than ask for them.

Alas, after an unexpected Hiatus, I am back. I really hate how I seem to never have to time to come here. It kinda makes me sad. Hopefully pinning this site on my browser will help remind me to visit often.

It's amazing how much this site has grown throughout the years!
I don't recognize most of the active peeps anymore, but I guess it doesn't hurt to make new friends.

So, here's an update since you heard from me last:

I went to college, then dropped out about a year and a half later because the college screwed up my financial aid paperwork (and a professor screwed up my grades the semester afterwards) which cause my grants and scholarship money to be suspended indefinitely. And this college was recently awarded to be the #1 community college of the nation. How ridiculous is that? They pretty much robbed me of my financial aid money, so to speak. But just last week, I discovered the college (well, institute actually) of my dreams and it's waaaaaaaaaaay cheaper than the college I intended to transfer to after my General Studies classes were finished with. And the best part is, I wouldn't need to take any Math, Science or English classes EVER to graduate and the length of the program is about 8 months with a 87% chance of getting hired into the industry after graduation. Though I know I'll miss learning opportunities with Science, History, and English-and not miss Math at all- I am pretty excited to just start working with my Film Production degree from the get-go and finally get my career rolling.

I had a job at a local grocery store but quit in the nick of time because the new store manager was firing people left and right. After I left, I managed to land a job at local theme park (for security reasons, I won't say which one) and I love every minute of it. It's one of the perks of living anywhere and anytime in Florida I guess. :3

I met a guy last year and have been with him ever since. He's very respectful, silly, and a gamer like me. The only fights we ever have are over the fact that I pretty much kick his butt in most of the video games he owns. Hahaha.

Overall, I'm pretty happy to have my life back on track and hopefully it stays that way.
And it's nice to be back on here too. See ya around guys!

--GamerGirl

(P.S. Sorry for the lengthy post. It's been a while and I am in a very happy mood. Heheh. )

sbi87 : My guess is that you used to play Duck Hunt and the original Mario Bros.? :3
Regardless if you had or not, welcome to Vizzed! You will definitely enjoy this site since you are a NES fan. I recommend going to the Retro Game Room (RGR for short) to play a few of those good ol' games.
I hope to see you around the site more!

Diggydawg909 : Hey there and welcome to Vizzedboard. I love the older Pokemon games too. Preferably the Ruby/Sapphire versions.
Anyway, I hope to see you around the site often. There is a lot to see and do here. Have fun and happy gaming!

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.

We prioritize the community over the site profits.  This is why we avoid using annoying (but high paying) ads like most other sites which include popups, obnoxious sounds and animations, malware, and other forms of intrusiveness.  We'll do our part to never resort to these types of ads, please do your part by helping support this site by adding Vizzed.com to your ad blocking whitelist.
